Generate graph report from an already existing .jtl file - graph

I'm trying to generate graphs from my already existing .jtl file whose location is as follows:
D:\Codeaccess\SPOJ_Jmeter_APIS_Difficult\Test_Results\CPP\CPPResults.jtl
I want to store it in the same folder i.e.
D:\Codeaccess\SPOJ_Jmeter_APIS_Difficult\Test_Results\CPP with some name as graphResults.jtl
How do i do the same with report dashboard?I have followed the link but not sure how it is to be done using the properties file and how to access it.
looking forward to some good help.
Thanks in advance!

As per Generation from an existing sample CSV log file section it can be done as follows:
jmeter -g D:\Codeaccess\SPOJ_Jmeter_APIS_Difficult\Test_Results\CPP\CPPResults.jtl -o D:\Codeaccess\SPOJ_Jmeter_APIS_Difficult\Test_Results\CPP\graphResults.jtl
this command will pick up all the actual JMeter properties (jmeter.properties, user.properties, reportgenerator.properties) and apply them to the dashboard

Simply use UI to generate dashboard from jtl file, menu item Tools → Generate HTML report

Customize IBM DiffMerge to export a custom Report

I am using IBM DiffMerge to generate a Report that shows all differences between two .cls files or .sbs files. I was playing with it and I saw that there is a filed in option menu that allows you to change the format of the report, but it implies some keywords, like $elemname to print the element's name or $elemtype to print its type $leftonly or $rightonly which show how many differences are in the left diagram or in the right one.
Now, I was wondering if there are more variables like those above, especially one that can print a component's GUID (unique ID in Rhapsody).
Thanks,
Daniel
I would expect that $GUID will give you what you're looking for.
Under the ReporterPlus installation folder there is a folder named Templates. In it you'll find a file named DiffReport.dpl which you can load it into ReporterPlus for editing like any other template. You must run Rep+ with a command line option so that it loads with the Diffmerge specific schema:
Reporter.exe /mode=dfm
After that you can load the Diffmerge template, and edit it to customize the output of DiffMerge reports. When you do, try adding $GUID into the output.

How to create a link that downloads a new file instead of opening the source file (rmarkdown)

My rmarkdown code produces a html document. This document lists out the process that needs to be followed by front line staff at month end. The process flow requires users to open xl files, update a few fields (such as report month etc) and then run macros.
I have used hyperlink to the original XL files as follows
[click to opel xl file](path/and/file names)
The above link opens the original file and the user is able to
overwrite the original file, I don’t want this to happen.
I want the hyperlink to generate a new file that would be downloaded
so that nothing happens to the original file. How to do this?
Please could you kindly help me out.
Thanks in advance
After extensive research, this can't be done using conventional rmarkdown!

2sxc | Display multiple files with Adam upload

I can upload multiple files (documents in this case) at the same time very well. Is it possible to have a hyperlink field with multiple adam files dropped into it or even a plus ('+') icon to add another without having to drop on another app each time?
UPDATE:
Sorry I overlooked ADAM 1.2 (link below) feature to use hyperlink 'Library' for multi file selection.
https://2sxc.org/en/blog/post/introducing-adam-1-2-with-folders-metadata-and-c-sharp-api
I have been able multi select now but still having difficulty with using the file picker to create the folder structure I wish to achieve:
I read from link above:
You can create even another content-type - like Application Group Metadata - which you can use as folder-metadata. This allows the editor to tag each folder with additional information.
I do not fully understand how to use this 'folder-metadata' to achieve the same thing as the file manager allows me to do by specifying where each file is to be stored?

I'm having problems with configuring a filter that replicates specific tables only

I am trying to use filters to select specific tables to replicate.
I tried running this with the installer
./tools/tungsten-installer --master-slave -a \
...
--svc-extractor-filters=replicate \
--property=replicator.filter.replicate.do=test,*.foo"
and got this exception in trepctl status after the master had not installed properly:
Plugin class name property is missing or null: key=replicator.filter.replicate
which file is this properties file? How do I find it? Moreover, in specifying the settings for the filter, how do I know what exactly to put?
I discovered that I am supposed to Modify the configuration template file prior to configuration according to Issue 219 but what changes am I supposed to make in tungsten-replicator-2.0.5-diff that will later on be patched to the extraction?
Issue 254 suggests that If you want to apply a filter out of the box, you can use these options with tungsten-installer:
-a --property=replicator.filter.Replicate.ignoreFilter=schema_x.tablex,schema_x,tabley,schema_y,tablez
--svc-thl-filter=Replicate
However when I try using this for --property=replicator.filter.replicate.do,
but the problem is still the same:
pendingExceptionMessage: Plugin class name property is missing or null: key=replicator.filter.replicate
Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Update:
Hi
I had a look at this file: /root/tungsten/tungsten-replicator/samples/
conf/filters/default/tableignore.tpl .Acoording to this sample, a
static-SERVICE_NAME.properties file is supposed to have something like
this configured, please confirm if this is the correct syntax:
replicator.filter.tabledo=com.continuent.tungsten.replicator.filter.JavaScr iptFilter
replicator.filter.tabledo.script=${replicator.home.dir}/samples/
scripts/javascript-advanced/tabledo.js
replicator.filter.tabledo.tables=foo(database).bar(table)
replicator.stage.thl-to-dbms.filters=tabledo
However, I did not find tabledo.js (or something similar) in the
directory where tableignore.js exists. Could I please have the
location of this file. If there is an alternative way of specifiying
--property=replicator.filter.replicate.do=test without the use of
this .js file, your suggestions are most welcome.
Download the latest version of tungsten replicator. The missing tpl file was added about a month ago. After installation, the filtered tables should be added to static-service.properties under the section FILTERS.
Locate your replicator configuration file in static-YOUR_SERVICE_NAME.properties, e.g.
/opt/continuent/tungsten/tungsten-replicator/conf/static-mysql2vertica.properties
Make sure the individual dbms properties are set, in particular the setting replicator.applier.dbms:
# Batch applier basic configuration information.
replicator.applier.dbms=com.continuent.tungsten.replicator.applier.batch.SimpleBatchApplier
replicator.applier.dbms.url=jdbc:mysql:thin://${replicator.global.db.host}:${replicator.global.db.port}/tungsten_${service.name}?createDB=true
replicator.applier.dbms.driver=org.drizzle.jdbc.DrizzleDriver
replicator.applier.dbms.user=${replicator.global.db.user}
replicator.applier.dbms.password=${replicator.global.db.password}
replicator.applier.dbms.startupScript=${replicator.home.dir}/samples/scripts/batch/mysql-connect.sql
# Timezone and character set.
replicator.applier.dbms.timezone=GMT+0:00
replicator.applier.dbms.charset=UTF-8
# Parameters for loading and merging via stage tables.
replicator.applier.dbms.stageTablePrefix=stage_xxx_
replicator.applier.dbms.stageDirectory=/tmp/staging
replicator.applier.dbms.stageLoadScript=${replicator.home.dir}/samples/scripts/batch/mysql-load.sql
replicator.applier.dbms.stageMergeScript=${replicator.home.dir}/samples/scripts/batch/mysql-merge.sql
replicator.applier.dbms.cleanUpFiles=false
Depending on the database you are replicating to you may have to omit/modify some of the lines.
For more information see:
https://code.google.com/p/tungsten-replicator/wiki/Replicator_Batch_Loading
I don't know if this problem is still open or not.
I am using this version 2.0.6-xxx and installing the service using the parameters works for me.
I would like to point it out, that as the parameter says "--svc-extractor-filters" defines an extractor filter. Meaning that the parameters will guide the extraction of data in the master server.
If you intend to use it on the slave service, you should use the "--svc-applier-filters".
The parameters
--svc-extractor-filters=replicate \
--property=replicator.filter.replicate.do=test,*.foo"
supposed to create the following in the properties file:
This is the filter set up.
replicator.filter.replicate=com.continuent.tungsten.replicator.filter.ReplicateFilter
replicator.filter.replicate.ignore=
replicator.filter.replicate.do=test,*.foo
And you should also be able to find the
replicator.stage.binlog-to-q.filters=replicate
parameter set.
If you intend to use this filter in the slave, please find the line with:
replicator.stage.q-to-dbms.filters=mysqlsessions,pkey,bidiSlave
and change it as
replicator.stage.q-to-dbms.filters=mysqlsessions,pkey,bidiSlave,replicate
Hope this brief description did help to you!

Converting RTF to PDF from System

I've createad a rule to transform any file to PDF and copy this one to another folder.
So i can add a file named: "test.rtf" and then the rule create a test.pdf into folder "PDF"..
Till here its ok. If i add a file through alfresco (add content button) it works perfectly...
By the way, on the system that i've developed when i try to add a file then i get my file .rtf correctly in the folder, but the pdf file converted and copied goes without any content...
If i send a rtf file with a table with 10 rows and into the rows i right "testing" then the pdf created goes with the table, and with 10 empty rows...
Someone knows the reason for that?
Im not sure, but maybe when i send the file by the system alfresco starts to convert and copy before completing to create the rtf... someone already got some problem like this one?
The problem you're getting in is that Alfresco first creates an empty file with all the meta-data and then updates the file with the associated content.
So you can do 2 things:
1: create a rule which is triggered on update, instead on create/inbound
2: create a rule which triggers a Javascript file, which will do the transformation and will check on the content size.
Hence it's better to create a rule which checks the content on size.
Create a JavaScript file in Data Dictionary/Scripts.
Check the JavaScript API
Something like this:
if (document != null && document.size > 0){
document.transformDocument("application/rtf");
}
