How to start/stop function based on entry start stop time - datetime

I've some LED lights that I want to turn on from entry box 0600 to 1800, or perhaps start another function from 1800 to 0300. how can I make a function to set so the action is ON during the period between the entry values and off otherwise. I've used Time but I'm running into issues. I don't know if I should convert the entry to Int() and compare but find it doesn't resolve the evening On entry. Any thoughts on this one would be appreciated.

Simultaneously read and write to buffer

I am in the process of learning Julia and I'd like to do some buffer manipulation.
What I want to achieve is the following:
I've got a buffer that I can write to and read from at the same time, meaning that the speed with which I add a value to the Fifo buffer approximately equals the speed with which I read from the buffer. Reading and writing will happen in separate threads so it can occur simultaneously.
Additionally, I want to be able to control the values that I write into the buffer based on user input. For now, this is just a simple console prompt asking for a number, which I then want to write into the stream continously. The prompt refreshes and asks for a new number to write into the stream, but the prompt is non-blocking, meaning that in the background, the old number is written to the buffer until I enter a new number, which is then written to the buffer continuously.
This is my preliminary code for simulatenous reading and writing of the stream:

I am not sure how to integrate the user input in a way that it keeps writing and reading the latest number the user put in. I looked at the documentation for channels, but didn't manage to get it working in a way that was non-blocking for the stream writing. I don't know that the correct approach is (channels, events, julia's multithreading) to enable this functionality.
How would I go on about to include this?

plotter only plot the time, not the date

im trying to follow this guide on plotting a time series chart but ive run into a small issue. is there any way to change the bottom label to only show the current time (H:M:S) instead of the current date? ive been trying for a while now to find a way to do this but it still havent been able to. im following the code in the guide so this is the code im working with:

ive tried using chrono's NaiveTime but it doesnt seem to be supported, DateTime causes the entire date and time to be printed instead of just the time, and ive also tried creating my own element series but i cant figure out how to get that working. anyone have any ideas?
You can add this line, or something like it to the ChartBuilder:
.x_label_formatter(&|x| format!("{:02}:{:02}", x.hour(), x.minute()))
where x is a DateTime struct. You can use other DateTime functions to get different parts of the time, as required.

Image compare autoit [duplicate]

I am looking for a way to find duplicate images using AutoIt. I've looked into PixelSearch and SearchImage but neither do exactly what I need them to do.
I am trying to compare 2 images by filename and see if they are the same image (a duplicate). The best way I've thought to do it would be to:
1) Get both image sizes in pixels
2) Use a while loop to get the color of each pixel and store it in an array
3) Check to see if both arrays are equal to each other.
Does anybody have any ideas on how to achieve this?

Now to compare imagages, all you have to do is include the CompareImagesUDF.au3 file and call the function.

If you want to find out if both images are an exact match, regardless if names are the same or different, use the built-in Crypt function _Crypt_HashFile with MD2 or MD5 to make a hash of both files and compare that.

And it must works good (At least I think so), and it works correct when inputSize = 20. But when inputSize = 200 current error always is nan. At first I've thought that file reading part is incorrect. I've recheck it some times but it is working great. Also I found that sometimes too small or too big learning rate may affect on it. I've tried learning rate from 0.00001 up to 0.8, but still the same result. What I'm doing wrong?

How to print a complex number without percent sign in Scilab?

I tried this
a = 1+3*%i;
disp("a = "+string(a))
I got a = 1+%i*3 , but what I want is a = 1. + 3.i
So is there any method in Scilab to print a complex number without the percent sign?
Similarly to Matlab, you can format the output string by including the real and imaginary parts separately.
mprintf('%g + %gi\n', real(a) , imag(a))
However, that looks pretty ugly when the imaginary part is negative. I suggest writing a formatting function:
