I try to get back an user (using getUser) from an other Entity (Slider); but this error is triggered:
The target-entity User cannot be found in 'App\Entity\Slider#user'.

I really don't understand what is wrong there, I also have read some other topic here, but none of them were able to unlock me.
I'm pretty sure the issue is quite simple, but I can't solve it.

Remove all backslashes before User, so instead of \User it should be just User :)

Doctrine. One to many. How to write annotations?

I have a OneToMany relation between two tables 'user' and 'profil'
(a user has one only profile, and a profile can be asseigned to many users)

You have syntax mistake.
#ORMManyToOne - this is mistake.
#ORM\ManyToOne(targetEntity="Profil", inversedBy="users")
Above will be correct. And everywhere you use ORM You need to write ORM\something. ORM - is just a namespace, or simply path to the ORM classes in doctrine vendor directory!
Every class name should start with capital letter. It is a wright way! So you should write class User, but not class user!
You didn't show in Profil class, that you have a lot of users to each profil. the users field will be of array collection type (simple array but with useful methods.) So in Profil class in __construct() method:

doctrine2 no metadata classes to process

I'm in a deadend and can't seem to find my way out of this apparently simple problem.
I'm working with Symfony2 and trying to create a database table from an Entity that I generated with the generate:doctrine:entity command. But when I run doctrine:schema:create I always get a "No Metadata Classes to process" message like Doctrine can't find my entity.
I checked the database, the namespace, the annotations, tried creating other entities manually instead of by using the generate:doctrine:entity command but I always get the same result.

Something weird happened to me when I put my entity class in a directory called Models, so my namespace was:
AppBundle\Models
But it didn't work.
So I removed that folder and create another folder exactly named Entity and it worked.
So try to remove BlogBundle and put your Entity folder right under you Appbundle folder
Most of the time This error come because of entity path issue and cache
run command first
doctrine:cache:clear-metadata
and then try
doctrine:schema:create
I had the same problem. Try to remove Blogger from your namespace:

Your mapping looks incorrect. The ManyToOne declaration does not need an inversedBy attribute if you're not using a join table. You also do not need to specify the #var since it already knows it's using the entity. Try this:

One other thing to do is to check that you're not trying to declare the same entity in another bundle, this will also cause the "table already exists" error.

I've looked at literally tons of questions/answers on Stack Overflow and other places on the web, but cannot find a resolution to this problem.

So a many 'sources' can belong to one 'project'.

If this is exactly your code, i dont see a namespace in your Project class. Try adding the namespace line "namespace Docker\ApiBundle\Entity;".
If this is the same folder no need for "use" but if it s part of other bundle or folder try putting a line like "use Docker\ApiBundle\Entity\Project;"

Add field with OneToOne relation in FOSUser register form

I need your help to add some field in my register form in FOSUSerBundle.
I want to localize a user and save his latitude/longitude in the register form.
I create a oneToOne relation between my User entity and my Localisation entity, but I don't see where I could put my code to set the latitude and longitude of the user at the register phase.
Did I have to override the register controller, or some event ? I just don't see where put my code...

You have to override/extend the existing RegistrationFormType. See overriding forms in the docs. In your type you add the location as sub form. So you have to create a LocationFormType too.
If you need to process some logig, you have to hook into the controller with events. Unfortunately events are only available in dev-master yet, not in the stable releases. If you forced to use the stable release, you have to override the controller and copy all the logic from the old one and then add your logic.
