Asp.net Register Stored Procedure gives error - asp.net

I am using asp.net 4.6.1 and am unable to create an account via Register Page.
The stored procedure aspnet_Membership_CreateUser gives the following error:
The conversion of a datetime data type to a smalldatetime data type resulted in an out-of-range value.
The statement has been terminated.
I have tried googling it but have failed to find the solution to it.
The same functionality works fine locally creating an account on my local Sql db.
But does not create the account on server db.

Yep Buddy! Got that Fixed!
I was right about the aspnet_membership table.
Instead of importing membership and identity records, I had to create new entries in membership tables.
This time the Register page was able to create the User Account.
Thanks for being patient though, buddy..
Jamshaid Kamran, you kept my juices running.

why the output values length are getting reduced when using DB links in oracle and asp.net

We are retrieving the output from table through DB link by executing a stored procedure and input parameters which worked previously and got the output in asp.net application.But now we noted that outputs through DB links are getting trimmed say if status is 'TRUE' ,we are getting as 'TRU' etc why the output values are getting trimmed.The only change we did recently was we changed one of the type of input parameter from number to varchar at the receiving remote side,But i don't think that is the issue??whe we execute the stored procedure remotely on the table.It is giving proper output but through DB link outputs are getting trimmed.ANy one has any idea about this issue??
My oracle client is having issues,i reinstalled and it worked fine.Only my system was having issues.so i desided to reinstall

"Could not find stored procedure <Proc Name Here>"

I am trying to add an control to my page. I am following the wizard. Step 1, I select my connection string. The connection works, no error messages. Step 2, I choose "Specify a custom SQL statement or stored Procedure" radio button. Step 3, in the "SELECT" tab I click the "Stored Prodedure" radio button, then select the stored procedure I would like to use. I take this as confirmation that the connection string is working. Step 4, I press the "Test Query" button.
A pop up appears with the message "There was an error executing the query. Please check the syntax of the command and if present, the types and values of the parameters and ensure they are correct. Could not find stored procedure .
I've tested the procedure in SSMS, and it works. I took the query string that is in the stored procedure and changed the radio from Step 3 to "SQL Statement" and pasted the string into the box. The statement worked fine.
I also changed the permissions for the login specified in the connection string to the same permissions I have on the server. (Full admin rights!) That did not correct the issue. I only found a few questions in the forums regarding this issue, and they all pointed to permission issues, but I have ruled that out as I set the permissions.
The Wizard can find the procedure when I am walking through the Wizard, but it can't find it when I test.
I hope someone can point me in the right direction... Thanks!
* EDIT *
Just to expand on the #BlackjacketMack's answer:
When I use the wizard to create the SqlDataSource, and select the Stored Procedure from the the list, it appears that VS is defaulting to the dbo schema at runtime, even though it displays all the sprocs in each schema. (I verified this by changing the schema the sproc was on to dbo and testing it. The results were returned with no errors.) Within the wizard, I do not see any options to change the schema. If I click the "SQL Statement" radio button and type EXECUTE [APP001].[MyStoredProcedure], it works perfectly. I did try the GRANT EXECUTE as #otaku recommended, but that did not work. I also changed the default schema for the user specified in the connection string to [APP001] to no avail. So this appears to be an issue when using the dropdowns in the wizard. Manually entering the data so that the schema can be fully qualified did the trick!
Make sure the application that you are running have the appropriate grant execute on the database objects. Sometimes they are tied to a database role such as below where the stored procedure need to have the execute permission:
GRANT EXECUTE ON ][dbo].[MyStoreProc] TO U_ExecuteProcs
Qualify your procedure with the schema If the proc has a schema 'APP001' as you indicated in a comment, make sure the Sql being passed looks something like EXEC APP001.YourStoredProcedureName.
Use a profiler! One great way to approach this problem is run a profiler on your SQL...either the MS Profiler, or we use http://anjlab.com/en/projects/opensource/sqlprofiler which used to be free. Basically, you'll see exactly what SQL your application is sending and who the login they're sending it as.
If you gave yourself admin permissions as you indicated, I wouldn't define too many object specific permissions simply because they tend to go unmaintained.
I think defining the execution context within your stored procedure will resolve the issue , Here is the link:

Dynamic Data Entities Web Application Handle delete statement conflicted

I've created an ASP.NET Dynamic Data Entities Web Application project with visual studio 2010.
I've added a ADO.NET Entity Data Model connected to a sql Server database.
The application works fine.
I'd like to handle an exception when deleting a row in a table that has a column which is a foreign key for another table.
The exception is :
The DELETE statement conflicted with the REFERENCE constraint "FK_name". The conflict
occurred in database "NAME", table "dbo.dbname", column 'Column_name'.
What I'd like to do is display a user friendly message to explain that the operation cannot be made before other rows in other table are delete.
I did some step by step debugging, but I can't find where the application does the database request, so that I can customize the code.
Thanks.
I did some research and i found two options :
- I can handle the delete directly with gridview attribute OnRowDeleting. This mean a lot of entity manipulation
- I can handle entity framework SavingChanges and check for entities on EntityState.Deleted, then check entity navigation properties and throw an explicit message if necessary. This works with a custom validation error to show user friendly message.

How to create a small and simple database using Oracle 11 g and SQL Developer?

How to create a small and simple database using Oracle 11 g and SQL Developer ?
I am seeing too many errors and I cannot find any way to make a simple database.
For example
create database company;
Caused the following error:
Error starting at line 1 in command:
create database company
Error at Command Line:1 Column:0
Error report:
SQL Error: ORA-01501: CREATE DATABASE failed
ORA-01100: database already mounted
01501. 00000 - "CREATE DATABASE failed"
*Cause: An error occurred during create database
*Action: See accompanying errors.
EDIT-
This is completely different from MySQL and MS-SQL that I am familiar with.
Not as intuitive as I was expecting.
First off, what Oracle calls a "database" is generally different than what most other database products call a "database". A "database" in MySQL or SQL Server is much closer to what Oracle calls a "schema" which is the set of objects owned by a particular user. In Oracle, you would generally only have one database per server (a large server might have a handful of databases on it) where each database has many different schemas. If you are using the express edition of Oracle, you are only allowed to have 1 database per server. If you are connected to Oracle via SQL Developer, that indicates that you already have the Oracle database created.
Assuming that you really want to create a schema, not a database (using Oracle terminology), you would create the user
CREATE USER company
IDENTIFIED BY <<password>>
DEFAULT TABLESPACE <<tablespace to use for objects by default>>
TEMPORARY TABLESPACE <<temporary tablespace to use>>
You would then assign the user whatever privileges you wanted
GRANT CREATE SESSION TO company;
GRANT CREATE TABLE TO company;
GRANT CREATE VIEW TO company;
...
Once that is done, you can connect to the (existing) database as COMPANY and create objects in the COMPANY schema.
Actually the answer from Justin above could not be more incorrect. SQL Server and MySQL are for smallish databases. Oracle is for large enterprise databases, thus the difference in it's structure. And it is common to have more than one Oracle database on a server provided that the server is robust enough to handle the load. If you received the error posted above then you obviously are trying to create a new Oracle database and if you are doing that then you probably already understand the structure of an Oracle database. The likely scenario is that you attempted to create a database using dbca, it initially failed, but the binaries were created. You then adjusted your initial parameters and re-tried creating the database using dbca. However, the utility sees the binaries and folder structure for the database that you are creating so it thinks that the database already exists but is not mounted. Dropping the database and removing the binaries and folders as well as any other cleanup of the initial attempt should be done first, then try again.
From your question description, I think you were to create a database schema, not a database instance. In Oracle terminology, a database instance is a set of files in the file system. It's more like data files in MySQL. Whereas database in MySQL is somewhat equivalent to Oracle's schema.
To create a schema in Oracle: https://docs.oracle.com/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14200/statements_6014.htm
To create a database instance in Oracle (I personally prefer CDBA):
https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e25494/create.htm#ADMIN11068
Notice the Oracle Express edition does not support mounting more than one database instance at one time.

Trace the Cause for update of Sql Table

I have a table Product which have Quantity column, This table get updated thru .net application using Stored procedure based on flag variable. Now im having problem reported from user that even though the flag variable is not set table is getting updated with new values.
Now i need to isolated the cause for the issue.How will i check which update and through which application this table is getting modified. I have no idea about it.
What is the best approach to resolve this issue?
Assuming you are using SQL Server:
You can monitor calls to SQL Server using SQL Server Profiler. You can setup a filter to monitor queries affecting the Product table. The log will show what the query looked like, when the query was executed, the database user executing the query, the name of the application (if that is specified in the connection string) and a bunch of other things.
