Change animation after popup is shown - xamarin.forms

Is it possible to change the animation on a Rg.Plugins.Popup after it has been shown. I have tried binding the Animation property to a viewmodel and change the animation before popup is commanded to disappear, but popup still use old animation.

I figured it out.
FYI
Use this method to change animation after popup is shown.
protected override void OnDisappearingAnimationBegin()

How to disable hover on QTreeWidget during mouseMove()?

I have created my own custom QTreeWidget, and overrided the mouseMoveEvent.
It looks something like the below,
MyTreeWidget::mouseMoveEvent(QMouseEvent* aEvent)
{
QTreeWidget::mouseMoveEvent(aEvent); // This line causes the issue
// My logic
}
I'm getting a hovering effect on the treewidget, when mouseMove happens (This is not expected). I have also set the focus (Qt::WA_MacShowFocusRect) to be false. But still, see the hover effect when I move the mouse in and out. I found out this is because of the line - QTreeWidget::mouseMoveEvent(aEvent), which calls the base class implementation which sets the hover. But, I need that to be called to support reorder of tree items, when mouseTracking is enabled.
I don't find any way to unset the hover events. Any help around this?

removing/toggling CSS class from extjs 4.2 button

Is there any working example of toggling or removing CSS class from ExtJS 4.2 component, xtype: button in particular?
I have found and tried a method from API, but no effect. If the method is working for you, would you explain what I did wrong?
button.removeCls("sample-button-over");
You have to add both mouseover and mouseout eventsto button. On mouseover, check the condition whether it is pressed or not, if not pressed add the CSS class, and remove the class on mouseout. It should work

asp.net ajax hovermenuextender on modalpopupextender z-index problem

i have an asp.net ajax hovermenuextender on a modalpopup panel to display a tip on hover.
the problem is the (tip) panel with the hovermenuextender appears below the modalpopupextender in IE8
this is a z-index issue, is there any place in the page where i can set the z-index for the hovermenu so that it appears over modalpopup,
i learnt that this change could be made in the PopupBehavior.js file from here:
http://ajaxcontroltoolkit.codeplex.com/workitem/26107
but i am using the Ajaxcontroltoolkit.dll in the project and its not possible to modify the ajax javascript source files.
thanks in advance.
I have running version AJAX 3.0 and adjusting the z-index did the trick. Thank you!
Make sure your PopupMenu container has higher z-index than the modal popup control. If you use Firefox with Firebug plugin you can find it easily when the page gets rendered. Just right click on the modal popup background -> Inspect element with Firebug -> on the right side swap to the "Computed" tab and you will find the current z-index in the object properties.
In the CSS classes for your Modal Popup and the Model Background you can try adding an overriding z-index entry that is less than the default for the hover menu popup. Something like:
.dialog {
z-index: 99 !important;
}
.dialog-bkg {
z-index: 90 !important;
}
Apply the "dialog" class to your modal popup panel, and supply the "dialog-bkg" class in the BackgroundCssClass property of the ModalPopupExtender.
I don't know if it will solve the issue with the hover menu -- but it may be worth a try.
BTW -- I just tested with version 4.1.404 of the Ajax Control Toolkit and I was able to use a hover menu on top of a modal popup without needing any changes...

jQuery click class change IE weirdness

I may be trying to get too fancy on this one.
I have a pair of radio-like buttons in a row with a divider between them with background images. When one of the 'buttons' is clicked, I change its class. The CSS for the divider is keyed to the classes of the buttons on either side to select a background image. I am doing this with CSS 'sibling' selectors.
I have jQuery .click events tied to the 'buttons'. the first thing they do is clear the 'selected' class from the other button and set it on the button that was clicked.
For example, if the LEFT button class='selected' and the RIGHT button is not, the divider between them will get a blue background. Click on the RIGHT button and it gets class='selected' while the LEFT button's class is cleared. The divider turns red.
This works in IE, FF, Safari, etc. But IE is odd (IE7) - it will only reflect the divider background change when I mouse OFF the button I clicked! That is, in the example, the RIGHT button gets class='selected' and changes immediately on the click. But the divider stays blue until I mouse off the button, then it turns red.
The class itself IS changing and the button's appearance changes as a result. It's only the neighboring stuff that doesn't!?
It reminds me of my old VB6 days when you had to periodically call 'DoEvents' to get Windows to make UI changes. Could there be something similar here for IE?
I have no idea why this helps, but adding .hide().show() to a selector that includes the stuff that changed class seems to make it update.
I've read that using setAttribute to change the class will force IE7 to re-render the styles. Try that, and if it still fails, I've solved a similar IE7 problem by rewriting the html, which forced IE7 to re-render (using jquery):
if ($("html").hasClass("ie7")){
var tempHolder = $("#ajaxresults").html();
$("#ajaxresults").html(tempHolder);
}
As for giving the html or body tag the ie7 class, I recommend taking a look at html5boilerplate.com. If for some reason you can't use their solution, the jquery for it is:
if ($.browser.msie){
if ($.browser.version < 8){
$("html").addClass("ie ie7");
}
else {
$("html").addClass("ie");
}
}

Add Button in TabNavigator Header

i want to add minmun/maximum button on tabnavigator header.......how i could be possible
put the tab navigator and a button in a canvas
set the X and Y of button Y=0 and X=tabnavigator.width - button-width-10
on click of button use Resize function set HeightTo=0 and heightFrom= tabnavigator.width
then play() the resize
to restore heightFrom=0 and heightTo=previous size of navigator
then you got the illusion of minimizing ang maxizing the tab navigator.. please do add some more effects of your desire..
Hope this gives you a idea on it..
Forget how it looks at first. Create a button that simply hides the TabNavigator. I'm sure there are plenty of tutorials out there on how to animate show/hide. Once you have that, move the button where you want it and style it as you wish.
Ive never heard of a tabNavigator header, but if you mean adding buttons to the tabs themselves, then theres an example and source code you could work from with FlexLib SuperTabNavigator
