ReferrerPolicy in Dynamicaly Generated crossOrigin Images - http

I have a dynamically created image which I'll later use in an html canvas element. Because I'll be exporting its dataURL I need to set its crossOrigin. I'd also like to be able to set the image's referrerpolicy, but it seems like in Chrome it sends my domain.

Is it possible to specify no-referrer for this type of environment?

Flex BitmapImage Wont Load From URL

i am making a news slider that loads content from a php script. The problem is when i put the url into the source of the BitmapImage for the thumbnail, the image never loads:

Based on your code above, maybe the value of the code below
XMLReader.newsItem[i].thumb;
is empty or null. Can you try debug your code and lets see what's the current value of it?

Images won't dynamically refresh

I am writing a Flex application to receive xml from an httpservice. That works because I can populate a datagrid with the information. The xml sends image pathnames. A combobox sends a new HttpService call onChange. This repopulates the datagrid and puts new images in the folder that flex is accessing.
I want to dynamically change the image without changing the pathname of the image.

This is my component.
I assign my Image sources using this code:

My biggest problem is that the images are not refreshing. I get the same image even though I've prevented caching from the HTML wrapper and the ASP.Net website. The image automatically loads in the folder and refreshes in the folder but I can't get the image to refresh in the application.
I've tried removeAllChildren(); delete(adTile.getChildAt(0)); and neither worked.
I would try using:
img.load(imageSource + i + ".jpg");
If that doesn't work, try appending a random number on the end ie:
img.source = imageSource + i + ".jpg?" + Math.random();
Have you tried to add id="img" into the mx:Image tag directly and remove adTile.addChild(img);
in the script?

Flex - get bitmap

Is it possible to get the bitmap data from a component using ActionScript?
I dynamically load an image.
onComplete I create a Flex Image component and add the loaded image to the source

Later I want to create a new Image component and get the bitmapData from the first Image.
I have tried this
canvas.getChildAt(0)
Which seems to give me the Image, but I can not figure out how to get the bitmap data.
canvas.getChildAt(0).bitmapData;
gives me a compile error "... undefined property"
Does anyone know how ot get the bitmap data so I can use it in my new Image component?

Cliff's answer will give you a screenshot of the Image; to get the underlying BitmapData for the image without doing a screenshot, you can try
Bitmap(image.content).bitmapData
This should avoid any filters as well.

Will this jscript run inside a .ASCX page?

Will this run inside an ASCX file in my ASP.Net project?
I can't seem to get it to work, just wondered if there was some particular thing missing? Do i need to include "runat="server""?

It appears that this JavaScript function is attempting to reference ASP.NET web control properties, which are not accessible from the client side. You can, however, reference the HTML entities that are output to the page by ASP.NET, along with their attributes.
Assuming your JavaScript code is code within the .ascx code, change this line:
var images = document.getElementById("GetQuote").getAttribute("ImageUrl");
To this:
var images = document.getElementById('<%=GetQuote.ClientID%>').getAttribute("src");
What this does is insert the client ID that ASP.NET creates for the GetQuote Image control so that it can be referenced from the client side. It also references the proper attribute of the HTML img element (src) that corresponds to the ImageUrl property of the server side Image control.
EDIT:
I noticed after seeing TheVillageIdiot's response (and reading your code a bit more closely, which I should have done initially) that you are trying to use the images variable as an array. It appears that you may be trying to match several image elements that contain the text "GetQuote" in their IDs (like GetQuote1, GetQuote2, etc.).
Assuming that you need to do this on the client side, and that you are not using a framework like jQuery, try this:

You don't need a runat="server" because this is code that will run on the client. It should work, but maybe you are having problems because you are referencing IDs on items that are asp.net controls? This would mean that your ID values would not match. If so you could solve this by using control.ClientID redndered into the JavaScript server-side to make them match.
If GetQuote is an aspx element then you need to replace it with <%= GetQuote.ClientID %> and ImageUrl with src like

.getAttribute("src");
Also images should be one string not an array of strings so your loop is also at fault. Try this one instead:
var image = document.getElementById('<%=GetQuote.ClientID%>').

Flex 3: Is it possible to use a remote image as the icon for a LinkButton?

We are creating a LinkButton programmatically and would like to set it's icon to an image retrieved from the remote server rather than something embedded within the SWF. The .icon property expects a Class but I can't figure out how to create one equivalent to an #Embed but from a dynamically generated URLRequest or URL String.

Why not just set the buttonMode of a mx:Image to true then add a click event?

I'm not sure its possible without using an embedded images with a linkButton

I think that instead of trying to set the style, you need to change the child object that holds the icon. You can access it by something like:
Var:Bitmap icon = myButton.getChildByName("upIcon") as Bitmap
It should be easy to replace the bitmapData in there with the one from a Loader.
If memory serves, you'll want to use button.setStyle('icon', img), where img is an image loaded via Loader class.

this may be too late of an answer but somebody might find it useful or as a starting point to a solution to your problem. Have you tried referencing your image icon as a class? I don't know if this will work for an image which is in a dynamic URL but this worked for me:

private const linkButtonIcon:Class;
Then in your code:
myButton.setStyle("icon", linkButtonIcon);
