My log files are filling up with this and I can't figure out where it is coming from. I'm running Plone 5. All the log file show is the following:
2016-02-02T07:03:19 INFO Products.CMFPlone Error compiling js/css for the bundle
------
2016-02-02T07:03:19 INFO Products.CMFPlone Error compiling js/css for the bundle
Is there a more in depth log I can use?
Has anyone seen this error before and where does it usually stem from?
Thanks in advance.
I tracked down the issue. It had nothing to do with the error suggested in github.com/collective/wildcard.media/issues/37
For some reason, one of my addons was included in it's own bundle and added as a resource in plone-legacy. They collided. Once I dropped one, the errors went away.
So anyone with this issue, check to make sure you don't have any collisions.

I am getting the yellow screen of death for my asp.net application which has the NLog implementation enabled. The error is "Could not load file or assembly NLog.Web.AspNetCore or one of its dependencies" while initializing the logger. I followed all basic setup rules for the logging from NLog in my asp.net application and it still fails to work. The log files are not written too. I am confused how to troubleshoot further.
Here are the things I did but no luck,
Enabled exceptions for NLog = > Thus I found that Logger has a problem loading NLog.Web.AspNetCore. It says the system cannot find the file specified.
The extensions section in the Nlog config was there by default and it contains NLog.Web.AspNetCore however my application isn't based on asp.net core.
the file path of the log is set as name="MyLog" type="File" fileName="log.txt" along with layout and createDirs = true in the target section.
Rules of the log is also defined. logger name = "*" minlevel=trace writeTo="MyLog".
Some how I couldn't get this working for past 2 days. Please guide me with some hints to resolve this problem. Appreciate your time to help!
Many thanks.
If the following is true:
however my application isn't based on asp.net core.
Then you should stop your attempts in trying to load NLog.Web.AspNetCore (Remove from it from <extensions>). And remove any references to layout-renderers that begins with ${aspnet-
I am attempting to deploy a change to a legacy ASP.NET solution. I have copied over the views and css files, but when I try to copy over a modified assembly, I get this error when the application runs:
Compiler Error Message: BC30456: 'InitializeCulture' is not a member of 'ASP.dashboard_aspx'.
I understand that the site may need to recompile itself, but it is complaining about a view I haven't changed. It is also griping about missing member InitializeCulture which I can't even find a reference for in my code.
The site works fine in debug and when deployed locally BTW.
Any ideas?
In the end I lost patience with trying to deploy what I thought had changed and simply published the website to a directory and then copied that over en masse.
Clearly there is some code or linkage somewhere that I had overlooked but the error message is a complete red herring.
I'm attempting to configure a spring MVC app so it builds a war file when the application is deployed. When I add the examqa:war artifact, I get the following error message (seen at the bottom of image)
Not sure where to look, didn't find any mention of this error when using google. Any ideas?
I got the same problem but solution was different. The problem was with artifact type which had to be changed from Java EE Application exploded to Web Application:Exploded/Archive
I changed artifact type from EAR to WAR (deleted the old one and created a new one). This solved the problem.
In intellij, this can be done by going to artifacts in project-structure (alt+ctrl+shift+s).
Forgot to change the artifactId and name in my pom.xml file from a previous setting.
<artifactId>examqa</artifactId>
<name>ExamQA</name>
I am trying to create pretty error pages for my application by following this cookbook article. Sometimes a bug slips in, which causes the application to return a single line: 503 Service Unavailable. It would make my life a whole lot easier if only I could see the underlying error or exception thrown. Switching over to the development environment doesn't help either as the error templates are only used in production.
I figured out that I needed to add TwigBundle to assetic's configuration to use javascript and css assets. Problems like this are really hard to debug in the production environment.
Setting the debug mode to true in my front controller doesn't help, since production error templates get replaced by development templates.
EDIT
Thanks to Mike Purcell I managed to retrieve the errors provided. I got
Uncaught exception 'Symfony\Component\Routing\Exception\ResourceNotFoundException' in /[snip]/app/cache/prod/appprodUrlMatcher.php:669
Turns out the framework should be handling the exception, but in the case of a possible error inside the error Twig template, it just decides to throw a 503 error.
How do I turn on error reporting for the production environment in a Symfony2 application?
I'm tired of guessing what's wrong and clearing the cache. What is the best way to debug Twig's error templates in production?
The best way to see what errors are being thrown in production is to configure Monolog to email the errors too you or alternatively to a file.
Have a look at the Symfony2 Cookbook on emailing logs http://symfony.com/doc/master/cookbook/logging/monolog_email.html
To make the error pages look nicer have a look at this cookbook entry on how to do that http://symfony.com/doc/master/cookbook/controller/error_pages.html
There are open source tools specifically built for error reporting like Sentry, which has a native Symfony client.
disclaimer: I work for Sentry

All of a sudden Flash Builder 4 is missing all kinds of fundamental things and is generating incorrect errors. I've had the same issue yesterday, where I fixed it by downloading a new Flex SDK and importing that into FB. I did this again, but this time it fixed nothing.
I don't think it's something I did, like removing critical references from the build path. The errors also appeared on projects I was not working on at the time. It occurs for ActionScript, Flex and Flex Library projects alike.
Update 3: Well, i've singled the problem down to a single piece of code, though a very simple one. I can make a new workspace in FB and things work ok, then screw the workspace up forever by adding this code to a project. All projects will have errors and closing or even removing the faulty project does not change this. Making another new workspace (without the faulty code) makes my projects compile again.
Link: http://www.the3rdage.net/files/2745/Main.as
(i've uploaded the file in case an odd character or encoding error causes the error)
Update 2: I've tried manual compiling with mxmlc, the same errors occur. It appears to be an SDK problem, not Flash Builder.
Update: I find this stack trace in the Flash Builder error log:
!ENTRY com.adobe.flexbuilder.project 4 43 2010-05-11 11:55:47.495

Did you get a chance to list this issue in their bugs list. I have not yet tried Flex 4. did you try to refresh your project and re open your flash builder.
Update:
What about a simple project. I think you are trying to load something which its not able to get.
mxmlc - verify-digests
Try this.
Problems I've had that were somewhat similar, once I had FB running under the wrong version of Java. Another time I had done some edits to the flex-config.xml file in order to make it work with a Maven plugin we had written in house. After that we made the plugin look at a copy of the original xml file, so that problem went away.
hth.
Might i recommend HFCD? The HellFire Compile Daemon is an out of process flex compiler that speeds up compile times immensely, and almost more importantly runs in a separate process from FlashBuidler. I have had some absolutely horrendous errors with Flash Builder due to the complexity and size of our project, where HFCD has helped tremendously here.
