Is it possible to get the route restrictions of a particular area/city using here api?
My objective is to visualise the route restrictions of a particular city.
There is a parameter to avoid areas
avoidAreas
and to avoid countries excludeCountries=BOL,PRY,URY which takes a list of ISO 3166-1-alpha-3 country codes.

Map Tile API can return map tiles with truck restrictions (you need your own apikey in order to see that tile):

If you want to ignore the restrictions for trucks in the route, add the parameter truckRestrictionPenalty and set the value to soft.
The route violating truck restrictions is indicated in the response with dedicated route and manoeuvre notes. The route with the note of the type violation and the text truckRestriction may be travelled at your own responsibility. While driving on such a route, extra care has to be taken as it may result in a vehicle or road infrastructure damage.

Thanks for your feedback, but we are using the Fleet Telematics Api not the Routing API. Using your info, We researched a litle more and we found the equivalent parameter: ignoreWaypointVehicleRestriction.
We added these params &ignoreWaypointVehicleRestriction=5000;0;all and the API returned the route with the warning.

I am trying to geocode a street interception through Here Geocoder API Forward Geocoding. However, with no success.

There is an obvious way to do what I want.However, there is a proxy endpoint, which I am not allowed to change and it accepts from client and passes to Here API only free form input.
I tried with the following string for my free form input value,it is the same as the documentation example:
State # Madison, Chicago
But got 0 results.
I just wonder if that is possible at all through Here Forward Geocoding-it seems difficult for implementation without some restriction to the free-form input format?Thanks in advance!
I got the result for street intersection with it, can you please try by using your appkey, id.

if the search needs to be in free form, then below API call can work too, but here the search match level is based out of the city, not specific to street.

Use Case:
I've got a search box where the intention is to search for addresses, cities and businesses, and up to 5 matching locations will be returned. Then, I'll use the geocoder to get lat/lon coordinates for a selected location based upon locationId.
Desired Outcome: The geocoder autocomplete API works well for cities/states/addresses/etc., but I'd like for the results to include businesses as well (where a business result would come with a locationId). Is this going to be possible with the Here API? Using the Places segment of the API would be an option as well if there's a path forward along that route.
NO, Geocoder API helps to find only addresses based on housenumber, street, country ,county, pincode but it does not tell you if the address is of a business category.

It seems that the Routing API requires a Lat/Lon pair to be supplied to the Waypoint parameter. I've seen other APIs that allow for the actual address to be passed, instead of the Lat/Lon. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a way to do this with the Here.com API. In many instances I can obtain the Lat/Lon first, but in one instance it's proving to be a headache, especially given the nature of the way that the REST APIs work and the fact that I'm trying to batch-process a small group of addresses at a single time. Any help would be appreciated.
Unfortunately Routing API needs a waypoint in lat, lon and required a Geocoding as a pre-requisite.
Maybe a not so nice workaround if you are facing issues with Geocoding, the Duck Duck Go provides a syntax

I am new to Google Maps API and I have a requirement to integrate Google Maps API with an ASP.Net application. Is there a Google service where in I can input a UK postcode and radius as input parameters and get results only, without the map.
For example if I search for solicitors in a particular area like Z1 1XY (not real post code) with a radius of 5 mi, can I get the results of all solicitors with the postcodes 5 mile radius? Is there any service that would return the result set only? I know GeoCoding does something similar but can I provide radius as one of the input parameter and get results.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

yes, you can use the Google Geocoding API to do address lookups (in this case postcodes). The response contains lat/lon co-ordinates which you can then subsequently use as the epicenter of your search to find items within a radius. Have a look at this blog post on how to use the DbGeography in .NET to perform radius queries based on lat/lon co-ordinates.
