I want to connecting my devices to the projector Display (infocus) using Wireless Display Adapter (Wecast Miracast).
a. When Connecting Smartphone to Miracast, sucessfully without any problems
b. Connecting Notebook/laptop (Windows 10) to Miracast, sucessfully without any problems
c. But when I want to Connecting Personal Computer (Windows 10) to Miracast, not successfully. I use USB Wifi Adapter TP Link TL-WN722N. Wifi successfully paired.
give me suggestions.
thank you very much
Thats because the tp link WLAN Adapter 722n does not support Miracast, even the new driver does not help. Sorry for that.

I am a novice with ESP8266. I have an ESP-05 module connected to my PC USB through CH340 com-port adapter.
I was able to list all networks with AT+CWLAP, but when I put the command to connect to, it shows me a CWJAP:4 error. I tried my home network, the network in my office, and the Wi-Fi network created by my Android phone. The same result always...
AT+GMRAT version:1.3.0.0(Jul 14 2016 18:54:01)
SDK version:2.0.0(5a875ba)
v1.0.0.3
Mar 13 2018 09:35:47
OK
AT+CWMODE=1
OK
AT+CWLAP+CWLAP:(3,"TheSecretChamber",-76,"f0:79:59:d3:00:44",13,68,0)
+CWLAP:(4,"Ufanet_70",-90,"04:5e:a4:76:0d:cf",3,50,0)
+CWLAP:(3,"AndroidAP",-49,"84:98:66:ce:a6:ed",6,66,0)
OK
AT+CWJAP="TheSecretChamber","mypasswordhere"+CWJAP:4
FAIL
The password is 100% valid (I've tried to put the wrong password, in this case, it returns CWJAP:3 as required).
What can be a reason?? Thanks.
I found the solution by myself. It looks like the USB port I used initially has not enough power or it's broken somehow. The network list command is working, but its USB power was not enough to handle transmitting.
I just tried another USB port and it works well.
Thanks all.
I have a very old windows 98 pc that has a network card on PCI that has 2 entrances on it (both RJ-11 one has "in" next to it and the secon
"out").
I'd like to connect this pc to my new laptop which has a normal RJ-45 Ethernet entrance, because I have some files I wanted to transfer out of that old pc. Is there any way to do this?
If cables would be needed to be maked, that's no problem. Of course setting the IPs and all is clear to me, W just want to know if W can connect these computers using an RJ-11 to RJ-45 connection. If that wouldn't be possible, what could work in this situation? (There are no USB ports on this pc and no CD burner)
Also, I wanted to ask, if I connected 2 PCs with RJ-11 cables would the network connection be established in the same way as when I would connect 2 PCs with RJ-45 ethernet cables?
Thanks!
One of options is to connect both to same network and transfer files with network sharing option or with hard disk reader get file's from disk:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Hard-Disk-Drive-SATA-7-15-Pin-22-to-USB-2-0-Adapter-Cable-For-2-5-HDD-Laptop-CY/172688340405?epid=14007489979&hash=item283506f5b5:g:~pAAAOSwK6RZIpDv
or option with adapter to convert output RJ11 to RJ45 and than with normal RJ45 cable connect PC and Laptop. So point is that RJ11 has just 4 wires and is not for same purpose as RJ45 and i think even connection with RJ11 between two PC's will not work, but not sure because i don't never tested that.
I setup my raspberry pi with a wifi connection (from a wifi extender), and had no issues. I could connect to the internet, everything was great.
I then changed my wifi extender, so went to my raspberry pi and logged into the new wireless. It says its connected to the wireless, but I can no longer connect to the internet or the network. Any thoughts?? When I switch back to my original wifi connection / extender, it works fine again.
Thanks
EDIT: This seems to be related to this!

In my opinion, I honestly dislike wireless. You could always get a Ethernet cable and plug it in, and it'll never do the error again. You can find them very cheap, and it's faster than wireless.
But, for some friendly Raspberry Pi reference, if you have another computer (it doesn't matter how old or slow, it'll work either way), you can download VNC Viewer, plug in your Ethernet cable to your Raspberry Pi (or you can use a WiFi adapter too!!), then find your Raspberry Pi's IP address, and use VNC Viewer to control your Raspberry Pi from that other computer. That's what I'm doing.
I hope I help with this :)
This post is to ask for ideas of how to get access the USB devices that are connected to the second PC. I mean that both PC's are in LAN and I would like to see all devices that are connected to the second PC on my first computer like pendrives, printers etc. Any advice will be certainly welcome.
You can use any remote desktop client like teamviewer.
I'm connecting my Arduino Yún to my laptop via USB cable and as I read in Arduino documentation:
When you first power on the Yún, it will create a WiFi network called
ArduinoYun-XXXXXXXXXXXX. Connect your computer to this network.
But in my case nothing appears and I didn't found anything related to this on the web.
I'm running Windows 8.1 on my laptop.
Any idea how I can solve this problem?
It sounds as if something is wrong with the wifi configuration on the Yún. Has it previously been configured? Try resetting the wifi by pressing the "Wifi RST" button for more than five seconds (but less than 30).
More info here.
The question you asked is already answered by #mellbratt. You have successfully configured Yun and connected it to the network (configuration of WiFi by providing SSID and security key in web panel). The thing you have to do now, is to find what IP your Yun device is assigned on that network. You can use tools like Angry IP Scanner to scan the network and find your IP if you cannot access it from myusername.local. Using that IP you can access the web panel.
