Using JayData to fetch the data from sql server into websql browser - asp.net

I am trying to add the entity which is related to another entity
onlinedb.DemoShifts.filter("it.EmployeeID ==="+empID).toArray(function (DemoShift) {
DemoShift.forEach(function (demoShift) {
offlinedb.DemoShifts.add(demoShift);
alert("Add DemoShift");
onlinedb.Sites.filter("it.SiteID==="+demoShift.SiteID).toArray(function(Sitess){
Sitess.forEach(function(site){
onlinedb.SiteChains.filter("it.ChainID==="+site.ChainID).toArray(function (chains) {
offlinedb.attach(chains[0]);
alert("Add SiteChain");
});
offlinedb.add(site);
var res = offlinedb.saveChanges();
res.done(function () { alert("Success"); });
res.fail(function (ex) { alert("Success"); });
});
});
});
});
I am getting this error "Context already contains the entity"
What is exactly wrong I am doing Can you tell me is there any way I can check if the entity already exists or something?

The library throws this error if the entity is attached more than one. What happens if you comment the following line?
offlinedb.attach(chains[0]);

Meteor: callLoginMethod not found error

I'm having difficulty invoking a login method, it follows
$ meteor list
Accounts-base 1.2.14 A user account system
Ecmascript 0.6.1 Compiler plugin that supports ES2015 + in all .js files
Meteor-base 1.0.4 Packages that every Meteor app needs
React 15.0.1 Everything you need to use React with Meteor.
Static-html 1.1.13 Defines static page content in .html files
/server/main.js
import { Accounts } from 'meteor/accounts-base'
Accounts.registerLoginHandler('simples', (ttt) => {
console.log(ttt);
});
/client/main.js
autenticar(){
Accounts.callLoginMethod({
methodName: 'simples',
methodArguments: [{ tipo : 'simples' }],
validateResult: function (result) {
console.log('result', result);
},
userCallback: function(error) {
if (error) {
console.log('error', error);
}
}
})
}
When calling authenticar(), I get this error:
errorClass
  Details: undefined
  Error: 404
  ErrorType: "Meteor.Error"
  Message: "Method 'simples' not found [404]"
  Reason: "Method 'simples' not found"
Where is the error?
I've never used this API personally, but from a quick glance through the Meteor internals, I see a couple issues.
Accounts.registerLoginHandler only adds an additional handler to an array of built-in handlers which are called as part of the default Meteor login process.
If you are trying to plug in an additional handler into the existing process, you should call Accounts.callLoginMethod without the methodName key.
Calling Accounts.callLoginMethod with methodName will bypass the built-in handlers completely and replace them with your custom method, however this method needs to be declared separately by you with Meteor.methods, not registerLoginHandler.
So, that's probably your error -- you need to define your simples method with Meteor.methods. Also, you should check the code for the requirements of this method, see the comments in the code here:
https://github.com/meteor/meteor/blob/devel/packages/accounts-base/accounts_client.js
Only to complement and keep as a referral for someone else to get here. That way it's working
client.js
Accounts.callLoginMethod({
methodArguments: [{tipo: 'simples'}],
validateResult: (result) => {
console.log('success', result);
},
userCallback: function(error) {
if (error) {
console.log('error', error);
}
}
});
server.js
Meteor.startup(function () {
var config = Accounts.loginServiceConfiguration.findOne({
service : 'simples'
});
if (!config) {
Accounts.loginServiceConfiguration.insert({ service: 'simples' });
}
});
Accounts.registerLoginHandler((opts) => {
if(opts.tipo === 'simples'){
return Accounts.updateOrCreateUserFromExternalService ('simples', {
id: 0 // need define something
}, {
options : 'optional'
})
}
});

Ionic and SQLite wait until database info is loaded

I have a project on Ionic where I need to render some information of the database in the home page, something like a TODO program.
I already have some information on the database and I'm trying to render the list of items but I have the next problem:
First the home page is loaded without any result
Then the data from the database is loaded and printed on the screen
The problem is I want the view to wait until the database info is loaded until showing anything, I'm wondering if I can use some kind of loading icon.
I've followed the answer here: Open database before main controller is called in Ionic and SQlite
I have the database initialization working but as I've said, the data is loaded after the view is rendered.
I've tried using $ionicLoading but I didn't get any good result
This is my view:
.controller('homeCtrl', function ($scope, $state, $cordovaSQLite, DB) {
$scope.$on('$ionicView.enter', function() {
tasks = []
var query = "SELECT * FROM task;";
$cordovaSQLite.execute(DB.db, query, []).then(function(results) {
if(results.rows.length > 0) {
for (i=0; i<results.rows.length; i++){
console.log("SELECTED -> " + results.rows.item(0).title);
$scope.tasks.push(results.rows.item(i))
}
} else {
console.log("No results found");
}
}, function (err) {
$scope.tasks = [];
console.error(err);
});
$scope.tasks = tasks;
});
})
This is a video example of the issue I'm having right now:
https://youtu.be/H2fUYQuV3xg
Finally I found a solution following the advice of using resolve in my routes.
.state('home', {
url: '/',
templateUrl: 'templates/home.html',
controller: 'homeCtrl',
resolve: {
tasks: function(DB) {
return DB.getTasks();
});
}
}
})
I have a factory called DB where I have some functions to retrieve data from the database. On this example I load the tasks before entering on the URL using DB.getTasks()
To load the variable tasks resolved on the route I have to add the variable name on the function like this:
app.controller('homeCtrl', function (tasks) {
$scope.tasks = tasks;
})

meteorjs get data returned from server callback

In meteor im trying to insert a new document by making a Meteor.call from the client. Everything is working ok, except that I want to return the id of create document to the client, so that i can redirect to the proper url.
I have something similar to this (client):
Meteor.call('scenarioCreate', scenarioObj, function(err, response) {
if(err) {
console.warn(err);
return;
}
console.info(response);
});
On server:
Meteor.methods({
'scenarioCreate': function(scenarioObj) {
Scenarios.insert( scenarioObj, function(err, id) {
console.info("new id: "+id);
if (err) {
console.warn(err);
throw new Meteor.Error(404, 'Something went wrong');
}
return id;
});
}
});
From the server side i get the console log "new id: DDaq4aWsGf3fxG7RP", but I should get that same value on the client on the "response" value, but I always get undefined.
Can anybody explain to me why or what I am doing wrong.
Meteor.methods doesn't wait for your callback. Try this:
On server:
Meteor.methods({
'scenarioCreate': function(scenarioObj) {
var newId = Scenarios.insert(scenarioObj);
return newId;
}
});
To catch any error, use try/catch
Note: If you still want to use callback, checkout fibers/future.
Your first error is that you are returning id inside the callback for insert. That doesn't do anything. Then your second is not knowing that methods are synchronously executed. That would mean that you could only use the information available inside the callback using Meteor.wrapAsync. But that's besides the point. The insert function returns the new _id. Meaning you can do this:
Meteor.methods({
'scenarioCreate': function(scenarioObj) {
return Scenarios.insert( scenarioObj );
}
});

Meteor.publish() - how to get documents by free text

I trying to get documents by free text.
This part, that getting data by field works OK and returns data:
Meteor.publish("messages", function(){
return Messages.find({ discussion_id: "discus_id_87" });
});
This one doesn't work:
Meteor.publish("messages", function(){
return Messages.find({ $text: { $search: "Some text" } });
});
Returns an ERROR:
Error: Exception while polling query {"collectionName":"messages","selector":{"$text":{"$search":"Some text"}},"options":{"transform":null}}: Unable to execute query: error processing query: ns=meteor.messages limit=0 skip=0
This is an example from mongoDB $text
db.articles.find( { $text: { $search: "bake coffee -cake" } } )
What I'm doing wrong?
How to get documents by free text?
Thanks
Make sure your mongo database is version 2.6. This is a relatively new MongoDB feature.
Also, you are required to create an index:
Meteor.startup(function (){
Messages._ensureIndex({"$**": "text"}, {"name": "searchIndex"});
});
More info here: http://docs.mongodb.org/manual/tutorial/create-text-index-on-multiple-fields/

wrapAsync + method + session

i'm having issues with wrapAsync + method + sessions.
How do I implement the WrapAsync correctly?
I want, in a template to know if the user has at least one item created by him. And then define whether or not he can create another item.
Now i'm getting this error:
W20141013-15:04:43.237(-3)? (STDERR) Error: Can't wait without a fiber
But, I could not find Fiber at Documentation. And for implementing this, is it really necessary?

On the client side I want something like:
//pagina.js
Template.pagina.helpers{
userHasItem: return Session.get('userHasItem');
}
//pagina.js
Meteor.call('userHasItem', Meteor.userId(), function (error,result) {
Session.set('userHasItem', result);
});
//at server side:
if(Meteor.isServer){
Meteor.startup(function () {
var userHasItemAsync = function (userId) {
setTimeout(function () {
if (Items.findOne({'userId': userId})) {
return true;
} else {
return false;
}
}, 4000);
};
Meteor.methods({
userHasItem: function(userId) {
var userHasItemSync = Meteor.wrapAsync(userHasItemAsync),
result;
try {
userHasItemSync(userId);
console.log(result);
return result;
}catch (e) {
console.log('erreur', e.message);
throw new Meteor.Error(500, e);
}
},
}
});
}
Can't get your error to reproduce based on the existing code.
Still, userHasItemAsync is not available because you've defined it locally in the Meteor.startup function. But the error you should get in this case is userHasItemAsync is undefined.
Also the code you've entered here has multiple errors (i guess you typed it in not copy / pasted from your project): template instead of Template, Template it's defined outside of isClient (probably it's in a file available for the client) etc. Because of that it's hard to reproduce your exact case.
There is no need to call a server method to see if the item exists (assuming you have set up the proper publications/subscriptions), nor any need to call wrapAsync. In fact, what you want to achieve doesn't even require a session. All of the code can be ultimately distilled to this:
Template.pagina.helpers{
userHasItem: return Items.find({ userId: Meteor.userId() }).count() > 0;
}
The cursor returned by Items.find is reactive in itself, so there is no need for using a Session.
