Vue3 #click not firing first time - vuejs3

I have a filter search that shows matching strings of an array in a list when user types. When the user clicks on one item of the list, a method should fire. Everything works fine, but the problem is that it doesn't fire on first click but a on a second attempt on the same item of the list or any other it works. I can't figure out why is this happening. Here's my code.
<div
class="filter-form"
:class="{'visible': filterVisibility[index]}"
v-if="col.filter"
>
<div class="input-group">
<input
type="text"
class="form-control"
#keyup="filterColumn($event, index)"
#blur="toggleFilter(index)"
>
<button
class="btn btn-secondary"
type="button"
#click="toggleFilter(index)"
>Filtrar</button>
</div>
<ul class="filter-matches list-group">
<li
class="list-group-item"
v-for="match of filteredMatches"
:key="match"
#click="clickFilteredMatch(String(match), index)"
>match</li>
</ul>
</div>

How to create a list with actions using materialize-css?

I'm trying to create a list with checkboxes for collecting actions with materialize, but the input tag didn't get recognized by the pattern. Is this possible?
<div class="row">
<ul class="collection with-header" v-if="listaRoles.length > 0">
<li class="collection-header left-align"><h4> Roles do perfil </h4></li>
<li v-for="r in listaRoles" :key="r.id" class="collection-item">
<div class="left-align">
<span> </span>
<input type="checkbox" />
</div>
</li>
</ul>
</div>
You have to use the exact same structure as the materialize docs, otherwise your components won't work correctly. So in the case of checkboxes that is <input>, followed by <span>, and both of these wrapped in a <label>.
<label>
<input type="checkbox" />
<span>Red</span>
</label>
Any deviation from this will break the component.
EDIT:
Checkboxes inside li works perfectly fine, here a codepen to demonstrate:
https://codepen.io/doughballs/pen/KKpNrPy
The error is coming from somewhere else.

Add class to ian:accounts-ui-bootstrap-3 SELECT tag when rendered [Meteor JS + Blaze]

Meteor 1.6.1.1 is the latest version of my project. I am using package ian:accounts-ui-bootstrap-3 instead of accounts-ui. I have added a custom field as <select> in the code.
What I get on Screen is as below.
When I saw the HTML code, it is not adding class="form-control" to select tag.
below is the code when I inspect element on UI using Chrome.
<li id="login-dropdown-list" class="dropdown">
<a class="dropdown-toggle" data-toggle="dropdown" aria-expanded="false">Sign in / Join <b class="caret"></b></a>
<div class="dropdown-menu">
<div class="select-dropdown">
<label>State</label><br>
<select id="login-state">
</select>
</div>
<button class="btn btn-primary col-xs-12 col-sm-12" id="login-buttons-password" type="button">
Create
</button>
<button id="back-to-login-link" class="btn btn-default col-xs-12 col-sm-12">Cancel</button>
</div>
</li>
All I want is to add class="form-control" to the select tag dynamically when component loads on screen and it must look like below;
I have tried below code, but it is not working;
Template.HomePage.onRendered(function () {
document.getElementById('login-state').classList.add('form-control');
});
Well, I tried one way to achieve this is by using Template event as below,
Template.HomePage.events({
'click #login-dropdown-list': function(event){
//document.getElementById('login-state').classList.add('form-control');
$('#login-state').addClass('form-control');
}
});
As you can see, the component gets loaded inside the li tag with id="login-dropdown-list". I simply loaded the class on click event. Even the commented code works fine.
Is this a good solution? please let me know if there much better answer to this? If it works I will definitely accept and upvote the answer.

GTM: Cannot track click on menu elements

I want to capture all click events on the menu of my page.
I've setup a tag that will capture all click events on my page. It works with the trigger setup to "Click - All elements".
When I set up the trigger to specifically register only the clicks on elements of the menu var, nothing is detected. So, definetly, I'm doing somenthing wrong within the trigger.
EDIT 1:
this is the web page: www.chazki.com
Menu code:
<div class="collapse navbar-collapse" id="navbar-ex-collapse">
<ul class="nav navbar-nav navbar-right">
<li class="active">
<a class="new_service">Solicita un Chazki</a>
</li>
<li>
Faq
</li>
<li>
<p class="new_service new-service" style=" padding: 6px;"><a>Login</a></p>
</li>
<li>
<a class="btn btn-default btn-lg location_ac"><i class="fa fa-fw fa-spin fa-star"></i>Lima</a>
</li>
</ul>
<form>
<fieldset class="navbar-form navbar-left">
<input type="text" name="track-code" id="track-code" class="form-control" placeholder="Código de tracking?">
<button id="track-find-button" class="btn btn-default" type="button">Buscar</button>
</fieldset>
</form>
</div>
Try 1 on trigger:
Element ID: It's supposed to limit the clicks registered for only the div containing the menu.
I get this error in debugging mode:
Try 2 on trigger:
on Click ID.
Click ID error:
#
I could also use the ul tag for the trigger, as it is the only unordered list on the page.
Any hint is welcome. Thanks!
Basically I needed to understand the different variables in GTM. I've found Simo Ahava web very helpful in this regard.
https://www.simoahava.com/analytics/variable-guide-google-tag-manager/
Thanks to Simo, I also understood the benefits of usen "Match CSS Selector" option.
So my configuration ended like this:
Using:
Click All Elements.
This trigger fires on "Some Clicks".
"Click Element" -> "Matches CSS Selector" -> "#navbar-ex-collapse ul li a, #navbar-ex-collapse ul li p"
As I have li and a html elements, I needed to use 2 CSS selectors, separated by a comma.

Getting the value from a button text for thyme leaf

Ok, I have this somewhat complex piece of HTML that I have to integrate with. It is a button with a drop down (using aria) and I had to pass in a currency list and be able to select one of the dropdown elements (currency values) and update the button text with the selected value. I write a tiny bit of js and that works well. I use thymeleaf to pass in values to populate and that works well. I also need to read the values that were set from the post to the spring mvc controller but I always get a empty string for the value that I set via js.
here is the javascript
$(".currencyDropdown li a").click(function () {
var selText = $(this).text().trim();
var button = $("#currencyButton");
button.text(selText);
console.log("currency selected is:" + selText);
});
here is the html
<div class="col-sm-9 col-sm-offset-3 col-xs-12 form-row">
<div class="dropdown">
<button class="btn btn-default dropdown-toggle field-small"
type="button"
id="currencyButton"
name="currencyButton"
th:field="${pals.selectedCurrency}"
data-toggle="dropdown"
th:inline="text">
${pals.selectedCurrency}
<i class="fa fa-caret-down"></i>
</button>
<ul id="currencyDropdown"
class="dropdown-menu currencyDropdown"
role="menu"
aria-labelledby="currencyButton">
<li role="presentation"
th:each="currency:${pals.currencyList}">
<a role="menuitem"
tabindex="-1"
href="#"
th:inline="text">
${currency}
</a>
</li>
</ul>
</div>
What I am trying to read back in the spring mvc controller is the pals.selectedCurrency value and it is always empty. Something I am missing? I was playing around and tried setting value and field. In reality I want to read the inline text that my js inserts.
I think you must add a th:fragment on you button and change the text of the button via ajax from backing bean from server, not from javascript. It's something like this :
<form th:action="#{/PersonEdit/save(contract=${param.contract})}" th:object="${personBean}"
method="POST" th:if="${param.contract != null}">
... other form components
<div class="form-group">
<label class="col-sm-4 control-label"
th:text="#{person.edit.policy.tfoms}"></label>
<div class="col-sm-8">
<select class="form-control" th:field="*{tfoms}"
onchange="loadInsuranceCompanies()">
<option th:each="t : ${tfomses}"
th:value="${t.uidtfoms}"
th:text="${t.shortName}"
th:selected="${personBean.tfoms != null
and personBean.tfoms.equals(t)}"></option>
</select>
</div>
</div>
<div th:class="${#fields.hasErrors('insuranceCompany')}
? 'form-group has-error' : 'form-group'">
<label class="col-sm-4 control-label"
th:text="#{person.edit.policy.ic}"></label>
<div class="col-sm-8" id="insuranceCompaniesContent">
<select class="form-control" id="insuranceCompany"
name="insuranceCompany"
th:fragment="insuranceCompany">
<option th:each="i : ${insuranceCompanies}"
th:value="${i.uidinsurancecompany}"
th:text="${i.shortName}"
th:selected="${personBean.insuranceCompany != null
and personBean.insuranceCompany.equals(i)}"></option>
</select>
<div th:if="${#fields.hasErrors('insuranceCompany')}"
th:each="err : ${#fields.errors('insuranceCompany')}">
<span class="text-danger" th:text="${err}"></span><br/>
</div>
</div>
</div>
In my case I refreshing one dropdown via another.Then refresh this fragment via ajax on item selection
function loadInsuranceCompanies() {
var url = #{/PersonEdit/insuranceCompanies};
if ($('#tfoms').val() !== ) {
url = url + '/' + $('#tfoms').val();
}
$("#insuranceCompaniesContent").load(url);
}
I think the trouble can be because you using not a standard select as a dropdown.
Ok, I figured out a relatively simple answer to it. I have to use the html that was provided because of look and feel considerations from the customer.
so what I did was add a hidden input and set that from the java script.
$(".currencyDropdown li a").click(function () {
var selText = $(this).text().trim();
$("#currencyButton").text(selText);
$("#currencySelected").val(selText);
console.log("currency selected is:" + selText);
});
<input type="hidden"
id="currencySelected"
th:field="${pals.selectedCurrency}"/>
<button class="btn btn-default dropdown-toggle field-small"
type="button"
id="currencyButton"
data-toggle="dropdown"
th:inline="text">
${pals.selectedCurrency}
<i class="fa fa-caret-down"></i>
</button>
<ul id="currencyDropdown"
class="dropdown-menu currencyDropdown"
role="menu"
aria-labelledby="currencyButton">
<li role="presentation"
th:each="currency:${pals.currencyList}">
<a role="menuitem"
tabindex="-1"
href="#"
th:inline="text">
${currency}
</a>
</li>
</ul>
I see the correct values that were selected for my dropdown on the spring mvc controller and now I can get on with the rest of the stuff.

Data bind loop knockout js , if I want to show only 2 names at a time from a list and then clicking on a button next 2 names comes up

I want to show only first 2 things which are present in an array instead of all and then b y clicking on button next 2 names comes up till the last, Can you help me in correcting the code of knoctout js .
<div class="slide">
<button type="button" onclick="alert('Hello world!')" style="margin-top: -50px;margin-bottom: 1px;margin-left: 1020px;padding-right:5px;">Read more</button>
<ul data-bind="foreach:EventBE.WhoElseAttends">
<li >
<span data-bind="text:FirstName"></span>
<span data-bind="text:LastName"></span>,
<span data-bind="text:Company"></span>
</li>
</ul>
<span data-bind="if:EventBE.WhoElseAttends.length <0">No Attendees</span>
</div>
In Javascript
EventBE.displayCount = ko.observable(2);
EventBE.readMore = function() { EventBE.displayCount(EventBE.displayCount() + 2); };
In HTML
<button type="button" data-bind"click: EventBE.readMore,
visible: EventBE.displayCount() < EventBE.WhoElseAttends.length">Read More</button>
<ul data-bind="foreach:EventBE.WhoElseAttends.slice(0, EventBE.displayCount())">
This is just an example, you may also need to use a subscriber to reset displayCount when WhoElseAttends changes.
If your WhoElseAttends is observableArray, you need to fix EventBE.WhoElseAttends.length to EventBE.WhoElseAttends().length
