Our application is using Spring 5.3.0, Jdk 13, and Wildfly 21. Basically, I am upgrading the spring version from 4 to 5.3.0.I have resolved some issues.On application start, I am getting this exception below.

I have decompiled Encodings.class and found out that method is present there but still throwing exception.

Manually deployed the generated war file on tomcat 8 and it worked. Probably issue was in tomcat to which maven was deploying the war file.

Spring 4 Rest problems

I am trying to create a spring mvc rest app using spring 4 with the added restcontroller feature but i get an error inside the restcontrollerclass which i cant solve.

#RestController and your class name(RestController) are conflicting. You can't have the same name in as class. Change the name of your class file. it should work.

spring-security-taglib maven dependency ignored

I am using Spring STS and have a spring mvc web application and have changed my pom.xml to include the following dependency...

For some reason Maven does not like this and although spring-security-taglibs-3.0.5.RELEASE.jar is being downloaded into my maven repositories the jar is not being included on the project path.
Hence I get an error when I try and do this.
