Angular material has mat-expansion-panel which expands vertically, is there anything similar for horizontal expansion?

I always need a horizontal scroll bar in my website, when the page is scrolled.
I created the following sample with using material table.
I found a sample floatingScroll what i want, but it is using the jquery. How can I simulate the behavior with material table in React? I hope always display the horizontal scroll bar in the red box.
Thanks
I'm trying to create a widget that will act as a navigation bar. It is formed by some buttons that are separated by arrows.
I'm trying to replicate this picture in Qt Designer using labels with the arrow character → . The problem is that this character is bigger than it seems so when I resize the container, the lower part of the arrow disappears.
I have tried to use the vertical layout using a vertical spacer to align the arrow character as the same height as the buttons but the character was cut anyways.
I can't reproduce your example by using just the standard settings.
I added two buttons and a label to the horizontalLayout and set the label font size to 55. I also set the text alignment to horizontal center and vertical center.
You will always have more space at the top cause this is the content of the ascii char.
Maybe it's better to use a simple icon?
EDIT:
You can also add a label or a button with a pixmap/icon which is resizeing with the window:
I have a project that use multiple canvas elements. I have one canvas called gutter and then multiple groups of canvas that render as many times as needed. Each group contains three canvas layered over each other. I am using vue js and vuetify to work with all this. What I want is to place the canvas called gutter next to the first group of canvas. I have tried floating both elements to the left and that has not worked and variety of different div configurations and also display properties such as flex block and flex inline with no luck. I attached a picture to try and illustrate what I am doing, on the far left is the gutter that I want to move next to the other canvas. The blue boxes illustrate the groups. Each group has a name that renders on top of it.

Trying to create a layout for a dashboard with a persistant drawer here is what I have so far
So far added the side bar and top bar but the content is not displaying in the free space between. (body)
Should I be using the Grid resource to do this and say have the app header as the parent of the body. Or should I just create a seperate body that has margins to space away from the sidebar and nav. There seems it should be a smarter way where the components don't overlap each other than just adding margins etc.
I have the following problem:
I`m using with angular 2 the polymer library, more precise paper-slider.
I had to put my slider from css from horizontal position to vertical. The problem is that now if I keep a click on the slider and I move the mouse left-right the slider moves up-down, how can I change the axes of the slider in order to use my slider in vertical position.
Kind Regards,
A developer in need :)
maybe you can use the s-slider element, there you can set vertical property
