I have added layer in map as follows
clusterLayer = new H.map.layer.ObjectLayer(clusteredDataProvider);
map.getLayers().add(clusterLayer);
Now I want to hide/show layer on click of button. How can I achieve this ?
You can add an event listener to the Provider
for example :
clusteredDataProvider.addEventListener('tap', function(event) {
//your code
console.log(event.target.getData())}

I am using Aframe 0.7.0. and it working great! My application has camera with cursor and the raycaster intersect with entities.
I want to disable click event that is emitted by intersection of cursor and any entity, but at same time I want other events to work just fine, like mouseenter, etc.
How can I achieve this? Please let me know if I am missing any information required for this question.
Thanks
If i'm correct about Your idea, You should be able to do something like this.
Activate clicking on stuff using the addEventListener("click", handler)
Deactivate clicking on stuff using the removeEventListener("click", handler)
Having those in Your component,
AFRAME.registerComponent("foo", {
addListeners: function() {
this.el.addEventListener("click", this.handler);
},
removeListeners: function() {
this.el.removeEventListener("click", this.handler);
},
handler: function() {
// whatever response from clicking
}
});
You can enable clicking by using el.components.foo.addListeners and disable using el.components.foo.removeListeners from any other method.
Check out my example here. right box enables, disables the click event on the left one. Check it out in the console.
I am creating a custom confirmation dialog in Google App Maker and would like the Confirm button to call a passed-in function. I don't see an "onclick" event in the button widget. Any suggestions on how to do this?
function confirmationDialog(msg, confirmFunction)
{
var desc = app.pageFragments.ConfirmationDialog.descendants;
var label = desc.Label;
var confirmButton = desc.Confirm;
label.text = msg;
confirmButton.onClick = confirmFunction; // does not work
app.showDialog(app.pageFragments.ConfirmationDialog);
}
Thanks
It'd be great if this was a bit easier, but the best bet is to use Custom Properties (https://developers.google.com/appmaker/ui/viewfragments).
You can set up a custom property of type "Dynamic" and call it anything, take "onConfirmCallback", for example. Then you can set the function on that custom property:
Code to invoke dialog:
app.pageFragments.ConfirmationDialog.properties.onConfirmCallback = function(param) {
alert(param);
};
app.showDialog(app.pageFragments.ConfirmationDialog);
And then in the onClick for the close button:
app.pageFragments.ConfirmationDialog.properties.onConfirmCallback("hi");
app.closeDialog();
Also note that there are slightly better ways to set up labels than in your example, also using custom properties.
Create custom properties for any widget properties you want to customize, and then bind those custom properties (#properties.propertyName) to the widget property. For example you might have a confirmText property, with the confirm buttons text property boudn to #properties.confirmText.
Then when you invoke your dialog, you can just set those custom properties. Quick modification of your example code using properties for everything:
function confirmationDialog(msg, confirmFunction)
{
var properties = app.pageFragments.ConfirmationDialog.properties;
properties.text = msg;
properties.confirmCallback = confirmFunction;
app.showDialog(app.pageFragments.ConfirmationDialog);
}
For my confirmation dialogs, I just set the onclick of the OK button before I show the dialog (everything is in one place, which is easier for the dummy (me) who will have to maintain it in six months:
var dialog=app.pages.ConfirmationDialog;
dialog.descendants.message.text='Are you sure...?'
dialog.descendants.btnOk.getElement().onclick=function(){
//do something here
app.closeDialog();
});
};
app.showDialog(dialog);
}
I have created an Accordion dynamically and added AccordionPanes through backend with respective controls and data click here to view my problem and how I solved it. I have added a link button in each AccordionPane but now I want to add a click event so that I can access data in that specific pane and I need to use functions to populate data.
I create my controls in the page_init event.
How can I go about doing this?
I have come across a solution that is almost the same as what I want to do.
One way to achieve this is by adding the event handlers with Javascript Like this:
function pageLoad()
{
var accordionControl = $find('Accordion1_AccordionExtender');
accordionControl.add_selectedIndexChanging(PaneChanging);
accordionControl.add_selectedIndexChanged(PaneChanged);
}
function PaneChanged(sender, args)
{
alert('In Changed handler.');
}
function PaneChanging(sender, args)
{
alert('In Changing hanlder.');
}

The specific control you would be looking for is:
$addHandler(header, "click", acc._headerClickHandler);
I understand how to get my current location with HTML5.
How do I add a click handler, so when a button is pressed it shows my current position on the map?
Google's example pretty much explains how it's done, but the button is set to predefined coordinates. How do I attach the "Home" button to current position coordinates instead?
Custom Control Example
From Google demo
navigator.geolocation.getCurrentPosition(function(position) {
initialLocation = new google.maps.LatLng(position.coords.latitude,position.coords.longitude);
map.setCenter(initialLocation);
As initialLocation is global you can use this to set the click event listeners: simply set the map to initialLocation
google.maps.event.addDomListener(controlUI, 'click', function() {
map.setCenter(initialLocation)
});
Please help. I want to add a click event on checkbox that i created dynamically so that i know what checkbox I click.
Heres my code on action script:
var myCheckbox:CheckBox = new CheckBox();
vbox.addChild(myCheckbox);
How to add click event on checkbox?
private function myCheckboxClicked(event:MouseEvent)
{
// doStuff();
}
...
myCheckbox.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, myCheckboxClicked);
As long as it inherits EventDispatcher, you can attach a listener and it'll send events as normal.
