This seems to be a recurring issue:
JavaFX mp3 playback Ubuntu 14.04
JavaFX mp3 playback became unsupported in Ubuntu 14.10
https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=178503
After updating from Linux Mint 18 to Linux Mint 20, the creation of MediaPlayer for this file fails (the locator uri is on the same file system) due to ERROR_MEDIA_AUDIO_FORMAT_UNSUPPORTED. Loading a *.wav file works though and from that I get this debug output:
Debug (0:00:05:544): Creating AudioClip for URI file:/home/.../target/classes/sound/organ.wav
Debug (0:00:05:591): Enabled JFXMedia platforms:
- com.sun.media.jfxmediaimpl.platform.java.JavaPlatform
- com.sun.media.jfxmediaimpl.platform.gstreamer.GSTPlatform
Debug (0:00:05:591): JFXMedia supported protocols:

http
https
Debug (0:00:05:594): Getting content types from platform: com.sun.media.jfxmediaimpl.platform.java.JavaPlatform#3a36fa07
Debug (0:00:05:594): Getting content types from platform: com.sun.media.jfxmediaimpl.platform.gstreamer.GSTPlatform#3e10dcb9
Debug (0:00:05:594): JFXMedia supported content types:
audio/x-aiff
audio/mp3
audio/mpeg
audio/x-wav
video/mp4
audio/x-m4a
video/x-m4v
application/vnd.apple.mpegurl
audio/mpegurl
The protocol here is file and the mime type is audio/mpeg which are both in the supported list above. Obviously the platform that is used is GSTPlatform.
As I understand it this is a problem with a missing codec. However I made sure that these libraries are present:
libavutil56
libavformat58
libavcodec58
Did I miss a library that is required?
Is there a way to have an additional Platform that would work?
What needs to be done to change the content type to be recognized as audio/mp3 instead of audio/mpeg and would that possibly solve the issue.
As mentioned above the same code could initialize the player with this file on Linux Mint 18, so it cannot be an issue with the code itself, but must be in the environment.

First I am new to the use of GLUON mobile. I have developed an application in JAVAFX which I eventually want to port to an android device. At this stage I have just been reading as much as I can an viewing Gluon tutorials. I have followed the steps as per https://docs.gluonhq.com/#_run_the_application using initially the default MultiViewProjectFXML. hence the default POM.
I have no issues running the app via javafx:run.
When I do a mvn -Pandroid client:build I get the below error in which the path can't be found:
Fatal error:java.util.MissingResourceException: Can't find bundle for base name com.gluonapplication.views.primary, locale en_US
I have no doubt made a finger fault somewhere. I have graalvm-ce-java11-21.0.0 along with Java 11. In one tutorial I noted that when mvn -v was run you see reference to graalvm. I see Java version: 11.0.10, vendor: Oracle Corporation, runtime: /usr/lib/jvm/java-11-oracle.
Please let me know if you require any other details in order to assist. Thanks in advance

I know this question has been asked multiply times before but none of the solutions helps in my case.
I successfully did this no problem 3 months ago but am getting stuck now without changing anything which baffles me a lot and i really don't know what to do!
1:basic info:
win 7
Rselenium standalone 3.13.0 (tried 3.9.1 not working,used to work 3 months ago)
chrome version v64.0.3282.140 (32bit)
chromedriver 2.37 should be compatible.(also tried 2.38, 2.39 not work)
(I even updated chrome to 67 and use chromedriver 2.40 not work and then downgrade back)
2:launch Rselenium:
java -Dwebdriver.chrome.driver="C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chromedriver.exe" -jar D:\selenium-server-standalone-3.13.0.jar
up and running no problem see the bottom pic-cmd snapshot
3:Rcode:
remDr <- remoteDriver(remoteServerAddr = "127.0.0.1"
, port = 4444
, browserName = "chrome")
remDr$open()
3 months ago it would launch a chrome page, but now the error shows:
Selenium message:Unable to create new service: ChromeDriverService
Build info: version: '3.13.0', revision: '2f0d292', time: '2018-06-25T15:32:19.891Z'
System info: host: 'A-PC', ip: '192.168.16.2', os.name: 'Windows 7', os.arch: 'amd64', os.version: '6.1', java.version: '10.0.1'
Driver info: driver.version: unknown
Error: Summary: SessionNotCreatedException
Detail: A new session could not be created.
Further Details: run errorDetails method
I am not sure if it's because it doesn't detect the chrome version or the chromedriver version? But when I type chromedriver -version it shows the version is 2.37.
Please help!

I have had RSelenium fail with messages like that. I don't know the cause, but what worked to fix it was to delete all the downloaded driver files. On MacOS, they are in the ~/Library/Application Support/binman_* directories.
The next time I ran it, they were reinstalled automatically, and things worked fine again for a year or more.
Had the same issue. Yesterday everything was working fine, today also this Selenium message:Unable to create new service: ChromeDriverService error.
I saw a new chrome driver had downloaded overnight (on windows can be found in AppData/Local/binman/binman_chromedriver/win32/ - see picture below).
Deleting it did not help for me, because the non-working driver would be redownloaded again. It is not very pretty, but what worked for me was copying the chromedriver.exe file from the 2.42 folder into the 70.0.3538.16 folder.
I only had this issue with windows 8.1. On windows 10 the new driver did not cause issues.
I have a Particle Photon which I'm trying to setup. I've tried flashing code both from the web IDE, and locally and it always times out. The device is connecting as it can be seen in these pictures:
The web IDE does not give me much information. It only says "Request Timed Out". This is what I get when I try to flash an .ino code
MacBook-Pro:Desktop User$ particle flash ABCDEFGH123456789 sketch_jun09a/
Including:
sketch_jun09a/sketch_jun09a.ino
attempting to flash firmware to your device ABCDEFGH123456789

And when I try to flash a firmware.bin file this is what I get:
MacBook-Pro:Downloads Usesr$ particle flash --usb firmware.bin

I've seen online that the firmware.bin file seems to be compiled for the Particle Core, and not the Photon, so the device does not allow the code to be flashed. How should I compile the code for it to work? Is there any other solution to this problem? Thank you in advance.
You won't be able to flash a Core firmware to a Photon (they have different architecture and firmware layout). To compile the code for photon you can also use the CLI:
$ particle compile photon sketch_jun09a/
the resulting binary can be flashed using the CLI the same way you did.
To figure out the failed over the air flash I would recommend contacting the support.
I am running Robot Framework 2.8.7 (Python 2.6.6 on win32) on my laptop and VM
Laptop: Windows 7 Enterprise
VM: Windows Embedded Standard
The post command works in Postmon for laptop and VM
however when I run a test case post command from Laptop, the Post works fine.
The VM test case Post command gives a response of 400. The 400 response is a bad request.
Both Laptop and VM have the same environment variable settings, same Post test case files.
This is the Post command:
#
${tmp} Set Variable Basic${SPACE}dmVyaXNlcTpWZVJpU2VRNTc0Lg==
${headers}=
... Create Dictionary Content-Type application/json Authorization ${tmp}
#
# read the raw data
${file_data}= Get Binary File ${jFileName}
Log To Console ${file_data}
Log *Posting Data*: ${file_data}
${result}= Post Request webapiuri / data=${file_data} headers=${headers}
Any idea why the VM robot framework response is a 400 (Bad request)?
Solved the problem by uninstalling a current version of robotframework-requests and installing an older version 0.3.8 robotframework-requests
For some reason, the newer version would change the way the json file was being sent to the Tomcat. Now it works great! :)
pip uninstall robotframework-requests
pip install robotframework-requests-0.3.8.tar.gz

UPDATED: Took everyone's advice and decided plone.app.registry and 4.1.1 were not the issue, question is, what is? Where can I find the error logs in binary installer?
symptom: can't add content types (under Add New... folders, pages, news items, etc. -- hangs on save, more specifically my portal_factory is unable to validate and move the content to ZODB).
had same issue using both unified (4.1) and binary (4.1) installers
environment: mac book 10.6 Snow Leopard 32-bit
When I run buildout I see no errors:
2012-05-08 18:13:34 INFO ZServer HTTP server started at Tue May 8 18:13:34 2012

2012-05-08 18:14:27 INFO Zope Ready to handle requests
When I create a new site in Plone, Terminal says: http://pastie.org/3882025
Line 23: 2012-05-08 18:16:01 INFO GenericSetup.plone.app.registry Cannot find registry
That's not an error - that's what happens whenever you start up an instance with a new Data.fs file. If there's no Data.fs.index, or the .index file is inconsistent with the Data.fs, the existing one is ignored and the index is rebuilt. It means absolutely nothing on a new install.
There must be more information than this in the log.
Fixed this issue by following this post here: http://plone.293351.n2.nabble.com/Add-new-Plone-site-creates-site-with-JS-problems-4-1-4-tt7547774.html#a7555663
Basically, had to go to javascript registry, save, empty cache, restart browser, testing in Chrome only.
