twilio voice to voice call - qt

We are using QNetworkAccessManager and want to do person to person live call, how do we do this? Can you send a link to find more information where we can find this.
If this is not possible, which other technology can we use to control with a QT c++ application to get this done?
we are using QT 5.15.2, and are able to send text, enter a number which twilio will call with a prerecorded message, but we cannot figure out how to do real voice to voice calls yet.
Somehow we need to redirect audio from the pc (microphone and earpiece) to the twilio voice call while we are able to record this call.
Thank you

What is a solution to using the scanning of a QR code to execute a smart contract function on Ethereum?

So I have been working with Ethereum's metamask, and implemented web app where the user can come while being logged into metamask, and call a function on my smart contract via metamask. Tutorials for this exist and it's not very hard.
I want to implement calling a smart contract, when a user comes into a store ([physically). I want to do it the following way:
Some customer comes in and uses some application $A on his phone, which may be a wallet app or some other application that has access to his ethereum wallet.
On my POS application, I will render a QR code.
When he scans the QR code with his mobile phone, it is equivalent to either:
sending ethereum funds to our company account, while I am able to verify that this has happened via an event, or
he calls a function on a smart contract. This seems more appealing because I know that you can send events via smart contract calls.
So my question is:
Do any applications that have the functionality of application $A exist, are they widely used?
What can I use to implement exposing a QR code which is effectively some form of visual API for my program?
What you need is a library in your application to create a QR code. This QR code will need to be created for the function/method you need to call on the smart contract. You can use https://github.com/jibrelnetwork/ethereum-qr-code/blob/master/README.md
The QR code will be scanned by the user using the wallet on their mobile phone app wallet. This transaction will trigger the smart contract function and allow your application to proceed forward.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Answer to Q1:
Yes, there are applications like this(i made one myself). Most existing mobile wallets use this approach, for eg. Tenx.
Answer to Q2:
Sorry but this question is not totally clear to me. Are you asking for some sort of library for creating a QR code?

In alexa custom app Can I get the query as a voice stream/audio file of a user?

After the user invokes an app on Alexa , Is there a way to get the query as a voice stream/audio file of a user? Through alexa I want to send the stream to a webservice/lambda that the invoked app will call and analyze the intent there.
We have some proprietary code that we want to use for analyzing intent hence we cant do it on the alexa side
Since I am sending the query after the user has invoked the app and through the app there are no privacy concerns(hopefully)
Thanks
No, that is not possible, and I don't think it will be.
Echo devices connect to Amazon only, and Amazon uses Lex (which is also available via AWS) to parse speech files. As a skill developer, you will only receive the parsed results: intent, slots - and maybe, when Amazon implements user differentiation, an anonymous ID for the speaker.
There is no way to access the original speech audio in your skill. As every file is also used by Amazon to train their speech recognition, I doubt they will open their ecosystem accordingly.
Only option I see currently: build your own Echo with e.g. a Raspberry Pi, then you have full control. But you can't leverage the install base of Echo.
Same applies to Google Home and Microsoft Cortana, so it's not just Amazon.

How to capture wechat group incoming message and save it

need some advice from wechat experts.
How to get all incoming message from a specific wechat group and send it to server db.
Is there any available api or need to use xposed and hook the function of wechat.
Plz advice. Tq
I dont know the specifics of wechat but if it is an Android app you can always intercept its text and images.
Check if the following suits your needs: angel bitbucket.
It is basically an Xposed module that intercepts TextViews and ImageViews in apps. It then sends them from the 3rd party apps to a standalone stub (running in the Xposed app itself). This stub sends them to a nodejs server that shows them in "real-time" in the browser.
Note that by default it is set to only intercept a few apps (whatsapp, facebook...) and while i made it modular, you will still have to build it yourself.

Sending a RESTful url (endpoint) from Band

I just have a general question. Can you send a url from a button on the band. I have a home automation system that you can trigger events by sending a RESTful url (endpoint) to. Basically I can put the url in any web browser and trigger the event. It would be great if this could be done through the Band. I don't really need a response from the Url, just to send it.
Does that make sense?
Thanks,
Scott
No, the Band communicates only via Bluetooth to (applications on) its paired device. On Windows (Phone), the application must be running, with a connection to the Band, and subscribed to the Tile button pressed event in order to receive such notifications. This generally rules out scenarios that require ad-hoc input from the Band unless you're willing to use voice commands via Cortana.
But i think its possible by creating custom tile and handling custom tile events. Haven't tried it in my project but can see from sdk documentation.
For android you can implement broadcast receiver and listen to tile events. Check: sdk doc
Chap 9, page 51
In short, yes it is possible.
However, the problem would be that the button would be single use to only send that ONE URL command and it actually wouldn't be done via the Band.
You can create custom layouts for your applications with the Microsoft Band SDK which will allow you to create a button. You'll then need to register to the click event from the Band which then would get fired on the device the app is running on. From there, you'd be able to send the URL but it would be sent from the Windows Phone or Windows PC rather than the Band so you'd need to be connected. The documentation covers how you can do this here: http://developer.microsoftband.com/Content/docs/Microsoft%20Band%20SDK.pdf
A downside to doing this with WinRT is that as soon as the app is closed and the connection to the Band is lost, your button click won't have any action. The best way to get around this is to create the connection to the Band in a background task but unfortunately, you can't keep hold of the connection to the Band for an infinite amount of time and you'd have to live with the possibilities that you may have times where it doesn't work. I have a GitHub sample which shows you how to connect to the Band in a background task for an indefinite amount of time.
The Microsoft Band has really been developed for the Health aspect and collecting data rather than interactions with other apps which it does in some way support.

asterisk send event to a web app when the phone ring

I have a hardphone that register to asterisk 11.8. When someone call this phone, information about user input ivr and user phone number is inside asterisk, is it possible to expose these information to the outside app. For example, I have a webapp, that when the user type in the account number via ivr, the web app, can pull this information back to display the user information. I am a bit new to asterisk and was previously use Freeswitch.
I start reading something about Asterisk AMI, that there are manager event that sending from asterisk to AMI client. So can it be like this. When the phone rang, there will be an event that send to me web app, this event contain information about the phone number of the caller, and what he/she type in for IVR? Can AMI do something like that? I check asterisk AMI event documentation https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/AMI+Event+Documentation, but I dont see any event like "calling"
Please guide me, you can just provide me high level general information and I can start looking further. THank you
Yes. Asterisk does store that kind of information - the incoming number, the duration of the call etc. It is present in the form of a csv file that can be accessed at:
/var/log/asterisk/cdr-*
You can write code to access these logs and get needed information about them.
EDIT to answer comment:
While I am not sure if this information is stored after a call is disconnected, you can write a dialplan to get what you are doing. As soon as a call is received on the extension, the dialplan should:
- Get the incoming call number and send that to a webapp. I think this should be very easy.
