Airflow Open Source Contribution - airflow

I have worked on a few enhancements in Airflow 1.10.
I wanted to know , if I need a CLA ( Contributors Licence Agreement ) to push my code to Airflow Open Source.
I am working for an Enterprise.

This question is probably best directed at the Airflow proper community, how to do this can be found in the CONTRIBUTING.md file.

How can you specify your terminal emulator in Corda

Xterm is used when running Corda locally on one computer using gradle.
Is there a way to specify your terminal editor when running as suggested by the following issue?
https://github.com/corda/corda/issues/2605
I completely share your pain on this. The way that runnodes has its tooling baked in makes it impossible for you to customize how the cordform plugin runs the nodes without digging into the internals.
Some other ideas for you
one thing you could do would be to stop using cordform altogether and run your corda network using dockerform (example here: https://github.com/corda/samples-java/blob/master/Features/dockerform-yocordapp/build.gradle#L93) so that the plugin doesn't need to actually create new terminals.
the much harder way would be to actually download the corda gradle plugins (https://github.com/corda/corda-gradle-plugins#installing-locally) and install it locally with your edits to the cordform task so that it opens the terminal of your choice. You may be able to PR them as the cordform task that's usually used to generate the runnodes script comes from here as far as I know.
As a separate note, I saw your github issue and I was disappointed by how that got handled. I'm sorry you had that experience and I'm going to dig into that issue internally to find out what's happening with that.
feel free to reach out to me (David Awad) on slack.corda.net and I can let you know what's going on there.
Thanks as always

"How to fix the problem of installation of the UiPath each and everytime ?"

I had installed the UiPath and accept the free license. But, once if we close the tool and again try to open it then every time it opens the installation screen and asks for a license.
Please give the solution of this issue.
Thanks.
Expected Result: Once the UiPath is installed then able to easily open it.
Actual Result: Every time needs to install the UiPath tool.
Generally, no matter what version you have, you have to activate it. Studio activated once will not ask for it anymore, for community edition you can do it here:

Can the export files option be limited in Rstudio client (open source edition)

I want to disable the export options in Rstudio open source edition server.
I read in http://docs.rstudio.com/ide/server-pro/r-sessions.html that this option is available in the pro version,
allow-file-downloads
...but I could not find documentation related with this topic for the open source edition.
Any help?
Finally, and after asking for help to the people at Rstudio, I get the answer to this and is that the export option could not be limited in the open source edition of Rstudio server. This option works only with the pro version.
You can check this in https://support.rstudio.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/222515687-Limit-files-export-in-Rstudio-server-open-source-edition
I will try to limit at the S.O. level. I will post any workaround if I succeed.

MVFS error in a snapshot view after upgradation of ClearCase

I created a snapshot view using Rational ClearCase explorer.
After creating it, I set the config specs, environmental variables and later tried compiling my code and got an MVFS error which says:
Unable to determine if the current working directory is in MVFS - no such device or address
When I searched the IBM website for the sake of eliminating this error, I found out that a snapshot view does not use the MVFS !
Why am I getting this error when Snapshot view does not use MVFS?
When this issue got triggered: Actually in our project we were using a ClearCase (8.0.0.7 version). We never had problems when we tried to build our code on the 8.0.0.7 version. It was only after upgrading this version to 8.0.0.15 that the build issue has arisen. The legacy of both old and new ClearCases are baseClearcase
Some more specifications regarding the issue:
The server which we are using is a Windows 2003 server. I am creating a snapshot view in H drive (NTFS drive) as C drive is not available for use in our project, cleaning the previously built files by running the shell script clean_view.sh and then compiling our C code with the ClearCase command clearmake.exe all. Previously we used to follow the same procedure where build used to succeed, but now the same has become an issue.
This question is an extension to the question which I have asked previously. I am re-posting this question as a whole thing again in order to give more clarity about the issue and also for more number of ClearCase experts to chime-in. Kindly do not treat this as a duplicate one or force close it as my issue has not yet been resolved. Also please note that this is the first time I am working with ClearCase.
LINK FOR THE PREVIOUS QUESTION: MVFS error in a snapshot view
Recently there was a development in the solution of this issue !! We escalated this issue to IBM with the help of our client. They suggested us to use Dynamic views and we used them. To our surprise it was working fine and we are able to generate the executables. But the fact still remains that we are not able to use snapshot views !!
NOTE: This comment is just to share my knowledge and experience regarding this issue. :)
While a snapshot view isn't in the MVFS, clearmake has MVFS-specific functionality for build auditing.
You mentioned that the "H" drive contained the snapshot view, is H:
A local or network drive?
A drive letter created via SUBST? In this case, is the parent drive local?
Do builds in dynamic views still work?
Does the C drive exist? Is it remapped in a Terminal Server/Citrix environment?
A caveat: Windows Server 2003 is nearly a year past MICROSOFT'S end of extended support. I would recommend updating the server environment as soon as possible.
Truthfully, issues where a process fails, and the ONLY change is the ClearCase version are usually best handled by contacting IBM instead of using this venue. Not trying to shill or anything, but if it's a clearmake bug, it has to go there anyway...
Additional questions:
If the C: drive is inaccessible on the system, which is what "can't even get the properties" in the comment seems to infer, where is the OS installed? Where does %SYSTEMROOT% point?
If it worked on a different drive, what's different between those 2 drives (H: Failed and R: worked)

Finished coding desktop app in Qt. How to deploy and distribute it?

Ok, this is indeed a newbish question but I have to take a first step somewhere.
I've just had experience with DevC++ console applications, which means a simple .exe would be produced from the compiling, running from cmd. That was all, you could send the .exe to a gentleman running the same OS and he could run your little program.
What happens with Qt Creator projects, though? I've finally finished my dekstop application, wrote and debugged everything that needed to be done, I sort of have some nice GUI going, everything's working nice but... How do I acually give it to other people that don't have QtC to run it through?
Any guide that covers this?
Deployment
Here are some guides helping you to deploy your application on different platforms:
X11
Windows
Mac OS X
Embedded Linux
Symbian
Installation
I can highly recommend
NSIS
Inno Setup
Distribution
Have a look at this site. Here you can present your application to others and let them download it.
The subject of your question is simple, but I'm sure it will help many people! Your question is a good contribution.
Well, last thing you do is find out dependencies - shared libraries, and squeeze that all into installer. :)
Resources:
Qt has a nice page called Deploying an Application on Windows, as a part of their documentation. So all the dependencies related stuff is covered there.
List of best free installers is available here.
My suggestion is to invest some time in writing a CMake script and then using CPack for the distribution.
Here is a very simple example
http://www.cmake.org/Wiki/BundleUtilitiesExample
with this you are able to deploy a mac application. Then you can also extend it to create Debian or RPM packages!
The CMake mailing list is always a source of useful suggestion.
In windows you probably have to redistribute the Qt DLL with your program, as well as for Mac you have to include Qt libraries in your bundle.
