Hi I have 3 Input COntrols say Car, Bike and Vehicles and Cars contain list as Hyundai,Maruthi,Audi and Bikes Contain Honda,suzuki,Bajaj and Vehicles Input Control contain Cars and Bikes as a dropdown
Scenario 1:when Hyundai is selected in car and Honda is selected in Bike and Car is selected in Vehicles
Report should run by Vehicles and must shows list all the drop down related to car and the same vice versa when Bike is selected in Vehcile
I have created 3 Parameters $P{Cars},$P{Bikes}&$P{Vehicles}
when $P{cars==Hyundai}&&$P{Bike==Honda} and $P{Vechiles==Car} the above equation is not working

You are using the parameter syntax wrong: When you say $P{cars==Hyundai} you are passing NO expression but instead, you are calling a parameter with name "cars==Hyundai"
The way to go is
$P{cars} == "Hyundai" or $P{cars}.equals("Hyundai")

lets say I have a matrix with inventory of car models, owner etc. I have said that the first column of the matrix is car_model. Now I want to assign all Mercedes Benz cars to a variable "mercedes", the issue is in the list some car model names are written as "Mercedes Benz" and others "Benz Mercedes". How do I assign both spelling orders to "mercedes". I know how to assign either of them:

but how do I assign both? I have tried

I would like to retrieve information from wikidata and store it in a dataframe. For the sake of simplicity I am going to assume that I want to get the genre of the following movies and then filter those that belong to sci-fi:

I know there is a package called WikidataR. If I am not wrong, and according to its vignettes there are two commands that may be useful: find_item and find_property allow you to retrieve a set of Wikidata items or properties where the aliase or descriptions match a particular search term. Apparently they are great for me, so I thought of doing something like

Unfortunately, the information that I get from find_item (see below) has two problems:

it is not a dataframe
it just stores metadata about the property
I don't find any way to link each property with each object in movies vector.
Is there any way to end up with a dataframe containing the genre's of those movies? (or a dataframe with all wikidata's information which I will have to manipulate in order to filter or select my desired data?)
These are just lists. you can get a picture with str(find_item("Interstellar")) for example.
Then you can go through each element of the list and pick the item that you need. For example. Getting the title and the label

This works easily for regular data if some element is missing then you will have to handle it for example some items don't have description. So you can get around with the following.

I created a report with 3 columns, Department, Ticket Count, Ticket Number. It groups Department names and the second column shows 1 instance of the Ticket Count. The last column shows all of the ticket numbers.
I added a row that shows the grand total of all of the departments displayed.
This is the data set results :

I group the Department and the TicketCount so that the display is like this:

I want to add a ticket total at the end but the result is always adding all of the ticket counts and not just one.
So the Total displayed is 9 not 3.
I need to create an expression that picks the distinct TicketCounts of the departments and sums them.
The function DistinctCount returns the correct number of counts when I have multiple departments but not the values.
I tried the RunningValue function but it adds all of the values in the column.
=RunningValue(Fields!ReopenedTicketCount.Value, sum, Nothing)
I need to create a function that sums the distinct values of the ticket counts of each department.
Can anyone point me in the direction as to the functions that I need to use?
I figured this out. I just used the COUNT function on the third column to get the grand total.
I am coming from Swing where in a JTable, I can just set the column and the row to a value. In a JavaFX TableView, I have to make each row represent an object. I am trying to represent a schedule for a race track. I have round and race number, and then whoever is in each lane.

Each object in a lane, (Bob, Tom, ...) is a Car object. It has various fields but what is being represented in the table should be whatever toString() returns, in this case, the driver's name. I have an array of Round object and each Round has an array of Races which has an array of Cars for lanes. I need a way to represent this data structure in a TableView as shown above. Note that the amount of lanes, races in a round and total rounds can be changed by the user at runtime.
I am working on a web page that has a data grid and have a need to do
the following:
Have a column that is a drop down when the grid loads (no need to click edit)
This column is bound to a column from the data query (everything up
to this point works fine)
I know need to add more values to this drop down from another
dataset (so the user can change the value if required)
These values come from a query to another table in the database. The
values will be same for all the rows in the table, these values are
based on a master key for the complete webpage.
As an example:
table 1 has:
Mangoes $12
Apricots $13
Peaches $14
This is on the grid.
The other table has:
Prices
12
13
14
15
16
I want these values from the prices table to appear in the drop down
for table 1 in the data grid, with the current values as the selected
item.

As far as I know,
U should better change ur table design.
If ur fruit table is concern with price id, then u can easily select the item from dropdown with current value in fruit table.

then it is easier to list all price in dropdown list
and also easier to choose selected price based on PriceId from Fruit table.
