I need to monitor real time reads/writes counts of my Firestore database.
I've already created the dashboard with the metrics and the image attached shows the current configuration.
However, this displays a rate (per second). How do I calculate the actual counts? Or is there a different aggregation aligner?
If you would like to add ‘count’ into your existing chart, here are the steps:
on the Dashboards page, click the 3 dots on the top-right of your chart, select ‘Edit’ from the pop-up menu;
On the ‘Edit Chart’ page, under ‘METRIC’ tab, click ‘+ ADD METRIC’, select the ‘Resource type’ you desire and the Metric such as ‘Document Reads’ or ‘Document Writes’, then select ‘count’ in the dropdown list of ‘Aggregator’ and save the change.

Im trying to write queries on Azure Workbook so that I can run queries on our logs, which would allow me to drill down and view exactly what the exception message is. While doing so, when I execute a KQL query, on the workbooks, the column values are truncated as shown in picture. I want to be able to see the full error stack in order to troubleshoot the issue. Now I can get the operation_Id from here and then run it in Log Analytics to view full details, but I would like to view everything I need on this single page within Azure WorkBook. Clicking on the column doesn't expand it.
You cannot expand a particular column when you execute a kql query on the workbooks.
If you change the visualization to Text you will be able to see the complete stack error message as show in the below image
There are many ways to do something like this in workbooks, but the grid we use doesn't have the ability to expand a single cell like the logs view does.
As another answer states, you could use the "text" visualization to visualize just one cell (0,0) as a text block, but that only works for once cell queries.
or, in the grid settings you can set the column renderer to be a link for those columns, and have that link open the "cell details" view. that will open up a side pane that shows all the content of the cell in a popup view
or you could pick the "generic details" option which will open a side popup showing the values of all the columns in that row)
or, you can go into advanced settings, and enable the option to export parameters when a row is selected. you can then set it to export specific columns as specific named parameters, and use those parameters downstream to see values in something like a markdown text item in the workbook, or in a subsequent query.
there are examples of things like that documented here: https://github.com/microsoft/Application-Insights-Workbooks/blob/master/Documentation/Interactivity.md
I want to divide 123 by 9.2k (to give a %).
123 = number of users on first page.
9.2k = number of users that go to the second page after visiting the first pace.
I want to calculate % of people going from first to second page.
Both data is from Google Analytics number of users.
Screenshot of Data Studio:
One way that it can be achieved by selecting both Scorecards, then right clicking either Scorecard to Blend data and create a Ratio Metric:
Left Click on Scorecard 1 (123 Users);
Ctrl + Left Click (on a Windows device, for a Mac use ⌘ + Left Click) on Scorecard 2 (9,200 Users);
With both Scorecards selected, Right Click on either Scorecard and select Blend data from the drop down to create a new Scorecard, a Ratio Metric.

I'm trying to use custom log event to have some statistics of the use of my app.
Events are properly configured and can be seen in the "Stream view" of firebase analytics.
my problem is that i want to display statistics no for only the last 30min.
for exemple if i log an event "car" which contain the property model, which can have the value 'tesla', 'ford' etc... as this :
this.defaultAnalytics.logEvent("car", {model: "tesla"});
I'm able to see in the last 30min like 75% of car.model are tesla in the stream view, but i'm not able to see this for the last week for exemple.
I can only see that the event 'car' has been emit 100 times in the last week but i can't see anything about the value of the property.
I'm i obliged to use a tool as bigquery ?
It depends which charts you want to get, but in general - you don't have to use BigQuery. You can see all your custom event parameters in Firebase console, but you have to register them first:
You can also identify up to 100 custom event parameters per project (50 numeric and 50 text) to include in reporting by registering those parameters with their corresponding events. Once you register your custom parameters, Google Analytics for Firebase displays a corresponding data card in each related event-detail report.
Here what I want is get the number of returning visitor in percentage in scorecard.What I tried is tried creating calculating filed but didn't able to succeed
What I tried is applied the usertype = "returning visitor" filter but it shows only number and I want percentage.
Expected result is %returning visitors
Unfortunately, this method isn't entirely accurate. GA double counts a user if they are both a returning user and new user if they complete more than 1 session within the time period that you have listed.
My work around is to blend a data source with itself: 1 with a Google segment for returning users, 1 without.
The formula for the calculated field should use these two metrics:
ga:users (Users): total number of users
ga:newUsers (New Users): total number of new users
ga:newUsers/ga:users will give you the percentage of new users, the rest would be return. So just subtract the % from 1. Like so
Returning visitor in data studio
Showing the total number of returning visitors via the Scorecard
There is 2 ways to make it
1
Step 1
usertype = "returning visitor" pie chart or in table
Just make a new Pie chart or table then add to demensions Usertype
Step 2:
Add a new scoreboard
Make a filter for scoreboard just to show Returning of New visitors.
Done !! Showing the total number of returning visitors via the Scorecard.
Step 3 showing as a %
Add a new scoreboard without any filter and just show session.
Click at Scoreboard which shows Returning or New visitors. Click also in sametime at the scoreboard which shows session.. then right click on the mouse, choise the Merge data options.
Data studio makes automaticly percentage of both data. You get it!!!!
Second Way
You'll need to create a segment for in Google Analytics to use in Data Studio
Make a segment for returning visitors in Google Analytics.
Add a new scoreboard in data studio, choose just made segment. You will see the total Returning visitors in scoreboard.
follow step 2 and 3 ..
Good luck..
I know how to modify a 'physical' report with a defined name, and called from a button. But, in Axapta there are some reports called from the print button in the toolbar.
How can one modify a system report like 'sysreportauto'?
The fields shown in the auto report comes from the AutoReport field group on the table.
You can, as a user, change the auto report, by clicking Edit\New, then choose the fields you would like to see.
You can also specify group totals in Select\Sorting, and grand totals in Select\Print options.
