While trying to restart NGINX facing issues - nginx

My Nginx was masked, so I unmasked Nginx and added the unit file to /lib/systemd/sys folder. And when i tried to restart Nginx, " Failed to issue a method call: No such interface 'org.freedesktop.DBus.Properties' on object at path /org/freedesktop/systemd1/unit/nginx_2eservice " this error is coming.

How to fix "vagrant up" errors when trying to set up Trellis?

I've been trying to set up a Trellis local WordPress dev environment from the Roots stack. I did all the steps from the docs, have the recommended folder structure, downloaded all the dependencies, but I still get a few errors.
First I get some errors and warnings when I use "yarn" in my theme folder, as suggested here. They say to use the CLI from my host instead of Vagrant box, that's just the MacBook's terminal right? Or do I need a CLI from VirtualBox?
The second error happens when trying to call "vagrant up", and this is one that I can paste here as it's a bit more concise.
There was an error while executing `VBoxManage`, a CLI used by Vagrant
for controlling VirtualBox. The command and stderr is shown below.
Command: ["hostonlyif", "create"]
Stderr: 0%...
Progress state: NS_ERROR_FAILURE
VBoxManage: error: Failed to create the host-only adapter
VBoxManage: error: VBoxNetAdpCtl: Error while adding new interface: failed to open /dev/vboxnetctl: No such file or directory
VBoxManage: error: Details: code NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005), component HostNetworkInterfaceWrap, interface IHostNetworkInterface
VBoxManage: error: Context: "RTEXITCODE handleCreate(HandlerArg *)" at line 95 of file VBoxManageHostonly.cpp
After Googling this I got a lot of outdated suggestions to check my PATH and restart the VirtualBox, but these I tried and didn't help. I hope someone can help me set this up, thanks. :)

Problem while installing keystone for openstack (stein)

we are a group of french students in networks, and we need to get openstack working for a school project. We are curently facing an issue while installing keystone. After following the official openstack guide, when trying the service, we get the following error:
[root#localhost ~]# openstack project create --domain default --description "Service Project" service
Failed to discover available identity versions when contacting http://controller:5000/v3. Attempting to parse version from URL.
Unable to establish connection to http://controller:5000/v3/auth/tokens: HTTPConnectionPool(host='controller', port=5000): Max retries exceeded with url: /v3/auth/tokens (Caused by NewConnectionError('<urllib3.connection.HTTPConnection object at 0x7f60f19af9d0>: Failed to establish a new connection: [Errno -2] Nom ou service inconnu',))
tail /var/log/keystone/keystone.log
2019-10-03 14:24:35.943 4778 WARNING keystone.access_rules_config.backends.json [-] No config file found for access rules, application credential access rules will be unavailable.: IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/etc/keystone/access_rules.json'
We are installing the stein version
Does anyone know how to solve the problem? We can include some others log if needed. We are two who tried and get the same error.
Thanks for any help! :)
Well, the error is self explanatory.
You are missing a config file which governs access to openstack endpoints.
You can use copy it from unittest cases and put in /etc/keystone folder.
For your convenience here is url to file:
https://fossies.org/linux/misc/openstack/keystone-15.0.0.tar.gz/keystone-15.0.0/keystone/tests/unit/config_files/access_rules.json?m=t

Unable to start the App Server from the command line

I cloned Websphere application machine and changed the hostname by the wsadmin.sh script.
DMGR and Node started successfully but when I start the server I got this error:
ADMU0111E: Program exiting with error: java.io.FileNotFoundException: /opt/IBM/WebSphere/AppServer/profiles/AppSrv01/config/cells/CELL01/nodes/AppNode/servers/server01/server.xml (No such file or directory).
Note: I can start the server from the console only
The problem recovered after synced the node with master configuration and granted read/write permission for directive /opt/IBM/Webspere and its relative sub directives, Thanks all for your contributions and support.

Failure installing sbt: "Server access Error: java.security.cert.CertificateException:"

When I try to install error messages, it fails to download. I get error messages like this:
[error] Server access Error: java.security.cert.CertificateException: No subject alternative DNS name matching repo.scala-sbt.org found. url=https://repo.scala-sbt.org/scalasbt/sbt-plugin-releases/com.typesafe.sbt/sbt-pgp/scala_2.10/sbt_0.13/0.8.3/ivys/ivy.xml
I can confirm, when accessing via my browser, that the certificate installed for the domain repo.scala-sbt.org is actually the certificate for repo.typesafe.com, and this seems to be the source of the error. It doesn't appear to be a DNS issue as http://repo.scala-sbt.org/ (insecure) works.
Please see https://github.com/sbt/sbt/issues/2125 for the workarounds. Specifically "http" should not be used.
resolvers += Resolver.url("fix-sbt-plugin-releases", url("https://dl.bintray.com/sbt/sbt-plugin-releases"))(Resolver.ivyStylePatterns)
Edit: This issue is now resolved. No workarounds should be required.
As a temporary workaround, add the file ~/.sbt/0.13/plugins/temp.sbt with the following contents:
resolvers += Resolver.url("fix-sbt-plugin-releases", url("https://dl.bintray.com/sbt/sbt-plugin-releases"))(Resolver.ivyStylePatterns)
You'll still see the error, but sbt will be able to find the dependency for which it is searching when accessing https://dl.bintray.com/sbt/sbt-plugin-releases directly (the place to which repo.scala-sbt.org presently redirects).
Upgrading nss package on CentOS worked for me.
sudo yum upgrade nss

Nginx PHP (5.5.1) FPM strange errors

At the moment I'm experimenting with Nginx.
I got it working using the newest version installed via repo.
Everything works fine with Nginx standalone.
Then I installed PHP 5.5.1 via sources that I can run different versions and not affection the production webserver and php version. (Nginx was running on another port then 80 for testing purposes.)
Everything went fine. Compiled PHP 5.5.1 without errors, installed it, started PHP-FPM and changed the Nginx config to call PHP FPM when needed. My first test website worked perfectly with this version. Then I tried to get running another website I created. I've changed only the document root for that.
Then I got very strange errors:
PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function apache_request_headers() in [...]
Yes, not real an error... So I removed the function to test if the website works then smoothly when removing a function, which isn't available in PHP-FPM/FastCGI Mode.
Then another error showed in the logs when trying again:
PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ''INSERT ' (T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE) in [...]
After commenting out this variable (only for testing) another error occured:
PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file, expecting ')' in [...]
So I don't know why those 2 errors occured. The first one is of course of the changed system; function not available.
So my main question is: Why is my code causing these errors with PHP 5.5.1 in FPM mode?
The website works perfectly on my local dev server (PHP 5.4 and Apache) and production Server (Apache 2.2 and PHP 5.4)... I have NO code changed (except config files for db etc). So is someone knowing what can cause this issue?
If you need more information, just ask!
Edit:
Error 1:
$sql = 'INSERT INTO ' . TABLE . '
(name)
VALUES
("' . $name . '")
ON DUPLICATE KEY UPDATE name=VALUES(name)';
Error 2:
'TEXT' => text::parse($row['text']),
Problem solved.
PHP rebuilt via source and used newest version (5.5.2).
