I am new to robot framework . My automation test has a step to download a file from web .
How can I check the file is downloaded successfully to my local?
I am using chrome and firefox browser.
You can check file by using OperatingSystem library. For exaple you can use keyword like:
Wait Until Created
or
File Should Exist
There are more keywords you can find useful, check the docs:
https://robotframework.org/robotframework/latest/libraries/OperatingSystem.html
I did following and it worked fine for me:
After Clicking on download , I created a directory in my robot framework and specified that path for storing the downloaded file and later verified in that path that file is present

I want to build my project from TFS Azure(VSTS).
I have made one project which is under Asp.Net Core.
I have made Build definition with Asp.Net Core Template and given the path for restore like **\*.csproj but I am not sure about this path or not?
I have tried many options like **\admis.csproj and some others, but I have faced the same error as the one on the following image:
I am using Asp.Net Core 2.1. Any ideas?
Just check your Workspace mappings in Get sources step, make sure you have mapped the source directory which included the solution or project file *.csproj:
Please check!
1) Server path should be: $/YourDevOpsProjectName/YourBranchName/TheRestPathUntil .csproj file
As I see on your screenshot, your path should be $/0424Test/NetCoreApp/NetCoreApp (I'm assuming that your .csproj file is there).
2) I had the same problem, because when I tried to Queue build for my project, in Source version I set 1 and the process of the queue tried to take 1 source code version, that of course not exists.
If Source version's value is empty, it try to get the last version of your source code
3) Use **/*.csproj as "Path to project(s)" for every task in your Agent job.
Please check!
Server path should be: $/YourDevOpsProjectName/YourBranchName/TheRestPathUntil .csproj file
So I have been working with the free version of JWrapper for some time now and have been quite pleased with the results; however, I have now purchased a license and would like to use it but I am unable to find the method with which to activate my JWrapper. I do not use the graphical interface version of JWrapper; rather I have created a xml installation file and pass that directly via commandline to JWrapper for building. Is there a special xml tag for specifying the license location? I was unable to find this information on JWrapper's homepage or support docs.
I received an answer from the support team. In order to use the license without using the JWrapperApp gui to build your application you will simply have to have the jwlicense.txt file in the same directory as your jwrapper.jar
After some tests it appears that the jwlicence.txt file must be in the current directory. So the best is to have all the files (jwrapper jar, jwrapper.xml and jwlicence.txt) in the same folder and run the compiler from that folder.
I've downloaded sqlite-netFx-source-1.0.94.1.zip from SQLite website.
However, when I opened the SQLite.NET.2012.sln and noticed that the project System.Data.SQLite.2012 was empty, none of the source files (eg. SQLiteConnection.cs) was included in the project. (These files did exist in the file system but they are not included in any project of the solution.) The project can be built successfully and the System.Data.SQLite.dll could be generated. Not sure where did its content come from.
I was totally confused that how this could happen? Can any body help me? I want to modify the SQLiteConnection class and recompile the System.Data.SQLite.dll. Thanks.
There must be something missing from SQLite source code for the Visual Studio 2012 to parse the csproject file correctly.
After manually change the csproject file's xml content. I've successfully included the files into the project and built successfully. The DLL generated can be used then.
I am writing robot tests for web testing using Robot Framework with SeleniumLibrary (a test library) , one of my test involves uploading a file from the desktop by clicking on a"Browse" button on the webpage and using the windows file explorer window that pops up to navigate to and select the file. I have downloaded Autolt library but not able to figure it out which keyword is to be used.Any sample testcase is more helpful.
The Choose File should work the way you want.
If that doesn't work, try Press Keys to directly type the path to your input.
i have a Air Project in which i have added three extenal source folders.
but when i reopen project or strat flash builder again i get icon on those folder like this
but when i open the configuration for that project and try to validate the path and adding it again i get message like this
but the path is valid. proof is this pic
what could be possible error,,, is there any way that i when ever re-open project i get no warning and able to navigate through the linked source code. now i am doing it
1- deleting on of the linked folder
2- again adding that folder.
as for quick:
install flas builder 4.1
2.imort that project into workspace
3rd is using maven ;)
check your project files,
.actionScriptProperties
.flexProperties
.project
make all of them writeable. this issue occur when you get code from Visual Source Safe that the files are copied to local machine in read-only mode.
