Disable Firebase hosting github deploy - firebase

I'm trying to disable firebase hosting. I currently have GitHub deploys enabled, so when I push, firebase hosting gets another deployment.
I disabled hosting with
firebase hosting:disable
But then it re-enables when I do git push.
How do I disable this? I've searched and can't find a way to disable this feature -- only enable.
Also there's nothing related in
firebase -h

When initializing github auto deploy with firebase, the following things happen under the hood:
a github action is created (auto deploy)
whenevery you deploy with firebase deploy:hosting the action is triggered
whenevery you deploy with git push ... the action is triggered
Disabling the hosting with firebase deploy:hosting only disables the action when deploying from firebase, not from github. To remove that action from github too follow this guide:

Firebase CLI authentication problem in cloud shell

I'm trying to deploy a test web application using Firebase. I found this Google documentation to deploy a test application 1. I am able to clone a Github repository and enable Firebase on the project. The Firebase web app was created, and I used my Google account as an authentication method. I enabled the web app in Cloud Firestore, and everything seems to be working fine on the Firebase side.
My project is being deployed using GCP and running the application using Cloud Shell. The Firebase version installed is 9.22.0. I got to the point where I need to authorize the Firebase CLI with the following command:
firebase login
According to the instructions, I'm supposed to get the following message: “Allow Firebase to collect CLI usage and error reporting information?” and authorize by pressing Y, and enter to generate an URL. I need to paste the URL in the browser to authenticate with the account being used to generate a verification code and then use it in the Cloud Shell prompt.
Once I run the firebase login command, it never prompts me with “Allow Firebase to collect CLI usage and error reporting information?” It generates the link, and I paste it in the browser and I get the following screen:
I have tried cleaning the browser cookies thinking it was a browser issue, but I kept getting the same error. I have tried different browsers, but keep getting the same error. I recreated the project several times, but Cloud Shell never prompts me to allow Firebase. I have created the project in another GCP account, and we have the same problem. The instructions were followed according to the documentation, but I cannot move forward because it is not allowing me to authorize the Firebase CLI. Does anyone have any insight on the issue? Any help would be very welcome.

As mentioned in this documentation:
The firebase login command opens a web page that connects to localhost on your machine. If you're using a remote machine and don't have access to localhost, run the command with the flag --no-localhost.
Run the following command in your terminal:
firebase login --no-localhost
Tried the steps in the documentation you provided and I was able to launch the app successfully.

Can you move a firebase hosting site to a different project?

So, I was wondering, is it possible to move a firebase hosting site to a different project?.
I searched through the documentation, but I dont see anything anywhere that says how to do it, or if it is even possible
There is no built-in operation to move to a new project. But if you're deploying with the Firebase CLI, you can run:
firebase use <new project ID>
And then:
firebase deploy
To deploy the same content to the other project.
If you have your code for the site then you can just create a new folder and use firebase init hosting and initialize hosting in new project.
After that the process of deploying remains the same i.e.
firebase deploy --only hosting
PS: Also if you are using any custom domains, you would have to verify the ownership of the domain again in the new project.

Create Firebase "multiple websites" via CLI

I'm looking for a CLI command to automate the creation of multiple websites:
It looks like there is CLI hosting support but this is limited to "preview channels":
hosting:channel:create [options] [channelId] create a Firebase Hosting channel
hosting:channel:delete [options] <channelId> delete a Firebase Hosting channel
hosting:channel:deploy [options] [channelId] deploy to a specific Firebase Hosting channel
hosting:channel:list [options] list all Firebase Hosting channels for your project
hosting:channel:open [options] [channelId] opens the URL for a Firebase Hosting channel
hosting:clone <source> <targetChannel> clone a version from one site to another
hosting:disable [options] stop serving web traffic to your Firebase Hosting site
https://github.com/firebase/firebase-tools/tree/master/src/commands
I also couldn't find a relevant hosting command in the source code of Firebase tools. Any ideas?
From the documentation on adding additional sites it seems that adding sites right now is only supported through the Firebase console.
I'd recommend filing a feature request on the Github repo.

How to deploy google firebase functions using cmd?

I have a problem with a web hosting project. I created a new proyect in google firebase, and I executed the following commands:
C:\myproject>firebase init functions
C:\myproject>firebase deploy --only functions
But the site says this:
Site Not Found
Why am I seeing this?
There are a few potential reasons:
You haven't deployed an app yet.
You may have deployed an empty directory.
This is a custom domain, but we haven't finished setting it up yet.
How can I deploy my first app?
Refer to our hosting documentation to get started.
What could I do for show, at least, some text when an user go to my project url?
The way you now invoke the Firebase CLI, it will only deploy the Cloud Functions in your project. It will not deploy the web site. In fact, the way you've run it, it probably didn't even create a web site to deploy.
Initialize the project with:
firebase init
And answer the questions this shows.
If you want to deploy the web site, use:
firebase deploy --only hosting
More likely you should simply deploy everything to prevent running into this problem:
firebase deploy

How do I deploy the polymerfire demo to firebase?

I want to try the demo for polymerfire in firebase. To get it run locally I followed these steps. But what exact steps do I need to do to get it to run in firebase?
I figured firebase init and firebase deploy should be run but the browser only displays errors in the console. Must the polymer project be build in a certain way and what should the firebase "public" folder be?
All files from public folder will be deployed to your Firebase static web hosting, so you can access them though your Firebase hosting address like https://projectname-5gek53.firebaseapp.com/. This allows you to upload your web app.
You build your polymer app (I guess you need to run polymer build). You drag all files generated as production build to your public folder. Next, you run firebase deploy and after deployment process your app will be accessible from your hosting address as I mentioned above.
Edit: Polymerfire demo is actually not that simple to export, but I found a really nice tutorial step-by-step from Google Codelabs here is a link Build a Progressive Web App with Firebase, Polymerfire and Polymer Components
I just installed a new version of the polymer cli and Firebase cli. When I do a Polymer build, no build/bundled or build/unbundled is created.
I do get a build/default, which I can run with a firebase serve and a firebase deploy. So something has changed recently. just fyi
