Xamarin.Forms AppResources: When localizing, how to "look up" the default language translation at runtime - xamarin.forms

I have an XF app that I'm trying to provide multiple languages for using resx/AppResources files. However, I have a need to be able to access the English (default language values) at runtime for logging purposes. Basically the app has Activities that the user can complete. Each activity has a title that is translated. When an activity is completed by the user I want to log it too my server so I can see which activities are being used the most. Obviously I'd rather not log the Chinese titles.
What are the best way(s) I can retrieve the default language values regardless of what the App's current language is set to?
Regards,
Sean

On Android:
Locale.Default.GetDisplayLanguage(Locale.Default)
On IOS:
var te = NSLocale.CurrentLocale.LocaleIdentifier;

Type query_root must define one or more fields

First, thanks Hasura for incredible good product! I love it.
I have issue with derive action with Hasura Console. My use case:
I enable anonymous role for subscribe function (everybody can send email to subscribe)
I have configured permission on my subscribe table, everything is fine.
I want to validate the user input on server side, for example, validate email format. I have followed by this guide about derive action. I found no mistake here.
But I got the error "Type query_root must define one or more fields." when I hit "Derive action" at the first time.
According to this question, as I understand, I need to have object type for root query.
Of course, I will have object type for root query eventually. I can work around by giving some dummy queries for anonymous role. But I do not like that cheat anyway.
Any idea on that? Any help will be highly appreciated.

Xamarin Forms service to get the text of class android.widget.EditText when package is com.google.android.gm

Im using this example to get the package name of a target app. I trying to create a service in background that when user open gmail for example, I could get the text from the class android.widget.EditText.
I suppose that the service has to be active always checking if the user open the target app, then when user open this target app, my service has to get the text of the class EditText, if the field is focused.
There is no example on internet to do this.
Can you explain how to get this done, please?
Do you want to get other application's package name? Your example gets your application's name. That is different.
If you want to get other application's name, you need the android.permission.GET_TASKS permission, So that may be why you cannot find a related example.
As of LOLLIPOP, this method is no longer available to third party applications: the introduction of document-centric recents means it can leak personal information to the caller. For backwards compatibility, it will still return a small subset of its data: at least the caller's own tasks (though see getAppTasks() for the correct supported way to retrieve that information), and possibly some other tasks such as home that are known to not be sensitive.
please see this thread:GET_TASKS Permission Deprecated, So you cannot found related example.
If you want to get the current running application's name, you can use the ADB command to get it
adb shell dumpsys window | findstr mCurrentFocus
Here is running screemshot when I open chrome.

Kusto.Explorer - Authentication Trouble

I'm having trouble adding a connection in the Kusto.Explorer desktop app 1.0.3.949. I can login via Web UI but in the desktop app it gives me this error:
This normally represents a permanent error, and retrying is unlikely to help.
Please provide the following information when contacting the Kusto team # https://aka.ms/kustosupport :
DataSource='https://m1explorer.westus.kusto.windows.net/v1/rest/mgmt',
DatabaseName='NetDefaultDB',
ClientRequestId='KD2RunCommand;5723fa83-9dd5-48fe-a1ee-5d4ddb7f9cd9',
ActivityId='74b41f5e-be7c-46be-88f5-dae1a6d35c30,
Timestamp='2020-08-02T18:48:13.6846740Z'.
In other applications such as the Kuskus VSCode extension or even the Web UI, the problem seems to be that it uses the "common" tenant/authority id as a default. Is there a way to specify the tenant id when adding the connection? It says you can import an .xml file but I'm not sure where or how this can be generated.
Thanks,
Steven
Please try approach described at:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/data-explorer/kusto/tools/kusto-explorer#control-the-user-identity-connecting-to-kustoexplorer
The default security model for new connections is AAD-Federated
security. Authentication is done through the Azure Active Directory
using the default AAD user experience.
If you need finer control over the authentication parameters, you can
expand the "Advanced: Connection Strings" edit box and provide a valid
Kusto connection string value.
For example, users with a presence in multiple AAD tenants sometimes
need to use a particular "projection" of their identities to a
specific AAD tenant. Do this by providing a connection string, such as
the one below (replace words IN CAPITALS with specific values):
Data Source=https://CLUSTER_NAME.kusto.windows.net;Initial Catalog=DATABASE_NAME;AAD Federated Security=True;Authority Id=AAD_TENANT_OF_CLUSTER;User=USER_DOMAIN

Symfony 3 - How to change configuration values at runtime

What is the best practice way to handle changes to configuration parameters (kept in yml) that have to happen at runtime?
I am working on a site where the owner wants to change various settings in his admin back end.
For example, enabling/disabling the confirmation email and link sent by FOS User bundle when a new user registers for an account.
Thanks for your time
For those operations you need the use Compiler Pass.
https://symfony.com/doc/current/service_container/compiler_passes.html
Here sample Custom Compiler pass;
https://symfony.com/doc/current/components/dependency_injection/compilation.html#creating-separate-compiler-passes
Here is a good example for compiler passes; ( Usually using with service tags )

Admin role is not recognized in Facebook app in R with the Rfacebook package

I have created my first Facebook app in R. Its purpose is solely to retrieve marketing data from my Facebook pages. So far I have created this (no authentication problems):
require("Rfacebook")
load("fb_oauth")
## Start retrieving insight from VivaraDE
rawinsightsDE<-getInsights(object_id= "my_id", token = fb_oauth,
metric="page_impressions", period = "days_28", version="2.6")
When running this, R does return:
Error in FUN(X[[1L]], ...) :
No data available. Are you the owner of this page? See ?getInsights.
I have an administrator role in my app (obviously) and an admin role on the page desginated by my_id.
I suspect I will have to alter some config somewhere. What am I missing?
You need read_insights permission from the page admin (you in this case), before you can access these metrics.
Any more common permissions I need to include, so I won't stumble upon some more rejections?
Nah, don’t ask for permissions “just to be on the safe side” – that will only give problems in review (if the app is supposed to be used by the general public at one point?), if they see you asking for permissions without actually using them.
I’d rather suggest you use Graph API Explorer first to test out the request you want to make; its debug feature usually displays a message in such cases as to what permission is missing to get the requested data.
