I have an application written in web2py using fullcalendar scheduler (licensed) 3.4.0.
I don't know what actions I need to do to:
install new fullcalendar framework on my application
how to "adapt" the application to the new framework
I don't understand if I can use jQuery or not in the new framework...
I'd like to have like a guide to do this step-by-step..
Thank you

I have SPA application using asp.net core and angular 5 (typescript) and i'm looking for universal datagrid. I found https://www.npmjs.com/package/angular2-datagrid but it is not maintained now. There are some more paid datagrids but i'm looking for open source. How do you create datagrids in Angular SPA applications
you should try https://www.ag-grid.com/
Supporting Open Source
For others who may find this helpful...
Clarity is a third party open source component library for angular created by VMware. The data grid is full featured. I have added it to the core 2.2 spa template pretty easily by following the getting started instructions on clarity. You may need to upgrade your cli and angular version to use the newest clarity version but I found it worth it.

I'm looking for guidance on adding Angular (specifially the latest version of 4.0) to an existing ASP.NET WebForms project. I'm using Visual Studio 2017 and the .NET Framework version is 4.6.2.
I recently explored the official template project for Angular with ASP.NET Core but unfortunately since the dependencies, npm/NuGet packages came already set up for me I don't know how to add the proper, latest and greatest packages and extensions to an existing project. Not to mention that I'm using a completely different version of ASP.NET.
Any help is appreciated, Thanks!
UPDATE: I thought I should add more details. I specifically want to end up with Angular and at least webpack, Hot-module-replacement-middleware or some equivalent, BrowserLink, Karma + Jasmine and I want Angular to be using the latest TypeScript. This should make my question more specific I think.
Consider using the Angular CLI to build your Angular application and some editor such as VS Code that is friendly to the Angular CLI.
Consider not adding it to your Web Forms project and instead keeping it separate with its own functionality.
It can still communicate with whatever backend (Web API) you have.
Hello I am am looking for instructions using yeoman app generator or a template of the minimal amount of code to create a web application that integrates both Entity Framework Core and Angular 2/4.
Preferably the answer provided would use the yeoman app generator. Also I do not mind installing any other necessary tools to achieve this objective.
So far, I haven't find yeomen generator for all three packages - ASP.Net Core, Entity Framework Core and Angular.
However, there is an official generator template aspnetcore-spa for ASP.Net Core and Angular. Note: current generator is updated to Angular 4, although it said 2.
npm install -g yo generator-aspnetcore-spa
cd some-empty-directory
yo aspnetcore-spa
NOTE: It requires dotnet SDK version 1.0.0 or later. If you have old version, it'll prompt you to update your dotnet SDK first when you run yo aspnetcore-spa.

After installing ASP.NET and Web Tools 2012.2 I am unable to see any new features (e.g. new MVC4 SPA templates).
Initially, I installed via Web Platform Installer and after it didn't work, I uninstalled everything.
I then tried installing 2 MSI individual packages mentioned in Release Notes > Installation Notes. After successful installation I am still unable to see any new features.
My platform is :
Microsoft Visual Studio Ultimate 2012
Version 11.0.60115.01 Update 2 CTP
Microsoft .NET Framework
Version 4.5.50709
Any ideas?
Clarification
I am expecting new templates to show under
New Project -> Visual C# -> Web -> ASP.NET MVC 4 Web Application (click ok) -> (shows only original 8 templates)
The ASP.NET and Web Tools 2012.2 Update contains only one SPA template.
If you want to have the other SPA templates (like HotTowel) you need to separately install them: Know a library other than Knockout?
From Announcing release of ASP.NET and Web Tools 2012.2 Update: here are some links for the templates:
If you don’t want to use the new Knockout template there are 4 new
community-created templates. These templates were built using the
improved Custom MVC Template support:
BreezeJS template that uses BreezeJS and Knockout for data binding and templating
Ember template uses the latest version of Ember and Handlebars
DurandalJS template is built using the new MVVM library DurandalJS as well as Knockout
Hot Towel uses BreezeJS, DurandalJS, Knockout, require.js and Bootstrap
IMPORTANT
These MVC templates have been deprecated and don't work at all in VS 2013 (or after VS 2012.2 for that matter). Please don't use them.
Sadly, they will not be updated because the VSIX approach behind them has fallen out of favor ... mostly because it is far to difficult to write and maintain.
We suggest that you get started by following samples and videos. You can learn a lot from John Papa's two courses "Building Apps with Angular and Breeze - Part 1" and "...Part 2"
Somebody allready installed MVC 3? I have Windows 7 + VS 2010. Trying to install with Web Platform Installer,- its show me "OK" but there isn't Web MVC3 Application in New Project template =\
Somebody allready installed MVC 3?
Yes.
Try downloading the installer and running it locally. Make sure you have removed any previous RC versions you might have installed. The new project template shows when creating a new Web Application (not Web Site).
