Unable to reference vendor extension from openapi-generator mustache template - openapi-generator

I have an Open API 3 spec yaml file that has some x- prefixed properties. I'm trying to generate an Angular Typescript SDK using openapi-generator-cli. However when I reference the property in the template mustache, the x-prefixed property is always blank.
Example endpoint from the yaml (irrelevant stuff omitted):

The generated SDK, however, replaces {{x-foo}} with blank:

Vendor Extensions are made available inside of a vendorExtensions parent property, not directly.
So to access an x-foo property from the mustache template, the example above would be:

To see the object that you're working against (eg. the parsed version of the api spec yml or json), run the generate command with the -v flag. One of the many things that will be printed out is the parsed spec.

Python-Sphinx: how to fill the keyword fields for qthelp builder

I'm using Sphinx for generating the documentation of my application, to be viewed using the QtHelpEngine. Hence I'm using the qthelp builder.
I don't understand how to properly create the keyword section of the qhp file from the reStructuredText used as source.
By default sphinx create an empty tag:
<keywords>
</keywords>
and then the linksForIdentifier() and linksForKeyword() return an empty QMap.
Sphinx fills the keywords with the same content it uses in the index of the documentation project. You find an overview of how to create index-generating markup markup here in the Sphinx documentation (Steve Piercy's assumption is correct).
For example, if we have a the file this/is/an/example.rst, which contains this Python domain directive:

, our keywords tag in the .qhp file contains the following keyword:

reading yaml from twig

Preface: in ez4 i remember there was a tpl function to read ini settings, we used to use this to pass specific locations or id's with which we could then render certain content.
In ezplatform I am now doing the same thing but by using the PreContentViewListener (in the PreContentViewListener read a yml file and pass into the view as params), but this doesn't feel like the correct way as the PreContentViewListener doesn't always get triggered, in custom controllers for example.
Question
Is there a native way to read yaml files from within twig templates? After searching the docs and available packagists i cannot find anything :/
If your needs are simple (i.e. reading container parameters), you can also use eZ Publish config resolver component which is available in any Twig template with ezpublish.configResolver.
You can specify a siteaccess aware parameter in format <namespace>.<scope>.<param_name>, like this:
parameters:
app.default.param.name: 'Default param value'
app.eng.param.name: 'English param value'
app.cro.param.name: 'Croatian param value'
where default, eng and cro are different eZ Publish scopes.
You can then use the config resolver to fetch the parameter in current scope with:
{{ ezpublish.configResolver.parameter('param.name', 'app') }}
If you have Legacy Bridge installed, this even falls back to legacy INI settings if no Symfony container parameter exists:
{{ ezpublish.configResolver.parameter('SiteSettings.SiteName', 'site') }}
Disclaimer: Some say that using config resolver is bad practice, but for simpler usecases it is okay, IMO.

Here we have 2 wrapper twig functions

You could do a lot of things in eZ 4 and not always really good for your application design. ezini was able to read the configuration from the template but now in eZ Platform and by extension Symfony you need to respect more common patterns. IMO the view should not be that smart.
Then injecting variables to the view from a listener (PreContentViewListener or your own) is not a bad idea.
You can also use the Twig Globals that could allow you to do 2 global things:
inject variables (1)
inject a service (2)

(2): please don't inject the service container globally it is bad
(1): I don't remember if the Twig Globals are Site Access aware, if not injecting your own service (2) to manage access to the config might be better.
And finally, I think that the use case is not a common one:
we used to use this to pass specific locations or id's with which we could then render certain content.
Most of the time it is a bad idea to pass ids coming from the configuration to render something, it is much better to organize the content structure to let you pull the location you want using the PHP API. (no id in configuration no hassle with dev, stage, preprod and prod architecture)

spring boot/spring web app embedded version number

What are the strategies to embed a unique version number in a Spring application?
I've got an app using Spring Boot and Spring Web.
Its matured enough that I want to version it and see it displayed on screen at run time.
I believe what you are looking for is generating this version number during build time (Usually by build tools like Ant, Maven or Gradle) as part of their build task chain.
I believe a quite common approach is to either put the version number into the Manifest.mf of the produced JAR and then read it, or create a file that is part of the produced JAR that can be read by your application.
Another solution would be just using Spring Boot's banner customization options described here: http://docs.spring.io/spring-boot/docs/current/reference/html/boot-features-spring-application.html#boot-features-banner
However, this will only allow you to change spring-boot banner.
I also believe that Spring Boot exposes product version that is set in Manifest.MF of your application. To achieve this you will need to make sure Implementation-Version attribute of the manifest is set.
Custom solution for access anywhere in the code
Lets assume you would like to have a version.properties file in your src/main/resources that contains your version information. It will contain placeholders instead of actual values so that these placeholders can be expanded during build time.

Now that you have a file like this you need to fill it with actual data. I use Gradle so there I would make sure that processResources task which is automatically running for builds is expanding resources. Something like this should do the trick in the build.gradle file for Git-based code:

In the code about the following is happening:
We defined a function that can take a build number out of the VCS
(in this case Git). The commit hash is limited to 7 characters.
We configure the processResources task to process
version.properties file and fill it with our variables.
prodVersion is taken from Gradle project version. It's usually set
as version in gradle.properties file (part of the general build
setup).
As a last step we ensure that it's always updated (Gradle
has some mechanics to detect if files ened to be processed
Considering you are on SVN, you will need to have a getSvnBranchCommit() method instead. You could for instance use SVNKit or similar for this.
The last thing that is missing now is reading of the file for use in your application.
This could be achieved by simply reading a classpath resource and parsing it into java.util.Properties. You could take it one step further and for instance create accessor methods specifically for each field, e.g getVersion(), getBuild(), etc.

Maven can be used to track the version number, e.g.:

I'm sure you've probably figured something out since this is an older question, but here's what I just did and it looks good. (Getting it into the banner requires you to duplicate a lot).
I'd recommend switching to git (it's a great SVN client too), and then using this in your build.gradle:

JDO + datanucleus API enhancement

I want to load dynamically XML meta-data files that are not in the classpath (the XML meta-data files will be generated after launching my app).
I thought I could call the method
MetaDataManager.registerFile(java.lang.String fileURLString, FileMetaData filemd, ClassLoaderResolver clr)
Then, I tried the API enhancement, so I added the following lines:

The following jars are in the classpath: datanucleus-api-jdo.jar, datanucleus-connectionpool.jar, datanucleus-core.jar datanucleus-rdbms.jar, jdo-api.jar, asm.jar.
But when I launch my app, I get this exception:
Caused by: mypackage.MyException:
org.datanucleus.api.jdo.exceptions.ClassNotPersistenceCapableException: The class "mypackage.ClassToPersist" is not persistable. This means that it either hasnt been enhanced, or that the enhanced version of the file is not in the CLASSPATH (or is hidden by an unenhanced version), or the Meta-Data/annotations for the class are not found.
Do you please have any idea how to fix this ?
PS: I also noticed that the method enhance returns 0 which indicates that the class has not been enhanced (we could exclude the other options)

I think I found an easy way to fix this.
At runtime, I created a jar that contains the updated metadata file as META-INF/package.jdo. Then I added this jar to the classpath as described here
Using this hacks, I didn't need to re-enhace my class since it is enhanced after compilation.
(But for information, I had to call JDOEnhancer.addFiles() to enhance my class.)
So your call to loadClass has loaded the unenhanced class (since it would have been loaded in order to perform the enhancement presumably), and you didn't follow the tutorial that is provided at http://www.datanucleus.org/documentation/development/dynamic_class_metadata_enhance_runtime.html

Visual Studio treat custom extension as CSharp

I've got files with a custom extension .mcsx that are really CSharp files. I want to get code completion on these files in Visual Studio 2012, but these files are treated as plain text when I open them in VS.
I've tried to create a custom MEF extension which allows me to treat the files as having a content-type based on csharp, but I don't get autocompletion or code formatting for these documents. I might need to invoke the custom CSharp classifier for my custom content type, but I'm not sure. Can anyone help?

So inside of VS things are actually a bit different than the editor APIs imply -- we don't actually use content types (for the most part) to determine when to activate. Noah Richards has a great blog post that shows how to create an extension that marks another extension under an existing editor.
