Disable Telegram group notifications except from admin - telegram

I'm part of a large telegram group (say 1000 members).
I don't want to receive notifications for each message. So I've turned off notifications for this group.
But I want to receive notifications for messages posted by admin (or a specific person) only.
Is there an easy way to do this in Android app?

problem in react native chat app algorithm

I am building an app contains chat but i couldn't figure out somethings.
Notifications: I can send notifications to devices but they appear everytime (app in on screen or not) but i want to send "chat" notification only the chat page not open. I think i need to send data notifications instead of normal notifications.
Storing chats: I can't pull all the chats eveytime user wants to see messages. I need to store them and show only the new messages. How can i seperate them? Device has to say i have messages until this timestamp give me newer ones.
I am using firebase and gifted chat. I can give you any version codes if you want.

If I use FCM device group feature, how would I know if any one of the tokens registered in the device group is no longer valid?

For instance, if user uses both phone and tablet to install an app, I will be able to create a device group with these two devices' tokens registered.
However, if the user deletes the app in the tablet without logging out from the app (thus skipping the step of FCM registration token removal workflow during logout), the tablet's FCM token will still remain in the device group in Firebase.
If I continue to use notification key to submit FCM notifications, I wouldn't be able to know that one of the registration token in the device group is invalid.
Is there a way to figure out if any one of the registration token registered in the device group is invalid?
I am asking this question as I am not seeing much benefits of using device group feature in FCM, when I could theoretically manage a list of FCM tokens for each user on my own in a database with full control.

How to send a push notification from the Firebase console to a specific GCM/FCM device token ID

In Urban Airship, when I am composing a notification, I can target specific users by searching for a Urban Airship channel_id (device ID):
I sent from Urban Airship the push notification that I am showing above, and I received it successfully. Now I want to do the same thing, send a push notification to a specific device, but now using the Firebase console. The problem is that in Firebase, in the step where I need to specify the target, it only allows me to choose User segment or topic. I was expecting to see a third option: Target specific users (for sending notifications to one or many specific GCM/FCM device token IDs. So my alternative is to add a GCM/FCM device token ID to a topic and then send the push notification to that topic, which is something that I have successfully done before. Nonetheless, that would be a workaround and not the way I would prefer to do this. Is it possible to send push notifications to specific users (by defining the target GCM/FCM device token IDs) from the Firebase console? Thank you.
UPDATE 1: See how the Firebase console (https://console.firebase.google.com/) only shows User segment and Topic as the Target:
First Step:
Second Step:
Third Step:
By design, the notification feature in the console is for sending out broadcast-type events. Sending user-specific alerts would be more of a programmatic operation done through the API.
For sending test messages, there is a console tool for this, explained here.
Note that it is possible to send a notification to one device by subscribing a device to any topic and sending the notification to that topic in the console (keep in mind topics are public and you can't prevent users from signing up to them; fine for testing most likely).
Another alternative is to send a message via HTTP or curl. Perhaps the best resource for this is the quickstart/messaging example.

Flutter - push firebase notifications to specific users without firebase auth

I am working with Firebase to push notifications and I don't use Firebase authentication on my app (I have my own system).
I didn't find an answer to this question:
Is it possible to push notifications to a specific user with firebase without Firebase authentication (and therefore, without a UID)? How?
The push notifications are not sent based on user, they are sent based on push notification token that is received when you register for push notifications (iOS & Android).
The push notification token will change in the case of uninstall/install and has nothing to do with what user is logged in in the app, you can send push notifications to apps that don't have users at all.
In order to target a specific user with push notification, you must do something called user segmentation, that is, filter user based on particular properties of these users. In general user segmentation is done by tracking user action and user properties and depends on the push notification platform in use. For example you can track user actions in the app, like user added product to cart, user has x products in cart and then send a push notification to all users that have more than 3 products in cart.
All the push notifications platform link the push notification token to the events triggered.
If you are using firebase, the most easiest way is to track user properties, there are a lot of tutorials on this part. Although, in my opinion, firebase tracking is kind of crappy.
One thing to note, since the push notification token is not linked to the user directly, in case there are two users (two accounts) using the same device they, they will receive push notifications on the same device, so don't send sensitive information via push notifications.

Firebase Cloud Messaging to send notification for set of users

I'm developing an app using Firebase, in the app there are groups and for groups there are multiple members. I want to send notifications to members in a particular group based on one of the users activity. As an example in a chat app, notification to others informing there is a new message.
I referred this blog post. As it seems best way to do this is Firebase Topic Messaging, all members can be subscribed to the group id as a topic.
My matter is how to avoid receiving notification to the member who's action causes to the notification.
I tried Firebase message sending to multiple topics but it only allows for two logical operations (&&, ||)
Firebase Cloud Messaging has two types of messages: notification messages and data messages.
The default behavior of Firebase is that notification messages will automatically be displayed if the app is in the background or not running. This behavior cannot be modified. If the app is in the foreground, the notification message will not be automatically shown, it will instead be delivered to your app's code.
Data messages on the other hand will always be delivered to your app's code.
Since the user sending the message will typically have the app open, the default behavior will automatically ensure the notification is not shown on the sending user's device.
But in the blog post you refer to there is a race condition for this. If the user closes the app between the time they send the notification to the server and the time the server sends out the notification, the notification may show on their device too.
If this is a concern for your app, you should not use a notification message. Use a data message instead and include enough information in the message to detect which user has sent it (e.g. the user's uid).
