wordpress url issue after migration - wordpress

we have installed the WordPress in a vpn server without internet, after that exported the WordPress file there using all in one wp migration plugin. Now we have to access the server using public IP with internet but we are unable. Even we have changed the private ip with public ip in wp-config.php and in database wp_options table also. still the server and /wp-admin is not accessible over internet.
Is there anything that need to be done here or I am making any mistake?

Rename temporarily security related plugins, if installed
Check your .htaccess file
Make sure if you renamed the wp-admin URL using any plugin
Please post error message or screenshot, URL here

Wordpress:Can't able to access Wordpress after migrate from http to https

I am converting my wordpress site to https from http.I am using aws machine(windows OS) and i got the free ssl certificate,but when i tried to access my site it shows "Forbidden You don't have permission to access / on this server." this error message.I am tried almost all the solution(Deleting htaccess file,plugins uninstall,changing httpd.conf etc) but none of them worked.Any one help me i really need this one.
Can you try to test it by removing htaccess file?
Also from your database phpmyadmin go to wp_options table and from there verify that you have https urls.
Also if it does not works then tru to rename plugins folder and then test it.
Also add Really Simple SSL plugin and test your site.

Wordpress with LiteSpeed shows 404 when trying to access it by my new domain

I have created an instance of wordpress with open LiteSpeed cache in Digital Ocean droplets, it works fine if I have the IP configured in the Settings/General Site and Wordpress URL, but when I add my dns name, starts popping up 404 everywhere. The screen reads:
404
Not Found
The resource requested could not be found on this server!

I believe the problem is in this LiteSpeed, which don't seem to be clever enough to figure that there is a new domain configured? Unfortunately restarting the LiteSpeed web server did not help...

You have to access the OpenLiteSpeed Console, you can find the password for the console in the .litespeed_password file in the root's home directory on the server.
You also need to allow your IP address to be able to connect to the console, you can do this simply by executing ufw allow from <your_home_ip_address>.

When you're within the Console you can go to "Listeners", here you'll find two listeners, one named "Default" and one named "Defaultssl".
On each listener you have to modify the "Virtual Host Mappings" to use your domain under "Domains" - after this restart OpenLiteSpeed, and it should no longer return a 404 when you access the site via your domain.

301 redirect error with wordpress and apache

I've recently migrated a database from windows using bitnami (apache and wordpress) to a linux server (apache and wordpress). I'm able to access the website wp-admin, but every time I try to access the main site it repeatedly returns 301 errors.
I've tried disabling the .htaccess file (deleting, commenting everything out), but it still gets directed. I've disabled all plugins. I've looked into the themes I'm using but they don't have redirect url's like I've seen in other posts.
I'm wondering if the issue might be in how bitnami structures itself. the main documents are stored in website/wordpress/htdocs, whereas linux wordpress seems to store it directly in wordpress.
I've set sites-enabled home directory to
sitelocation/wordpress/htdocs
I've also set the wordpress address and site address to
http://website.com:80
What do I need to do to prevent the redirects, or set it up to work correctly?

Please change the Site URL and Home URL from database in wp_option table.
You need to mention new url in both section..
I had a trailing / on my siteurl which led to it not working. After removing that it worked.

Wordpress CSS and PHP not being applied

Im trying to host a wordpress blog off of an Amazon EC2 server instance and it was working fine, however when I associated it a new IP address all of the CSS for wordpress went away and i cant access any of the backend php scripts and get a 404 when i add the /wp-admin to try to access the backend navigation.
Does anyone know how to resove these issues and tell wordpress to use this new IP address?
During the initial installation, did you host the blog such as
http://192.xyz.xy.123/ ?
If yes, take an sql dump of database, search and replace old ip with the new ip.
Restore dump. And everything will be restored.

Wordpress on AWS EC2 - broken after assigning elastic IP

So, I got Wordpress installed and working just fine. I can access the site and the wp-admin via the public DNS that I get from the instance.
However, once I create an elastic IP and associate it with the instance, I can no longer access wp-admin and the home page style sheets and JavaScript files are not loaded.
I am attempting to access the site and the wp-admin using the new public IP from the elastic IP. Same thing is true if I try to use the public DNS from either the elastic IP or the EC2 instance.
When I view the page source I see that the reason things aren't loaded is because the URL for all of the assets (.css, .js. etc,) is pointing to the bold public DNS
When I disassociate the elastic IP things do not go back to working again.
I'm missing something but don't know what.

Your wordpress admin is already associated with your publicDNS. This is because, when you have logged-in the wp-admin console, you have created a new admin user. This information with respect to your publicDNS was saved in the mysql db. So you won't be able to access wp-admin from the elastic IP.
What you can do ?
You can log-in to your wordpress mysql and update all the references of the publicDNS to Elastic IP. Once it is done, you will be able to access the wp-admin from the static IP.
I run into the same problem. A quick fix is to hardcode your site URL into the wp-config.php which you can edit via FTP.
define('WP_HOME','http://yoursite.com');
define('WP_SITEURL','http://yoursite.com');
Worked fine for me.

Download the wp-cli with the following command
curl -O https://raw.githubusercontent.com/wp-cli/builds/gh-pages/phar/wp-cli.phar
Search and replace the old site URL in your WordPress installation with the following command. Substitute the old and new site URLs for your EC2 instance and the path to your WordPress installation (usually /var/www/html or /var/www/html/blog)
php wp-cli.phar search-replace 'old_site_url' 'new_site_url' --path=/path/to/wordpress/installation --skip-columns=guid
