configure material-ui on asp.net core project - asp.net

I want to run material-design on my asp.net core project.
in visual studio 2019
but how should I use them in my project
the sample code for side bar drawer is this.
<aside class="mdc-drawer">
<div class="mdc-drawer__content">
<nav class="mdc-list">
<a class="mdc-list-item mdc-list-item--activated" href="#" aria-current="page">
<i class="material-icons mdc-list-item__graphic" aria-hidden="true">inbox</i>
<span class="mdc-list-item__text">Inbox</span>
</a>
<a class="mdc-list-item" href="#">
<i class="material-icons mdc-list-item__graphic" aria-hidden="true">send</i>
<span class="mdc-list-item__text">Outgoing</span>
</a>
<a class="mdc-list-item" href="#">
<i class="material-icons mdc-list-item__graphic" aria-hidden="true">drafts</i>
<span class="mdc-list-item__text">Drafts</span>
</a>
</nav>
</div>
</aside>
can anyone help how to call material?

From this github about Material Components for the web , you could try the following code ,not add the client-side library
<aside class="mdc-drawer">
<div class="mdc-drawer__content">
<nav class="mdc-list">
<a class="mdc-list-item mdc-list-item--activated" href="#" aria-current="page">
<i class="material-icons mdc-list-item__graphic" aria-hidden="true">inbox</i>
<span class="mdc-list-item__text">Inbox</span>
</a>
<a class="mdc-list-item" href="#">
<i class="material-icons mdc-list-item__graphic" aria-hidden="true">send</i>
<span class="mdc-list-item__text">Outgoing</span>
</a>
<a class="mdc-list-item" href="#">
<i class="material-icons mdc-list-item__graphic" aria-hidden="true">drafts</i>
<span class="mdc-list-item__text">Drafts</span>
</a>
</nav>
</div>

Icons do not work when implementing AdminLTE theme in JSF project

I am trying to implement AdminLTE theme in my project. I am an intern and working with jsf+hibernate. I have been told to use adminlte theme and trying to work it out with jsf.
At the beginning I fixed the stylesheeet syntax and JS syntax. After that fixed the /> parts of the code to apply on JSF. Now everything is looking same except icons. I am trying to implement them same way as I implemented JS and CSS files but it does not work.

For example, code was:
<link rel="stylesheet" href="dist/css/adminlte.min.css">
and I am using it like:
<h:outputStylesheet library="dist/css" name="adminlte.min.css" />

It works when I'm use:
<h:graphicImage name ="dist/img/AdminLTELogo.png" alt="AdminLTE Logo" class="brand-image img-circle elevation-3" style="opacity: .8"/>
instead of:
<img src="dist/img/AdminLTELogo.png" alt="AdminLTE Logo" class="brand-image img-circle elevation-3" style="opacity: .8"/>

Icons look like this:

can you try font awsome like this:

On my web page, there is free space on the left, and right. How to get rid of it?

Firstly i tried to do margin:0, and padding:0 for body element. But it didn't work. I inspected it to see what's going on google developer tools. I saw my .container-fluid class which has some bootstrap properties by default, has padding in left, and right. So when i write in developer tools; .container-fluid{ padding:0} it works, it deletes that free space. But when I do it in my css file, it doesn't work. Since I didn't want to use !important keyword, cause I think It must have worked...So I need your help, what's my mistake? Thanks.
.container-fluid {
padding: 0;
}
.title-image {
width:100%;
}

Demo
If you also want to remove left/right space from the content area, use p-0 on the container, and g-0 (no-gutters) on the row (otherwise you'll get undesired horizontal scrolling).
Also see: Make a bootstrap 4 container-fluid go full bleed to edge of browser window
In this case, it might be best to just use !important. Or, if you really don't want to, you can make the selector more specific (and thus more "important" that the bootstrap one) by prepending body to it. For example:
body .container-fluid {
padding: 0;
}
.title-image {
width:100%;
}

Note that to prevent horizontal scrolling, I also had to add a .g-0 class to the .row element.

Bulma CSS burger button position broken?

I am implementing a website with Meteor + Blaze + Bulma. I've basically created a navigation menu and got the burger button working for small devices. But the problem is, that the position of the burger button is messed up.
I would like to have it on the far right and vertically aligned with the logo. But the burger is right next to the logo and also slightly lower. I've tried "position: absolute; right:0;" but it keeps jumping back.
Is Bulma not suited for use with Blaze and Meteor? I have no other CSS files so far and just added Bulma in the header tags. So what could be the issue?

You need to add the class navbar-item to the container of your logo like that :
<div class="navbar-brand">
<a class="navbar-item" href="{{pathFor route='Home'}}"> <!-- Adding the class navbar-item -->
<img src="logo.svg" width="200" height="29" />
</a>
<!-- Burger Menu Button -->
<a role="button" class="navbar-burger burger" aria-label="menu" aria-expanded="false" data-target="navlist">
<span aria-hidden="true"></span>
<span aria-hidden="true"></span>
<span aria-hidden="true"></span>
</a>
</div>

Chrome - Font Awesome 5 some icons are not working

I am useing Font Awesome 5. Some icons are not showing in Chrome. For example "fa-facebook-f". When I change the icon class to fa-facebook it works. Is there a way to fix it?
Here is what i see in chrome.
<a href="#" target="_blank" class="icon-facebook">
<i class="fab fa-facebook-f">
</i>
</a>
<a href="#" target="_blank" class="icon-twitter">
<i class="fab fa-twitter">
</i>
</a>
<a href="#" target="_blank" class="icon-google_plus">
<i class="fab fa-google-plus-g">
</i>
</a>
<a href="#" target="_blank" class="icon-pinterest">
<i class="fab fa-pinterest">
</i>
</a>
<a href="#" target="_blank" class="icon-linkedin">
<i class="fab fa-linkedin-in">
</i>
</a>
<a href="#" target="_blank" class="icon-instagram">
<i class="fab fa-instagram">
</i>
</a>
<a href="#" target="_blank" class="icon-tumblr">
<i class="fab fa-tumblr">
</i>
</a>
Import this css it will work for all the font awesome icons and also for all the versions of icons it will work.
<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://use.fontawesome.com/releases/v5.0.8/css/all.css">
Add this code in your HTML file before body and style tag
<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://use.fontawesome.com/releases/v5.0.8/css/all.css" integrity="sha384-3AB7yXWz4OeoZcPbieVW64vVXEwADiYyAEhwilzWsLw+9FgqpyjjStpPnpBO8o8S" crossorigin="anonymous">
And remember one thing that use class of that type
fab fa-linkedin
in some site it is given as
fa fa-linkedin
which is not working so use 'fab' in place of 'fa'
And you can use this icon in your website
for testing purpose you can use this code
<div class="row text-center">
<!-- Team item-->
<div class="col-xl-3 col-sm-6 mb-5">
<div class="bg-white rounded shadow-sm py-5 px-4"><img src="https://res.cloudinary.com/mhmd/image/upload/v1556834132/avatar-4_ozhrib.png" alt="" width="100" class="img-fluid rounded-circle mb-3 img-thumbnail shadow-sm">
<h5 class="mb-0">Vishal Jat</h5><span class="small text-uppercase text-muted">CEO - Founder</span>
<ul class="social mb-0 list-inline mt-3">
<li class="list-inline-item"><i class="fab fa-facebook-f"></i></li>
<li class="list-inline-item"><i class="fab fa-twitter"></i></li>
<li class="list-inline-item"><i class="fab fa-instagram"></i></li>
<li class="list-inline-item"><i class="fab fa-linkedin"></i></li>
</ul>
</div>
</div>
Its working fine...Its maybe you are not linking the correct font-awesome file
<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://use.fontawesome.com/releases/v5.0.8/css/all.css" integrity="sha384-3AB7yXWz4OeoZcPbieVW64vVXEwADiYyAEhwilzWsLw+9FgqpyjjStpPnpBO8o8S" crossorigin="anonymous">
<a href="#" target="_blank" class="icon-facebook">
<i class="fab fa-facebook-f">
</i>
</a>
<a href="#" target="_blank" class="icon-twitter">
<i class="fab fa-twitter">
</i>
</a>
<a href="#" target="_blank" class="icon-google_plus">
<i class="fab fa-google-plus-g">
</i>
</a>
<a href="#" target="_blank" class="icon-pinterest">
<i class="fab fa-pinterest">
</i>
</a>
<a href="#" target="_blank" class="icon-linkedin">
<i class="fab fa-linkedin-in">
</i>
</a>
<a href="#" target="_blank" class="icon-instagram">
<i class="fab fa-instagram">
</i>
</a>
<a href="#" target="_blank" class="icon-tumblr">
<i class="fab fa-tumblr">
</i>
</a>
You can use "fab" in class instead of "fa"
<i class="fab fa-linkedin"></i>
This will surely work. Replace "fa" with "fab" or "fas".
Have you imported the css, js but also the etf files which describes the font ?
If yes, then try this class name instead of "fab" which is not referenced in the doc
<i class="fas fa-camera-retro"></i>
This class name works fine for linkedin:
<i class="fab fa-linkedin-in" aria-hidden="true"></i>

Text Alignment Next to Icon on Bootstrap Sidebar

I'm trying to modify dashboard from Bootstrap. I added icons before the texts on the sidebar similar to this. I did inspect the latter but it doesn't have something special CSS codes to make the texts have a uniform number of space and alignment.
This is my code:
<ul class="nav nav-pills flex-column">
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link" href="/">
<div>
<i id="icon-dashboard" class="fa fa-tachometer icon" aria-hidden="true"></i>
<span class="nav-link-text">Dashboard</span> <span class="sr-only">(current)</span>
</div>
</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link" href="/books">
<div>
<i id="icon-book" class="fa fa-book icon" aria-hidden="true"></i>
<span class="nav-link-text">Book</span>
</div>
</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link" href="/transactions">
<div>
<i id="icon-transaction" class="fa fa-handshake-o icon" aria-hidden="true"></i>
<span class="nav-link-text">Transaction</span>
</div>
</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link" href="/reports">
<div></div>
<div>
<i id="icon-report" class="fa fa-bar-chart icon" aria-hidden="true"></i>
<span class="nav-link-text">Report</span>
</div>
</a>
</li>
</ul>
Please help me figure out. I have no clue how to do it. Thanks.
The icons in question, in the example provided, apply a fixed width for a uniform layout throughout corresponding list-items; which may also have icons nested within them of varying widths.
Consider using fixed width icons by declaring the class fa-fw on icons in list-items.
Use fa-fw to set icons at a fixed width. Great to use when different
icon widths throw off alignment. Especially useful in things like nav
lists & list groups.
