Where + how to edit Wordpress CSS to create a dropdown scrollable submenu in Wordpress?

I am a writer and I have menu for my chapters list on my website of 30+ chapters and currently it annoyingly looks like this:
current website
As you can see it cuts off, and Wordpress annoyingly doesn't have a feature that turns it automatically scrollable. There are 30+ chapters and you have to keep scrolling, scrolling, scrolling down to see them all.
I have found some good looking solutions on StackOverflow but don't know where and how to apply them on Wordpress.
If anyone could talk me through literally step-by-step 1. where to find the CSS of my Wordpress site 2. the code I'll need 3. where to paste it 4. if there's anything I need to add to the navigation block's inidividual "Additional CSS Classes" part like so: Additional box in the corner and anything else I need to do. I would be super grateful!
One of my fears is just dumping a bit of code somewhere in the middle of editable CSS and screwing up my entire site! My CSS knowledge is super beginner so laymans terms is very much appreciated thanks :)
I tried using Plugins (those seem even more confusing than CSS) and have considered using Elementor too but I have Googled and YouTubed, trying to find a solution and nowhere has something as specific as what I'm looking to achieve frustratingly.
I tried following this youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=73XjO7hFZaw but didn't know what my "Target Element Selector" was, even when I went into Inspect on Chrome, all I found was this

¿How can I edit the main theme of my Wordpress theme with King Composer?

I'm trying to customize a theme that I bought for WordPress.
My knowledge in PHP is null, because I use King Composer as the editor that comes with the subject.
I am starting to modify parts of the theme, but the main cover, which I show in the capture, I can not change the background image of the beginning of my site.
They are two different images that alternate, and the text that each one has.
I leave the link to my site, I guess I offer them a lot so they can help me, but looking for the files I do not know how to edit, so I use King Composer.
I've seen tutórales, but they focused on blog and I did not find a way to solve this, like changing the images of the slider.
Sorry to offer you just this, if you give me more ideas so you can help me.
Thank you.

Your slider is controlled by a plugin called Revolution slider.
You should see an option for this in the wordpress admin menu on the main side bar to the left. You can change the image by finding the correct slide (as i presume there will be multiple) and editing it.
You can find the documentation here: https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/slider-revolution-documentation/

Needing guidance on image preview for wordpress

Hey guys I am needing some guidance on what this kind of image feature is called. I tried googling around but cant seem to find the correct name of the image feature. Its where there a bunch of small images surround a bigger image and when a smaller image is selected or hovered over then it will be shown on the bigger image place as seen here.
I am trying to add this feature into a clients website in wordpress but dont know the correct term to look for or if a plugin exists that allows me to do this sort of thing in wordpress.
Thank you all for your time!

Customizing product slider, WooCommerce

Iam somewhat of a newbie when it comes to wordpress. so bear with me.
ive been trying to make a simple slider that will display 3 catagories.
- books
- Boardgames
- office supplies
iam making it for someone who dosnt want a web store but just wanting it to display items in a meaningfull and dynamik way.
what ive tried is installing the WooCommerce plugin to make all my products and then installing the product slider by pickplugins.
I like the way it looks and i want to make two more. but i see no option to choose between different catagories in the slider options, so if i make 2 more sliders it will just display the same items (all of them).
the site is: http://nordborgboghandel.dk/
and the slider i want is something like there is on the frontpage.
anybody fixed a similar problem??
-Thanks!
Yes, I was once stuck into a same situation, in which we had to customize the slider. Basically you will have to play with the CSS and JS of the slider plugin which you have used to create the slider.
You can start of by having a look at the js and the css used by the slider. Refer the documentation of the slider if available, I am sure if they have any documentation you can have it customized easily by modifying some values in it. If not then you will have to check the JS code and try to hack it yourself to fit your needs.

Sidebar pushed below content in individual post (Wordpress)

I'm designing a blog in Wordpress using the Thesis Framework and there is an issue that I just can't seem to find a fix to:
Basically everything is fine on the main page, but when I go into any individual post, the side bar is getting pushed off and showing up right down the button of the page (below the comments).
It's pretty obvious that there is some kind of sizing/width issue and I've played around with a lot of the widths in firebug but just can't seem to find where it's going wrong. I can't find a difference between the main page and post pages either.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! A specific solution would be ideal because I've already spent a lot of time tinkering with it to try and address the issue.
Thanks in advance for any help!
I had this problem as well with the thesis framework. I found two reasons where it produced a similar mistake on my blog:
The first reason is that the sidebar + content area is bigger than you container. That would make the sidebar go below the the content. Make sure also that the content of the sidebar is also smaller than the sidebar. I had a Facebook box in the sidebar that was bigger, thus pushed the whole sidebar below the content.
An other reason was a plugin that I had installed. If you have any plugins installed try and see if one of those is interfering with the sidebar layout.
If that doesn't work you can also post a snippet of the code so that I can look at it.
I often have this problem when editing a page in html (text) mode and forget a closing tag, most notably a . If using tables, a missing , or similar will cause this.
So, in brief, make sure all your opening tags have a corresponding close tag.
Make sure the html is syntax-error free. I had the same problem and the culprit was a wrong closing tag (<b/>)
