Ok , i want to build a store that sale a various of products one of these is
courses training, every student choose one of a training courses as product and checkout after,in the order email we will find all the student's details with training courses detail(date ,place and trainer)the name of products that is buy and each order has a unique QR code that will be scanned and verify if the student has a order(exist or not) plz help me ?
Without knowing anything of WooCommerce or Wordpress I would suggest:
Adding a 'Custom order metadata item' with a unique ID:
Check:'Add custom order item meta data'
Maybe this is unnecessary and you can reuse the plain ID from the order
Then 'Dynamically generating a QR code with PHP' to render the QR

I'm using a CSV to update product pricing rather than using the WooCommerce UI. The product ID's are respected and will be skipped by the Importer. Product Variations on the other hand do not have their ID's respected and the system will create new versions of the variations whenever I run the importer. This could be a problem as I want the Importer to not generate new product variations if the user uploading the CSV forgets to tick "Update Existing Products".
I have tried using the CSV to create the variations and then backfilling their ID's into the CSV. This did not help and instead the system still created new Product Variations for each Variant
Update:
Turns out WooCommerce just seemingly ignores the ID column and relies entirely on each Variant having a unique SKU.
So I set-up an excel formula to generate a unique SKU for each product and now it works as expected.
Background:
I inherited a website with a tremendously bloated product database. There are around 260 actual products which are translated using WPML into English and French which should make it for a total of 520 posts (for each product there is one same SKU two different IDs). However the total count of products in published status is over 720.
I exported all my products and realized that there is a third instance of some products with the same SKU and yet another ID but they are not associated to any category i.e The 'Categories' field is empty.
These are not variants are just ghost instances of the parent products.
Problem to solve:
I need to get rid of those 'ghost' products that have no Categories association. (I do have the list of offender IDs as a CSV)
If possible I would like to understand what those extra products. Can they be untranslated versions of the listing? are they just corrupted/invalid records?
I can do SQL or plugin or whatever it takes.
Difference in Product Count that shows invalid products
Thanks!
I've solved the problem by using the CLI shell in WordPress.
By simply SSHing into the backend I used the following syntax
wp wc product delete <ID> for trashing the product and you can add the --force to permanently delete it.
Having the list of offender IDs I just simply wrote a shell script that executed all the commands sequentially.
I am using WordPress woocommerce. And using "List WooCommerce Product Feed to Amazon Marketplace" plugin for amazon listing from website. But in Report section I am getting below error:
Feed Processing Summary:
Number of records processed 1
Number of records successful 0
original-record-number sku error-code error-type error-message
1 67715 8560 Error SKU 67715, Missing Attributes standard_product_id. SKU 67715 doesn't match any ASINs. Make sure that all standard product ids (such as UPC, ISBN, EAN, or JAN codes) are correct. To create a new ASIN, include the following attributes: standard_product_id. Feed ID: 0. For more troubleshooting help, see http://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/errorcode/200692370
I have added GTIN in product and my GTIN # is: 677151310900
Kindly help me to solve this problem, also suggest if any better idea for listing in amazon.
Thanks in advance
Most probably, This kind of error occurs when any product is uploaded with different products information for any standard product ids like for your case having GTIN 677151310900 might be already listed by another seller with some other attributes values due to which they got failed to map those details with your products SKU information. In that case, they were asking to send only limited value such as you can just modify the products description, price, title and quantity rather than creating same products with others your custom data in Amazon catalog.
Thanks!
I was looking for a way to build a custom loop to get the products flagged with the "new" label.
I could use the sort from the insert time, but that would always include a certain number of products, my goal here is to get those products that conform to the WooCommerce setting that says the product is considered new for a given number of days.
i have a free plugin - WooCommerce Product Badge, it has your requested feature to display "New" label with certain days defined.
I'm new to Commerce I hope some kind fellow could give me some directions here.
I am creating an ecommerce website for a printing company. I will give an example of what I require
For instance they will offer A6 flyers but these come in different specifications each with differing prices
Here is an example:
http://4frontdesigns.co.uk/Untitled-1.jpg
So down the left column are quantities of flyers and along thw top different speciifications of those flyers with the prices shown in the middle.
Any help much appreciated
Can I just add each variation of these one by one as it is not possible to just say that a certain additional attribute to the product will add so much $$ to the base price.
Would I just add each variation one by one then some how pull these all into one display?
You could use the commerce price table module like Flo suggested or look at the Price attributes Module https://www.drupal.org/project/commerce_pricing_attributes
It uses option sets and then add to (or subtract from) the price based on the selected attribute.
The answer for me was to create each product variation as its own product. So every variation gets added as a separate product.
If you are wondering how to add different variations to product such as paper size or colour, you would do this with taxonomy. Simply create a taxonomy term called colour and then add all the colours into this term that you would require.
Then when you create your product type in commerce, you would add this as an option to choose from when adding products by doing the following. Go to manange fields for the product type you want to add it for and add a new field, type of data = term reference. You will then select the desired taxonomy term and also there will be an option to 'Enable this field to function as an attribute field on Add to Cart forms.' - You want to select this!
Then what you do is create a product display and pull all these in to a single page, which then gives you drop down options to change, and the price changes accordingly in real time.
You can create a product display by creating a new content type first, call it product display... Then add a field to this content type which is a 'product reference'.
Now add new content, pick to create a product display (what we have just created) and choose the products that you want to appear on that page.
Then automatically Drupal Commerce will take care of the rest. Hope this helps someone!
