I'm integrating buddyboss with buddycommerce, so we can see the type of membership.
but we can only see our membership (current user), how do we get other users to see our membership type, or we can see another user membership displayed on buddyboss profile page..

I have a membership ID I just want to pull the membership details from woo-commerce. I was doing this with the active membership function(wc_memberships_get_user_active_memberships) which gives me the currently active membership for the user also I use the wc_memberships_get_user_memberships which is giving me all the memberships for a user, but I want a particular membership whose ID I have.
Edit:
Got the function in woocommerece documentation $user_membership = wc_memberships_get_user_membership($user_membership_id);
Hi i have a difficult wordpress problem in front of me.
I'm developing the site that has two user roles Teachers and students. They have a frontend user registration form that is complex and has multiple custom fields. Teacher form should register user with role of teacher. Student the same, has custom fields and should register users with role student.
Also both user roles can create and edit content and user profiles via frontend form and not try admin.
What is the best way to do this. And where to start.
I'm trying to implement some role-based functionality in my web application (.NET 4.0.3) so that I can control what menu items users can see based on their roles, either Administrator or User.
I'm simply using existing AD groups to administer the roles. Let's say there is a team in my organisation that is represented by an AD group called IT-Managers, and there is another team with AD group IT-Support. I simply want to map IT-Managers as Administrator and IT-Support as User.
I can easily use WindowsPrincipal.IsInRole() to check whether the currently logged-in user belongs to either group, but how do I tell the application that the logged-in user holds the Administrator role or the User role, therefore sitemap security trimming can pick this up?
By implementing your custom Role Provider. Once implemented you can easily use the ASP.NET role provider framework....
Roles.IsUserInRole("Admin");
Roles.GetUsersInRole("Users");
etc.
You can implement a Role Provider by implementing the RoleProvider abstract class or by extending an existing one such as SqlRoleProvider. There's a lot of extensive documentation out there. I'll paste a couple of links

I am new to asp.net and developing an application where there will be some roles like (admin, entry user, maker, checker) one user can have all or can have partial roles based on the provided roles and the page should restrict functionality based on the user role.
What is the best way of implementing it without memberships in asp.net ..
thanks
How can define a role without membership? You have to know who they are in order to get their role, otherwise there is no point.
I have a very basic understanding of ASP.NET and I am trying to do the following. I have a home page that is set-up to be a login page. If you could just picture a username and password box that is the extent of that home page. Once the user is logged in they will go to a different page let's say the account page. However, when the user clicks the logo at the top left hand it takes them to the home page again but it shows the username and password boxes again ready to be filled.
The user status at the top of my page still shows that the user is logged in. What I am trying to do is add a piece of code that will change the link of the logo to display the account page once they are logged in and not the login page.
I don't know if this can be done through the web.config file since I read a different article that has something similar to this or if this code can be put directly next to the code where my logo link (default.aspx) sits.
Many thanks in advance!
Research the Membership Provider.
It's an industry standard in ASP.NET session management. It will manage all of your pages and allow you to customize pages, menus, etc. based on roles and permissions. Don't reinvent the wheel if you have the oppertunity to use it.
Straight from MSDN:
ASP.NET membership supports facilities
for:
Creating new users and passwords.
Storing membership information (user
names, passwords, and supporting data)
in Microsoft SQL Server, Active
Directory, or an alternative data
store.
Authenticating users who visit your
site. You can authenticate users
programmatically, or you can use the
ASP.NET login controls to create a
complete authentication system that
requires little or no code.
Managing passwords, which includes
creating, changing, and resetting them
. Depending on membership options you
choose, the membership system can also
provide an automated password-reset
system that takes a user-supplied
question and response.
Exposing a unique identification for
authenticated users that you can use
in your own applications and that also
integrates with the ASP.NET
personalization and role-management
(authorization) systems.
Specifying a custom membership
provider, which allows you to
substitute your own code to manage
membership and maintain membership
data in a custom data store
