To disable SSL validation you can add this line to onCreate (MainActivity) and FinishedLaunching (AppDelegate).
System.Net.ServicePointManager.ServerCertificateValidationCallback = delegate { return true; };

That call happens here in the code on the window unload event and is used to tell the signalr server that you are disconnecting.
If you are seeing a lot of these it may be that your proxy is not configured correctly for websocket connections.

Hi I am trying to build one Application in Xamarin forms which has huge dependency on location services.
Using Xamarin.Essentials I am able to get the location, but in Android its give the last known location and sometime its not that much accurate.
Problem 1.
But I am not able to add Location Listener so that once user change location, I can get notified.
Problem 2.
How to exactly know whether user has disabled Phone Location or App Location ?

I don't know, but i think Xamarin.Essentials doesn't have Location Listener feature yet, might be wrong, but you can use this plugin from jamesmontemagno (also a main developer of Xamarin.Essentials), this plugin can track geolocation changes like this:

Following the documentation here, you receive an exception for the following cases: permission was not granted or if the location is not enabled/supported

After upgrading to com.crashlytics.sdk.android:crashlytics:2.7.1#aar (from 2.6.8), I can't disable Crashlytics anymore in my Firebase app.
Looks like there's some code in Crashlytics library itself that initializes Fabric with Crashlytics kit enabled whenever it detects that it's running inside a Firebase application. Indeed initializing with Crashlytics enabled and with ext.enableCrashlytics = false throws an UnmetDependencyException and crashes the app at startup (in fact, before my code in Application.onCreate runs).
Does anyone know a workaround for that? Sticking with 2.6.8 works for now.

If you are setting firebase crash properties somewhere in your code, make sure that you don't set them for debug code, otherwise you might notice strange behaviour for the app.

i got this error while connecting to my app with azure cloud via google authentication
"403. that's an error. error: disallowed _useragent this user- agent is not permitted to make on oauth authorization request to google as it is calssified as an embedded user- agent per our policy ,only browsers are permitted to make authorization request to google. we offer several libraries and samples for native apps to perform authorization request in the browser."

This happens from last year because of a change in Google's security policy. The work around is to use Xamarin.Auth and use Interceptors in the native codes to catch the Authentication process. A good example is available in this following link Xamarin Authentication

I'm currently building an android application using ionic/ngcordova. I'm at the point of implementing push notifications. I've implemented push notifications as a service which is injected at app.run(function(){..}) stage. The registration part works and I receive a callback containing the regid. Also, when the application is in the active state, the event is raised and the notification is received.
The problem I'm having is that when the application goes into the background, the notifications are not received at all. I would expect that a local notification would be raised when the app isn't running or something similar, but absolutely nothing happens, which is weird.
I've trawled the web for the last couple of days looking for a solution but I've been unable to find anything which kind of indicates to me that it should just work.

For anyone else who's been pulling their hair out for a couple of days like I have, the solution was really simple...I was missing two properties in my Pushsharp QueueNotification request. So using the example given on the PushSharp github repo here: https://github.com/Redth/PushSharp#sample-code
