Corda Settler on Corda4 - corda

I upgraded the Corda-Settler to the Corda 4 release and added the ripple libraries ripple-core and ripple-bouncycastle in order to make it independent on the local installation.
When I deploy the nodes, I get the following error:

I neither touched the build file for the oracle nor the respective classes or the xrp.conf.
I appreciate any help! Many thanks in advance!

Here is my solution: In com.r3.corda.finance.obligation.oracle.services.XrpOracleService a small change of the code was necessary, the addition of the ClassLoader did the magic
private val nodes by lazy { ConfigFactory.parseResources(javaClass.getClassLoader(), configFileName).getStringList("nodes").mapNotNull(::URI) }
+ //private val nodes by lazy { ConfigFactory.parseResources(configFileName).getStringList("nodes").mapNotNull(::URI) }

The log gives you all the hints in the error stack:
Error deploying deployment descriptor [/Users/mbyousaf/Desktop/Tomcat/conf/Catalina/localhost/alfresco.xml
means you deployment descriptor has an error in the configured module package path:
The directory specified by base and internal path [/Users/mbyousaf/Desktop/Tomcat/../modules/platform]/[] does not exist.
So tomcat does not start the deployed war at all.

Connect sparklyr 0.8.4 to remote spark 2.2.1 connection

I'm trying to connect from R to a remote spark cluster.
The spark cluster is build on debian jessie and the R version i can install on it is at most 3.3 but I need 3.4 to be able to run FactoMineR. So I installed R on another machine and try to connect the cluster using sparklyr 0.8.4
> sc <- spark_connect(master = "spark://spark-cluster-m:7077", spark_home="/usr/lib/spark/", version="2.2.1")
Error in start_shell(master = master, spark_home = spark_home, spark_version = version, :
SPARK_HOME directory '/usr/lib/spark/' not found
spark isn't installed on the local machine but on the spark-cluster-m, it is :
jc#spark-cluster-m:/usr/lib/spark$ ls
bin conf data examples external jars LICENSE licenses NOTICE python R README.md RELEASE sbin work yarn
Have I missed something ?
The spark cluster is on google cloud (test account) and so is the VM with R. How do I verify the port spark can be connected to ?
Thanks for your clues
#user16... You're right, this particular problem seems to be solved but my way is not ended.
I installed the same spark version (2.2.1 with hadoop > 2.7)
Here is my new error message :

I can see it can resolve the name (=> 10.142.0.3)
Also, it seems to be the good port as if I use port 7000, i have the error :
18/07/21 18:32:54 ERROR TransportResponseHandler: Still have 1 requests outstanding when connection from spark-cluster-m/10.142.0.3:7000 is closed

But I can't figure out what this means.
You say my configuration is "particular". If there is a better (and simple) approach, i would be glad to use it.
Here is how I proceeded in my tests :
I created a google dataproc cluster with spark (2.2.1)
I added Cassandra on each node
At this stage, everything works ok.
Then, i need to install FactoMineR as I'd like to try HMFA. It is said to run with R > 3.0.0 so it seems to be ok but it depends on nlme which can't be installed on R < 3.4.0 (and the one in the debian jessie backports is 3.3.)
So, what can I do ?
I must admit that i'm not very enthusiastic in restarting a full spark / cassandra cluster install from scratch...

Artifactory JFrog Backup failing with error code 401

Will appreciate if someone can please guide or provide me pointers to debug the backup issues with Artifactory. Whenever backups are performed - there is always an error message of 401 on /api/v1/system/backup/export in the artifactory.log
The backups exist on backup location but with an error message in the log. Not sure how can debug and implications of this error in the logs. I can see in the stack the rest call is failing, have tried setting a password to unsupported and multiple other things but the error persists. Also checked the Jira on Artifactory to no avail. Any pointers will be greatly appreciated
More details

The backups are failing with following the info in the log.

Thanks for the feedback.
I suspect the reason for the behavior is that for the more common operations Artifactory uses the <adminToken> from the Config Descriptor, however some other operations use credentials saved in $ARTIFACTORY_HOME/etc/security/access/access.creds.
These seem to be bad.
In order to restart these you should:
Create the following file: $ARTIFACTORY_HOME/access/etc/bootstrap.creds
The content of the file should be: access-admin#*=password
The permissions of the file must be 600.
Once that file is in place, restart Artifactory.
Since Artifactory version 5.4 there is a separate service in Artifactory named "Access", which manages permissions and security related configurations.
Artifactory authenticates with Access using an access token that is configured in the "Config Descriptor".
It is possible that this issue will be resolved by a simple restart, so that's what i would have started with.
If this doesn't work, or what i suspect will happen is Artifactory won't be able to start, please do (while Artifactory is shut down):
Remove the <adminToken> tag from the $ARTIFACTORY_HOME/etc/artifactory.config.latest.xml
$ cp artifactory.config.latest.xml artifactory.config.import.xml
Restart Artifactory.

Not able to connect to corda nodes if devmode is false

I followed the guide from here https://docs.corda.net/permissioning.html from issuance of nodes certificates where i would create keys & certificates and sign root -> intermediate -> node -> SSL, and chaining the certificate among them to get the three (.jks) files.
When the network is in dev mode, I am able to bring a node up without errors but due to the certificate it will not start up as the network map does not recognise the node I assume.
With that in mind, I am trying to change the network map and the whole network to a non-devmode environment, when I start the networkmap up I seem to face java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException: Path does not chain with any of the trust anchors in the logs, however on the interface I could see the network map is started up.
When I use the same root & intermediate keys to register another node into the network I am facing with the error: org.apache.activemq.artemis.api.core.ActiveMQSecurityException: AMQ119031: Unable to validate user
PS: I also tried to:
Replicate the way dev mode created network map certificates instead of
where the network map assigns a certificate (another level) as a
corda.simple.notary
Replicate network map certificate in this structure:
https://github.com/corda/corda/blob/master/docs/source/permissioning.rst
where root signs them and bypasses the intermediate CA
Any tips on how to bring up the network in a non-dev environment?
Edit: i am using keytool to do the functions

The error message is from ArtemisMessagingServer, which uses the node's TLS certificate. The message indicates that either the TLS certificate chain is set up incorrectly, or the root certificate in the node's truststore is wrong. Unfortunately, this is a java.security error, not a Corda error, and it doesn't provide information on the exact cause of the issue.
Your TLS certificate should have the following chain:
TLS certificate -> node CA certificate -> intermediate CA certificate -> root CA certificate
All of these certificates' keys should use a TLS-compatible algorithm (not EdDSA).

The file
alf_data/contentstore/2016/3/2/7/32/78b6eff0-8082-4ed5-9d43-d3adad1f6a6b.bin
has been deleted. We have no way to know what this file contained two day ago.
You will have to make a clean Alfresco installation and start again.
Make sure you are completely wiping out the database and the content store between each installation. If this log is from a fresh install, I think it may be missing the schema creation step, which means the database already exists which should not be the case for a fresh install.
If you are clearing out the content store but not the database, Alfresco will look for nodes that exist in the DB but no longer exist on the file system, which is essentially a corrupted repository.
