create-next-app does not work, get internal server error - next.js

Need some advice on this. I have initialize a whole new project by using create-next-app:
npx create-next-app nextjs-app
I was able to start the project by calling npm run dev. This is what i have in the terminal when run on the development server:
ready - started server on http://localhost:3000
However, i get internal server error when navigate to localhost:3000. There is this error on the terminal:
Error: Invalid hook call. Hooks can only be called inside of the body of a function component. This could happen for one of the following reasons:
1. You might have mismatching versions of React and the renderer (such as React DOM)
2. You might be breaking the Rules of Hooks
3. You might have more than one copy of React in the same app
I am running on node v12.16.3 and npm v6.14.4

Using Azure static web app with a Quasar Project

I thought it would be pretty simple to host a vuejs quasar project in azure static web apps but I cannot even seem to do the build process from github to publish the website. I can do quasar dev and quasar serve locally and all works great. It is just the assets do not seem to load and trigger a build error for pushing to github/azure. My error comes out as follows:

I have not found much info on doing a quasar project inside azure web apps so any advice would be helpful. All the tutorials I have found and gone through do not have these issues and I really do not have a complicated project that deviates from the standard quasar project.
EDIT:
the issue is actually my image paths. I am using with src="~assets/imgs/embroidery.jpg" where ~ must be an alias setup in quasar. Works for components in quasar but not for raw img tags. If i use a relative path like ../assets/imgs/filename.jpg it still draws an error on build. However, if i do /assets/imgs/filename.jpg and put the assets folder in public it works. I dont want to do this however so how should i put the paths for images in my components if not a vue-component per say?

Next.js example takes a long time to compile due to Inter google fonts

I'm trying with the trivial next.js example blog from their tutorial. However, when I access the page, I get the following situation:
$ npm run dev
> nextjs-blog#0.1.0 dev /Users/<redacted>/tmp/nextjs-blog
> next dev
ready - started server on 0.0.0.0:3000, URL: http://localhost:3000

warn - Fast Refresh had to perform a full reload due to a runtime error.
wait - compiling / (client and server)...

event - compiled client and server successfully in 152.9s (195 modules)
error - Failed to download `Inter` from Google Fonts. Using fallback font instead.
warn - Fast Refresh had to perform a full reload due to a runtime error.
I am not sure why it hangs for two minutes and why it can't download the google fonts. I am behind a proxy, so I suspect that could be a factor, but I cannot find anything on how to set up a proxy for next.js in the configuration (assuming the actual problem is that).
Note that HTTP_PROXY and HTTPS_PROXY are set correctly.
I'm running with these:
"next": "13.0.7"
npx create-next-app#latest nextjs-blog --use-npm --example
GitHub Link
I tried as suggested to run npm run build, and I get the following:
$ npm run build
> nextjs-blog#0.1.0 build /Users/xxx/tmp/nextjs-blog
> next build
info - Linting and checking validity of types
info - Creating an optimized production build

npm ERR! This is probably not a problem with npm. There is likely additional logging output above.
The logs file does not give more info than this.
Same issue, I suspect it's because #next/font doesn't respect HTTPS_PROXY
environment variable. It's really frustrating for a new user (behind a proxy) who read the fantastic docs but cannot even run a minimal create-next-app project (at least the default index.js).
I Disconnected with the VPN and it solved this problem.
some solutions
solution 1
just remove the #next/font/google module, if you don't need it.
import Head from 'next/head'
import Image from 'next/image'
- import { Inter } from '#next/font/google'
import styles from '#/styles/Home.module.css'
- const inter = Inter({ subsets: ['latin'] })
solution 2
if you are using a VPN, quit your VPN and try it again.
As #ashwani-panwar suggested.
It works for me.

I had this same issue, but I wasn't behind a proxy, after a lot of code testing I discovered the fault was from #next/font/google, it stuck on compiling /page and didn't show an error. A temporary solution I found is to use a VPN service to change your IP address, there seems to be a network request issue when Next gets the fonts from the server.
Update
visiting https://fonts.google.com seems to indicate whether the issue is from Google's servers or something else, if #next/font/google is causing a slowdown visiting the fonts page ussually hangs too.

Unable to create web-components by using vue-cli and vue3

I am trying to get web-components work inside vue3 project.
I did following steps. (Try to make super simple way)
I made a new project on vue-cli.
I chose vue3 preview.
After that I tried to execute script, which should generate web-components from existing project components.
vue-cli-service build --target wc-async 'src/components/*.vue'
I get following error:
error in ./src/components/HelloWorld.vue?vue&type=template&id=0dfd15f1&bindings={"label":"props"}?shadow
Module build failed (from ./node_modules/thread-loader/dist/cjs.js):
Thread Loader (Worker 0)

at JSON.parse (<anonymous>)
at Object.TemplateLoader (C:\git\vue-tests\footest\node_modules\vue-loader-v16\dist\templateLoader.js:37:154)
# ./src/components/HelloWorld.vue?vue&type=template&id=0dfd15f1&bindings={"label":"props"}?shadow 1:0-424 1:0-424
# ./src/components/HelloWorld.vue?shadow
# ./node_modules/#vue/cli-service/lib/commands/build/entry-wc.js
I tested this scenario with vue2 starting template and everything works. Is there something what I dont understand correctly or is it so that this is not working with vue3.

Angular ERROR: PostCSS received undefined instead of CSS string

Trying to build an Angular project and I'm getting the errors below. This project built fine last week. I made some changes to other projects that use the Dlls from this project, but no changes to this project. I already spent a lot of time troubleshooting it with no luck and appreciate any help.
ERROR: PostCSS received undefined instead of CSS string
An unhandled exception occurred: PostCSS received undefined instead of CSS string
This can sometimes happen if node-sass was compiled for a different version of Node.js than you're currently running (ie if you've recently changed your Node.js version). You can fix that with:
npm rebuild node-sass
if you are using webpack, and trying to use sass-loader, also add sass
I had this same issue when attempting to test an Angular library, and the issue was I had [``] instead of [] in the styles property of my component metadata.
Wrong
#Component({
selector: 'my-input',
template: `
<input
... />
`,
styles: [``],
Right
#Component({
selector: 'my-input',
template: `

... />
`,
styles: [],
I had similar problem. I was trying to build an angular library and the message below appeared:

I was using gulp-run to execute the command ng build library-name --prod. But, executing the command ng build library-name --prod directly on the terminal, the log error was smaller, but similar too.
The problem was in one component. The component had one styleURL (Angular component decorator), like this:
...component.css
but, the library uses scss. So, I changed the path to:
...component.scss
and I executed the command 'ng build library-name --prod'. So, the error didn't appear again.
I was using NVM v0.35.2 (allow to have more than one NodeJS version installed in my machine); NodeJS v12.18.2; Ubuntu x64 18.0.4 LTS and Angular CLI 9.1.9.
I faced the same situation now and the command that helped me is -
npm i node-sass -D
Check the node version, see if the version of node changes cause this problem. I use node version 16.14.2 which occured this error, after switch to 12.16.1 it works well. Just check your node-sass and node version will find a way out.
This can happen due to change in version of node. I had same issue with a NUXT app. What I did was
using yarn, in the root directory of your project, run yarn. But if you're using npm run npm install
start your project again.

Integrating Apollo to meteor app

When I'm trying to integrate an apollo server to a meteor app I get errors as soon as I try to open graphiql. If I create an express app and connect it with webapp.connectHandlers, and put apollo server to one of that express app's routes, thing work, but they don't work in "meteor way", which I would really like to have, since I would get access to the user object, authorization etc.
Error, which I see in graphiql as soon as it loads:
Error: Schema must be an instance of GraphQLSchema. Also ensure that there are not multiple versions of GraphQL installed in your node_modules directory
stacktrace:

server code:
import {makeExecutableSchema} from 'graphql-tools';
import {typeDefs} from './schema';
import {resolvers} from './resolvers';
import { createApolloServer } from 'meteor/apollo';
export const schema = makeExecutableSchema({
typeDefs,
resolvers
});
createApolloServer({
schema
});
Everything seems legit and works with express, but not with meteor. What is the reason? How can I fix it?
The current version of meteor/apollo is out of date with the latest apollo npm packages. https://github.com/Swydo/ddp-apollo is up-to-date and does the integration in a "meteor way" 😊
Also ensure that there are not multiple versions of GraphQL installed in your node_modules directory
If this is the problem, it would be solved by
rm -rf node_modules/*
npm install
