How to refresh without cache on Chrome iOS - css

I'm developing a website for fun and to learn and I'm trying it on my iPad too running Chrome.
Every time I have to make some changes to the CSS, though, I would have had to clear the cache going into Settings->History and cleaning it manually.
Is there an easier way?

If you guys have a keyboard connected to your iPad (I personally have the Logitech Type +) you can hit
Fn+Cmd+R
on your bluetooth keyboard and it will do the trick.
Already saved my life a couple times.

Piczard SimpleImageUpload not loading image

I have the Piczard SimpleImageUploader in a asp.net based management tool for a product catalog that seems to work just fine for most users, but for some users, the Edit popup will show, but then the image does not load. The logo and progress will just stay there and never move. Users are typically in IE 11 on a Windows 7 PC. We have tried in other browsers, but FF and Chrome seem to not allow the popup at all, probably due to the branching of Flash, which Piczard seems to need to run.
Could there be a setting in IE that is blocking the image from uploading? The tool worked just fine for the user a few months ago, but recently has not be cooperating. I was thinking it could be a Group Policy, but I have not been able to confirm that yet.
Any leads are appreciated.
Windows updates, IE Advanced settings Reset and a reboot fixed the problem this time. I do not know which setting or update fixed the issue at this point, just that it did. I had done the reset before but that alone was not enough to fix the problem.

WORDPRESS Background video lagging but not on preview

I have a very weird problem with my http://gambit.co site. Im using Visual Composer plugin with child of twentysixteen theme. When i run site normally then background video is stuttering. Offcourse when you pause it and wait a little bit then after awhile it runs smoothly. But not from the stright beginning.
But when i log in, go to edit screen of my page and run a preview of it then it runs much better (without stuttering).
I tested it on chrome, opera and firefox, all in private mode to make sure they didnt use previously buffered video. Result is always the same.
Ive already sent a question to VC developers but i have a feeling that this problem is connected with something else.
Have you tried to chache the Video on the Webserver? Maybe you can use a code to let the Visitor buffer the Video first before he can play it smooth?

How to develop website/application to view in tablet pc?

I am developing website and it has to be viewed in tablet pc. Please suggest me what are things to be considered ? technology wise ?
also i need to know what are the tools i need to have to view in my intranet as well as.
A major issue: in many tablets there is no moving pointer - at least not in a fully usable form. That means that tooltips may not really work, and image maps must be really clear, since there is no highlighting until the user actually "clicks" on the link.
Well, actually that's not fully accurate - if the user drags the pointer, it should work like a regular mouse pointer. The problem is that most users avoid dragging and just tap where they want to click directly.
Best piece of advice I can offer: get an actual tablet PC and try browsing your site. Most major issues will be evident almost immediately. If you are able, get a regular tablet/pad user to beta-test your site without trying it out on a desktop PC - they would be able to see issues that you would miss due to your prior knowledge of the site.
The Tablet PC is a standard Windows machine, therefore it has the same browser support as any other Windows box. So there isn't any special technology required.
There are however some design considerations:
First, make sure your layout has plenty of empty space surrounding iterative elements. Crammed pages are tough to navigate with a stylus, and if it is one of the newer models that also support touch it is even more of an issue.
Second, most Tablet PCs are configured with the default font size set for 125%. You want to make sure that your web pages scale correctly and don't end up requiring horizontal scrolling to see the full width of the page.
A second point regarding scaling, Tablet PC supports both Landscape and Portrait modes. In other words, it can be 1024x768 OR 768x1024. You'll want to make sure that your user experience is acceptable in both modes.
One thing i can think of : there is no 'hover' on most tablets, and if it's there at all, likely nobody will see it.
Not all tablets support flash, but they do all support javascript, and Prototype.JS or jQuery will run on them in most cases

iPhone Simulator slow and jerky

My problem is that when ever the iPhone has to push a view (like the keyboard) it takes a really long time (15+ seconds).
I never used to have this problem with the simulator, but after I updated xcode to 3.2.3, the simulator is almost un-usable for anything which requires a keyboard.
For example, on the simulator the springboard app (the one which stores your icons and has the search pane to the far left). When I scroll all the way over to the search, the keyboard pops up immediately but it takes a very long time for it to register any taps and the entire simulator becomes unresponsive.
This happens with any app.
Also, sometimes it can take a very long time for the keyboard to even show.
I'd really appreciate any thoughts!
In my case this was being caused by the NSZombieEnabled flag. Try disabling that if you have it set and the MKMapView may come "back to life".
EDIT: Unfortunately my problem just came back, so the above did not solve this problem. Sorry!
Finally solved this over here. In my case it was caused by a bad stick of RAM. OWC has a good article about checking for bad RAM DIMMs over here: http://eshop.macsales.com/Search/displayFAQDetails.cfm?ID=355 - maybe worth a shot. I re-seated my 2 risers in my Mac Pro, and the simulator is buttery smooth again!
Remember that using shiftkey you can toggle simulator animations slower or faster
pushing down shift for about 2 to 3 seconds toggle simulator to slow/fast animation

In what situations does Flash / SWF misbehave in different browsers?

Recently I had some issues with Flash in IE, involving a SWF which is something like a gallery.
In Firefox its loads perfectly, but in IE it doesn't work properly sometimes. The first time it is loaded its works fine but when I refresh all the images are blank. The image data came from XML.
I wish to get some tips regarding the browsers and Flash / SWF behavior in each.
Thanks in advance.
I once faced a similar problem. IE first displays image properly. Upon refresh it didn't display the image. The problem was with the IE security settings on scripting languages. If the script fails to load properly on first time, IE blacklists the script and hence blocks it from running again. When u reset the security settings it will work. But you should still get into the bottomline of the issue and fix it.
Thanks,
Nirmal
