Style Button as inline text in react-native - css

I have the following code using the Text and Button components from react-native-paper:

If I replace the Button with TouchableOpacity or alike the result looks like:
How can I style the Button or TouchableOpacity so it's not offset in regard to the surrounding text?

One way to accomplish this is to use nested texts. Something like this:

Double Modal in React-Native?

I'm experiencing a lot of difficulty trying to implement a "double modal", i.e. two modals at the same time.
e.g.
I'm using Overlay from the 'react-native-elements' library to achieve the modal effect, however, putting two of them together in a view isn't working as it will only display the first one. I'm also finding that directly setting the height of the overlay isn't having any effect.
I then considered creating a custom component but can't figure out how to dim the background using CSS.

React-Native: Scroll view does not respect justify content?

When attempting to use ScrollView it appears to not respect justifyContent of its parent container.

The Text element does respect the justifyContent:center of the parent and renders as:

The solution that I have in mind right now is to check the length of the text and conditionally render Scroll View something like:

Which very much is not ideal, due to different device screens as well as text potentially having new lines.
The ScrollView does in fact respect the justifyContent:center of its parent. The ScrollView is placed in the center of the outer View component. But here the ScrollView takes up the whole vertical screen, so it seems like it is not centered.
Try setting <ScrollView style={{backgroundColor: 'green'}}> to see what i mean.
Try applying viewStyle or a similar styling to the ScrollView itself. Make sure that you use the attribute contentContainerStyle instead of style. This snippet works for me.

You need to give styling to ScrollView, for styling ScrollView you can use style or contentContainerStyle prop:
style defines the outer container of the ScrollView, e.g its height and relations to siblings elements
contentContainerStyle defines the inner container of it, e.g items alignments, padding, etc
In your case you need to give contentContainerStyle to position your items for eg:

How to create a button with gradient color and an icon in React Native?

Like the title says, I want to ask if there's a way to create a button with gradient color and an icon in React Native? I know that gradient color can't be added without an external library, so I tried this one:

However, I can't see a way to add Icon as a props to the gradient buttons of this library. The answer doesn't have to use the library, I would just like to know a convenient way to achieve the button I described. Thanks.
You can create your own button with an icon like below

Overwrite a button backgroundColor in react-native

I am new on react-native and I was wondering if there is an easy way to overwrite a backgroundColor in the button. I did try in many ways but with no luck.
Basically I am trying to replace the blue background by default with my custom color.
Any good tips?

How to style React Native <CheckBox> component?

Is it possible to style the React Native CheckBox component?
There is no style property listed here: https://facebook.github.io/react-native/docs/checkbox.html
I put an invalid style property on it, and the RN warning message that popped up told me all the valid CSS properties, but none of them did anything beneficial towards styling.
The component looks decent, but I want to change it from that teal color to a brand color.
Is it possible?
These properties are not working but are listed as valid style props for CheckBox:

I don't understand why it even exists if everyone just makes their own checkbox. If I did that, I wouldn't really have any use for because all it gives is

unless there is something magic it does under the hood. It has a decent onChange animation, but that would be deprecated instantly when I make my own and use something like <TouchableHighlight or Opacity> wrapped around an on/off image or <View>.
I can't find any info on Google except hundreds of custom checkboxes. It's actually really hard to search around them.

Short answer is you simply can't. React Native uses the native Android Checkbox component, and the only customization you get to do is changing the tint colors, as seen in the react-native-checkbox community project. This prop is undocumented in the official React Native docs.
Additionally, here's the TypeScript definition for this component: AndroidCheckBoxNativeComponent.js. Notice how the only props relayed to the native component are onChange, onValueChange, testID, on, enabled and tintColors.
Yes, you can, i recommend you that use react native elements, and with this library you have 2 options, checkedColor and uncheckedColor, by default in checkedColor is green, but you can change it to what you want, for example, checkedColor={"#fff"} or checkedColor="#fff" try them, it apply for 2 options, good luck!
