I have searched if this issue was previously asked, but it seems that other questions are quite similar, but not exactly.
What I want to do is simple :
-change Excel default Icon. (when navigating in folders & desktop of my user session)
For your information : I use Windows 7.
Anyone can help me please ?
Thanks
right click, properties, shortcut, change Icon, you can see that the icon set is here:
%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Office\Root\VFS\Windows\Installer{90160000-000F-0000-1000-0000000FF1CE}\xlicons.exe
Here you can select any other Icon, but to change the defult, I am pretty sure you need to replace the xlicons.exe file.

I am a retired Linux user and I am now only working on Windows 10. There is a super simple feature that I used a lot on Linux "Stay on top".
I don't understand why, but it's never been a feature on Windows whereas it is super useful especially when you program.
I tried a bunch of software to do that but none are as convenient as right click on the top toolbar of Windows 10 and select "Stay on top".
Is there a way using a script or something else to do this on my own ? I think it should be easy but I'm lacking english keywords to find this.

This is the link to an image showing the menu where I want the option to be. (I can't directly post it here :'( )
Thank you for your help, I hope I've been clear enough.
Please, if anybody knows how to solve this disaster.
I have erased my style.css content in Atom editor and then the editor crashed. Now, the file is blank.
However, I have opened the webiste in several Firefox tabs as well as in Chrome and Opera.
Please, can you help me to find a way how to get the style.css file back.
There should be a way how to get it if it's in browser opened.
I have solved this guys ;D !!!
So, if anybody needs to solve this in the future, the key is to select "Live Edit" instead of "Source Edit" and select the css file from the select box on the left and then copy the stuff that will show up. Source edit will show nothing aka blank page content.
Here is what I mean:
Try to get the CSS from Google Web Cache - check this. Maybe Google saved the page you were working on, IF it was publicly available.
I use Atom 1.8.0 on Windows 7.
The keymapping says, 'ctrl-alt-f2' with selector '.platform-win32 atom-text-editor'. If I press the combination of buttons, nothing happens.
I mapped the bookmark toggle operation to another key mapping ('ctrl-shift-1') just to see if it works, and it works. My problem of bookmarking is solved, but I wanted to know why the default combination is not working.
What am I doing wrong ? How can I trouble shoot this to find the root cause ?
The keybinding-resolver is a great way to detect conflicting keyboard shortcuts. If there are conflicts, you can use unset! to disable existing shortcuts.
If the problem persists, make sure the same shortcut isn't used globally. There is a GitHub issue reporting the Intel Graphics Control Panel is using the same shortcut globally.
Sorry if this is the wrong place to answer but I found no other community which could help me with this. I accidentally closed the left-sidebar that shows the currently open project and it's files. Not sure what it's called, maybe navigation, folder view, either way, I tried pressing nearly every key combination to no results. I tried searching in the command palette for something that looked like "open project sidebar" but nothing. Now I'm stuck having no idea how to restore my primary navigation means when working with Atom. I tried opening multiple projects but I just get a black screen without the project sidebar, like it was hidden.
Any ideas?
I'm talking about this sidebar:
It is called "Tree-View".
You should be able to enable it via command pallete or ctrl + ,
It depends on your OS. On Mac OS X, it's CMD-\ (Command-Backslash) to toggle it. The option located on the View menu, called Toggle Tree View (the last menu option).
I installed Photoshop-CC that time it was working correctly but after installing few font's of mine and overwriting few fonts, all the text using default Photoshop font get disappeared.
Text disappeared from all the popup window and other side bars .
when you will open your psd file so one popup will appear on you screen.
"some text layers might need to update before the can be used for vector based output. Do you want to update these layers now?"
your just click to update. problem will solve.
if problem will not solved.
you just do below process.
Holding down the Alt + Ctrl + and Shift keys while starting up Photoshop will cause a dialog box to appear. You will be prompted to delete your Photoshop settings file.
Choosing yes will delete the settings file that Photoshop creates and updates whenever you make a change in your settings.
This will defiantly work for you.
