Why does updating my file in GDrive break iFrames and is treated as new file rather than a revision? - iframe

I am using the Google Drive iframe/embed feature to display .pdf menus for a brewery client. They update the tap-list often so it is/was an easy way to keep it up-to-date. However, semi-recently something changed within Drive. Whenever I upload an updated .pdf, rather than just updating and it is visible, it changes share settings, and the embed link is changed. Definitely not the biggest issue but having to re-embed the file a few times a weeks is getting tedious.
Any one have any clue what to do about this? hoping there is a Drive setting or soemthing simple I'm missing.
Thank you!
Whenever I upload an updated .pdf to Google Drive, rather than just updating, becoming just a revision of the old file, and saying visible, it changes share settings, and the embed link is new thus breaing iframes.

Do you lose all your images if you delete the variant in Cloudflare Images?

I noticed that a bunch of my images were no longer showing up on my website. When I inspected the url, I get:
ERROR 9425: Image access denied: This account doesn't have variant with this name
I think I had deleted a couple of my variants because I thought that was meant for creating newly resized images based upon the variant settings. I didn't realize it cause an issue with images created in the past.
In my case, I recreated a new variant with the same name as the old one. The old images still work. I'm not entirely sure what this means, but if someone could explain it to me, and how it's beneficial, that would be great!

How to restrict download a copy and print to read the PPT files in microsoft office online?

I'm trying to create a powerpoint viewer on my worpress page that shows a ppt file. The problem is that I do not want to be able to download (i want read only), but I can not disable the Microsoft Office online options "download a copy" and "print pdf".
[embeddoc url="https://ceysformacion.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/CURSO-AMENAZA-DE-BOMBA.ppt" width="90%" height="90%" download="none" viewer="microsoft"]
I have also tried with css (display: none) on some classes, but without effect.
Any advice?
I am not entirely sure about the possibility of disabling the MS online option for download so what I can see as a work around are:
either change the way you render the ppt and do something like slide share or
add password/security protected on the file that can be downloaded.. well this is under the assumption that your purpose is to manage access on copies of specific files.
I also saw this thread, which may support my initial point that preventing download is still not available. But again, I am not entirely sure how accurate this info is. Hope it helps.

Editing MediaWiki Menus hosted on AWS

i`m having a problem on the developing of my Wiki for my job, which is was created using MediaWiki.
The wiki is been hosted on AWS, and i`m using the virtual servers EC2.
I dont know if i`m using the right terms because i know nothing about programming but this job was given to me and i really have to make it work.
My problem is when i try to change the Menus (Navigation, Tools, etc..). I could change its color on the .css documents but trying to rewrite the name its been a huge problem.
Image of what is happening here!
The thing is that ">>" after the "Navigation" and "Tools" does not desapear, i have already accessed the mediawiki:sidebar but nothing changes. Also, there is no .css file that contains this code of the photo and there is no document on my wiki directory with this code.
I discovered that if i make any change on this code of the photo it will solve my problem but i dont know how to find this document or even if it`s possible.
If i click "Source" on Crome developers tool, i can see the directory of my wiki and inside of it the directories "Skin/gumaxdd" and "Index.PHP", the second one contains the "Main_page" that has this code on, and the first have all the .css and scripts files of my wiki.
I try to use the FileZilla to find this directory on my wiki but i did not found, so i would like to ask if there is how to edit these codes and how do i do it?
Sorry if it is a simple question, but is taking me so much time, i don`t even know what to ask about it in order to solve my problem.
Thanks people. :)
I have found the solution, i cannot access this but i can access the "gumaxdd.php", there is the code i have to change.
But first, if i now nothing about coding, i just make that things i want on google inspect and copy the line that comprehends the category that changes are located.
then i go to mediawiki:commons.css and paste it there.
When i do it, the mediawiki already put that code on the format i must put on the gumaxdd.php file, then i have to copy this code.
After that you'll need only open the file, search for that category that comprehends my changes and paste the code.
And it is done, everything is done without too much understand of coding !

Silverstripe image moving from one folder to another freezes screen and no operations can be performed after that

I am using Silverstripe 3.0 and everything is running fine. Suddenly I faced an issue while moving images from one folder to another from admin/assets section.
In this section when we click on the folder it takes us inside the folder and shows all the images inside that in grid view. When we click on any image then it takes us to the image details page (for example admin/assets/EditForm/field/File/item/1917/edit) where we have the details of the image such as File name, Title, Owner and a drop down Folder which shows the folder in which the image is located.
When I change the folder from the drop down and want to move the image to selected folder, then during the process the screen freezes and none of the actions happen though in console all the ajax calls can be seen working and no error in console. Once I refresh the page then all the things work normal and the image which I moved to other folder is there in other folder.
Any help or Idea where I can look for the issue ??
Your question is quite explanatory but it is not possible to give a perfect solution to your answer. As a guess I can say that you have some issue with redirection in your code in framework/forms/gridfield/GridFieldDetailForm.php page.
As you said you are using 3.0 so I have tested this issue in 3.15 and found that there is no such issue. I would suggest you to replace the old file with this new one in Silverstripe 3.15 and see if that works. If it does work than you can compare these two files and pin point the cause of the issue.
But always remember to take a backup first and then do such thing.
Cheers.

Adobe Livecycle ES3 saving issue - file keeps getting larger

I have been working on a form in Adobe Livecycle ES3.
I started with a file that was approx. 1 MB in size.
I realized that every time I saved the file it got larger by approx. 1-2 MB.
This happens even if I just save the file as a new name without doing any editing.
I ended up with a 45 MB file size and I really did not change that much to the form design.
I am new to this program, and cannot find anything online to explain this behavior.
I am thinking that the program is saving some kind of history buffer?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Edit to Answer Questions asked below:
1) The form is stored locally
2) The only option is to save as a PDF. The form is based off of a PDF imported document.
3) Can I change to XDP when it is imported background artwork?
4) The XML does not appear to be doubling up info.
I found an article yesterday that talks about the file size growing each time you save it with Livecycle. The adobe guy seemed to say that it was life and that there was nothing you could do about it. Seems a little weird to me. I don't know if I have really given you anything new here. I am very frustrated with it.
Thanks

To start off, I need to ask you if your form is stored locally on your machine or are you editing a copy of the form saved on the LiveCycle server itself ?
If your form resides on the server, download a copy of the form on your machine and try your tests on it to see if the file size increases every time you save it on your machine. Do let me know how your tests go in this scenario.
If you are working on a form design on your machine, are you saving your form as a PDF or an XDP ?
If you are saving your form as a PDF, save it as an XDP.
If you are saving your form as an XDP, open it up in either the XML editor in LiveCycle designer or just use a text editor to view its contents.
I have seen issues in the past where (and its a bug btw) LiveCycle Designer repeats the same design time XML tags mulin the form. If this is the case in your form, you can simply do a find and replace to remove them.
Hope this helps. Please let me know how your tests go and if you have any more questions about LiveCycle.
Thanks,
Armaghan.
I have seen this issue quite often, in fact today I had a file which jumped from 1.5mb to 188mb.
Having gone through the Adobe site it appears that there is no definite reason for it, but it appears to happen more when you embed fragments into the form or are using a lot of tables.
Anyway the quickest fix is to go into the XML view and search for 'aped' This will usually find a line with something like:
Simply do a find/replace on the full line (leave the replace with blank).
Do this for:
Once complete go back into design view and save it. You should see the file size decrease.
I experienced the same issue. I found a way around it, but you need to have a copy of the original file.
1. From the bloated file, copy the XML from the XML Source window in LiveCycle Designer.
2. Open the original PDF in LiveCycle Designer.
3. Replace the XML in the XML Source window with the XML on the clipboard.
4. Save.
