Once we have finished updating invoice templates in TFS, we need to input them into a folder within the network to ensure they are used during the bill run.
First of all, ensure that you have updated the invoices in TFS, and have saved them, and checked them in
Then go to the loaction on your Local Disk where the updated invoices will be saved to via TFS. It will be somewhere like this;
C:\TFS\Billing Databases\Main\Invoice Templates
Open a new folder, and go to the location \LH-DELLSVR-02\Customer Data\Invoice Templates\New Invoices
Copy the updated invoice from your TFS location, and paste into the 'New Invoices' folder above
If the invoice is already there, it will ask you if you want to replace the previous version, click yes
If it's a totally new invoice for a new brand, it will copy directly

I'm building a web site with WordPress, and frequently need to replace a media file--specifically, a Java project exported from Eclipse to an archive, but the same happens with images. To retain the original file name, I "delete the file permanently" from the media library, then upload the revision.
Unfortunately, when I download the file via a link, I get the "deleted" version instead of the new one.
I have disabled the "Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders" option, so I know the file name is consistent over time.
How is it the "permanently deleted" files don't disappear? And why do they supersede their replacements?
Right now, my choice is to upload the revision without deleting the original; WordPress assigns a sequence number to the revision. I need to change links to match, and the downloaded file will contain the sequence number when used (which isn't very tidy).
This is WordPress 6.1.1.
I've had the same problem quite a few times. What I do now is just use the plugin called Enable Media Replace: https://wordpress.org/plugins/enable-media-replace/ and I don't really have to think about that issue anymore. Maybe this could be an option for you?
Otherwise I think you will have to go in to the database and manually remove the images unfortunately.

after searching a lot i got one simple solution.
Using Duplicator plugins or any other tool is either difficult or paid.
My simple solution is as follows
Backup and download all data from public html folder
Download the SQL database associated with the wordpress site.(in phpMyadmin you will find option of export database.)
Now upload the same files of public html folder to the public html folder of new hosting.
create a database with same name and import the tables from the downloaded SQL database.(in phpMyadmin you will find option of import.)
Now check the site if the domain is not changed
If you are changing domain name too by keeping the website same you need to follow few more steps
Download and place the interconnet/it tool in public html folder and follow the steps in documentation to use this tool.
case1- you are transferring site from one domain to another
if you are transferring from abc.com to xyz.com ins search and replace tool replace abc.com string with xyz.com .
case2- if you are changing the names only in website
if you are keeping the domain same but changing name of site e.g. ABC Technologies to XYZ technologies . Then replace ABC to XYZ
You can use this tool as per your need as it is applicable for database too.
There are a lot of ways of doing that. You can search a lot of materials on Internet but I would advise you to use this tool because I used in the past and it's reliable and very straightforward.

Just install WP migrate db plug-in in your current website. And export the database with your new URL. Then create a new database in your server and import the updated SQL file. Then edit your config.php with new database details. Finally point your new domian to this server
**should take complete backup (both files and databse) before making the above changes **
Here I will explain how to take back up manually and restore manually on another server with other domain name.
Backup: You need to take back up of site and database.
For site, you can take only back up of wp-content. It contains all data you need to resore.
STEP1 : cpanel-file manager-public html- (wp-content)- compress & save- export or
download zip file.
For database: phpmyadmin -> export databse. This gives you localhost.sql file.
These two files one .zip file and another .sql file are your back up.
(It is good to remember user id password of wordpress dashboard of this one)
Restore in another server on another domain:
After you get you new domain dns propagated on new server, open its cpanel.
Run wordpress script , see database name it is creating.
1) database restore:
MyphpAdmin->Database created by wordpress->check all tables->drop all tables.
Now your database is clean without any table.
In your loacalhost.sql file remove two piece of codes:
a)any signature like this (it should be on top)

-->Now, go to import and import, select your back up .sql file-> go. It will import all tables in your this database.
--> There is a database table now like wp_option, go there & edit siteurl (keep your new domain name), home (keep your new domain name) and admin email id.Very important.
Site Restoration:
1) Go to public html folder. Remove directory wp-content.
2) Import your back .zip file here and unzip.
3) You will find on wp-config.php file in public html folder, open it and update table prefix.
$table_prefix = 'wp_'; Here yo have to see what is your table prefix. Check database tables and see what prefix is in all tables. Here in this example it was 'wp_' , therefore kept it.
4) Now log in to you wordpress dashboard. It will take username of old site now and should take old password too. In case you forget password, change it and then open. Now wordpress will confirm that your database is changed, say ok and proceed.
Your site should be running on new URL now on another server.

I want to set a push notification for a folder in google drive using google api such that any changed made to any file inside that folder than i get a call -back.
What I know is that its not possible at this moment. Instead of that you can create changes hook and get informed if ANY file on drive is changed. After theat run file search request to find all files within given folder by passing its ID, ie:
"'<folder_id>' in parents"
where <folder_id> is id of the folder where you want to look for changes. You can then look for last modified date and compare to your own cache, for example stored on your server in cache files. If file is newer than do with it whatever you want (and of course update cache).

In my asp.net website, users can upload multiple files, which reside in 'upload' folder on server's hard drive. I am saving the files by renaming them with username + original file name
Example : if I upload file 'user.text' and my code is 1000, then the file will be saved in upload folder with name '1000_user.Text'. This is for identification of file against a particular user.
Now, when admin logs in application and selects a user, he should be able to see all files uploaded by him/her. Files should be in downloadable format to him.
How can I achieve the same? I have totally no idea, how to go for it ?
This is not how you ask a question on SO. Anyway already a piece of advice :
Store your files OUTSIDE of the webroot, and use a script in your website to get the files and render it to the user. This is for security reason : if someone manages to upload a malicious file, you don't want him to be able to execute it from the web.
Store file info and upload info in a database : who uploaded what and when ? Relying on file name isn't a good idea. You could also store the file in the database eventually (as a BLOB), but I prefer the good old filesystem
I can suggest you couple of ways based on feasibility. Approach 1 - If you can make database changes, when user is uploading a file you should save dynamically generated filename against the user in database. This way when admin logs in and wants to see all the files uploaded by user, you just need to make a database query and show them in a grid. When user clicks on the file name, you can fetch the file from harddisk and allow it to download to admin.
If database change is not feasible, your task will be more difficult. You will have to query in your directory with username in all the files. You can make use of LINQ to make this task little easier to you. Once you have got all the list, show it to admin.
I would recommend you to save metadata about the file on the database (like original file name and username). Then you could use this metadata to find the files that the user have uploaded. Give the files a file name on disk that is based on a unique ID in the database table. That way a user can upload several files with the same name. Make sure that this folder is not located within you application so that they are accessible with a url for security reasons.
The most recommended way to achieve this is to use a database, it is same as a module of Gallery where a user has albums and some pictures in albums. Admin can view each user's album and pictures in the album. you have to introduce two tables in your database. I having the category information of files being uploaded (master table) and other table having the info about the files itself (details table).
The other way is to create a hierarchal folder directory for each user for file categories in your application and then recursively read the directories and fields and then list them up to show them to application users. this would be costly i guess when number of files will increase.
In my website when deploying production most of the time I only need to deploy bin folder and just marker files if new pages added.Since my website contains gigabytes of images folder and static stuff not updates frequently, it takes ages to complete a one publish cycle in visual studio website publish feature is there workaround to overcome like excluding these static folders when website publishing

You could use the Web Site Copy Tool - deploying a web site using this tool only updates the files that have been changed.
After you connect to the remote site, each file will have one of the following statuses.
Unchanged
The file has not changed since the last time the file was copied.
Changed
The file has a timestamp that is newer than the timestamp taken when the file was last copied. If the same file has been changed in both the source site and the remote site and you synchronize these files, the tool prompts you to indicate in which direction you want to copy.
New
The file has been added since the last time the site was copied.
Deleted
The file has been removed since the last time the site was copied. These files are shown only if you select Show Deleted Files. If you synchronize a file that has been deleted in one site, the tool will prompt you to indicate if you want to delete the file from the other site.

I don't know if there is another way. But if you make the folder hidden in the file system, then it would not be published.
