Appium creates driver very slowly. (Inspector loads elements tree very slowly.) - webdriver

The problem
The app can be launched quickly when I use the Appium Desktop to create a session for inspector, but it takes too long to load the elements tree for inspector. This phenomenon happens only in some apps.
Environment
Appium version (or git revision) that exhibits the issue: Appium Desktop 1.6.1 (Appium Server 1.8.0)
Last Appium version that did not exhibit the issue (if applicable):
Desktop OS/version used to run Appium:MacOS 10.13.5
Node.js version (unless using Appium.app|exe):10.1.0
Mobile platform/version under test:iOS 10.3.3
Real device or emulator/simulator:iPhone 7 real device
Appium CLI or Appium.app|exe:
Details
It's about 5 minutes to get a response loading the elements tree.

I sloved it following this citation Creating session takes over 5 minutes now with Xcode 9.
Just add capability: waitForQuiescence = false

Not able to use realtime local emulator database

I followed some tutorials to use local emulators on my laptop.
the installation went well and I could start the emulator.
I see the realtime Database in green and can see the empty DB.
But from there, I am not able to do anything at all:
Import a DB: I get the following error: "NetworkError when attempting to fetch resource."
Adding some fields/Values in the Database from the GUI:
- I don't have any "+" sign to add values.
- I cannot save the values I put.
- I can see "Edit" or "Delete" button, but they have no effect...
There is something going wrong somewhere and that may be due to some config, but I don't know what that should be.
I don't find documentation relatively and did not find any "Google" article relatively.
Any support would be very welcome as I am currently blocked with my project.
Thank you.

Cannot run flow in corda node

I am running a corda network on kubernetes (corda version 4.4) and I am trying to install and run a cordapp .
The cordapp am trying to run is the Heartbeat one (from the github corda sample folder) .
But whenever I try to start the flow using the command start StartHeartbeatFlow
I get the following error message :
[INFO] 11:00:32+0200 [pool-2-thread-11] shell.StartShellCommand.main - Executing command "start StartHeartbeatFlow <no arguments>",
start StartHeartbeatFlow: exception: com.heartbeat.StartHeartbeatFlow

Which doesn't really help me on how to solve the issue :/
Running flow list is listing the StartHeartbeatFlow so it's not an issue with the installation of the cordapp ...
Has anyone encountered the same kind of issue ?
Thanks !
Edit : The logs in the corda node I have when I execute the flow start StartHeartbeatFlow command .

I could invoke the flow from the standalone shell , I was having some weird issues with the /cordapp folder holding my cordapp locally . I deleted it and recreated it and now it works .
Can you update your question with more stack trace? Are there any other errors in your node's log file? I'm asking because I just tried the example and it worked for me.
Here's what I did:
Built the Java version:
// Browse to Java files.
cd /heartbeat/contracts-java
// Build the nodes (Notary and PartyA).
./../gradlew deployNodes
Start the nodes (I don't like using runnodes task, so I start each node individually):
// Terminal 1 (Notary).
cd /heartbeat/contracts-java/build/nodes/Notary
// Start the Notary.
java -jar corda.jar
// Terminal 2 (PartyA).
cd /heartbeat/contracts-java/build/nodes/PartyA
// Start PartyA.
java -jar corda.jar
Start the flow inside of PartyA's terminal. Notice that I use flow start instead of just start (like in your case); it's worth trying flow start, even though both should work:
flow start StartHeartbeatFlow
You will see in my screenshot below that the flow completed (i.e. it created the SchedulableState that will start the flow again, which will lead to an endless loop until you shutdown the node):
Now I can watch that flow being called again and again by typing the below in PartyA's terminal:
flow watch
I could invoke the flow from the standalone shell , I was having some weird issues with the /cordapp folder holding my cordapp locally . I deleted it and recreated it and now it works .

Airflow execution_timeout settings not respected

In my tasks, I have execution_timeout=timedelta(minutes=1) set in my task and 'dagrun_timeout': timedelta(minutes=2) for my DAG, and this is correctly reflected in the web GUI's Task Instance Details. However, none of my task instances are actually set to failed or retry when breaching the one minute threshold. Rather, they time out at 11 minutes...
[2017-11-02 18:00:05,376] {base_task_runner.py:95} INFO - Subtask: [2017-11-02 18:00:05,370] {base_hook.py:67} INFO - Using connection to: [REDACTED]
[2017-11-02 18:10:06,505] {base_task_runner.py:95} INFO - Subtask: [2017-11-02 18:10:06,504] {timeout.py:37} ERROR - Process timed out
Do I have a problem with my configuration, or is there something buggy happening with how Airflow interprets time out settings?

Issue in receiving Push Notifications in iOS

I face some issues in receiving push notification from 2 different servers. The servers' backend code is written in Java and I have used javapns library for apple push notifications. When I receive notification (from one of the servers), I get the following log statements,
2015-11-06/12:17:15.829 [DEBUG] [] [javapns.notification.Payload] - Adding alert [Alert Message]
2015-11-06/12:17:16.054 [DEBUG] [] [javapns.communication.ConnectionToAppleServer] - Creating SSLSocketFactory
2015-11-06/12:17:16.127 [DEBUG] [] [javapns.communication.ConnectionToAppleServer] - Creating SSLSocket to gateway.sandbox.push.apple.com:2195
2015-11-06/12:17:16.776 [DEBUG] [] [javapns.notification.PushNotificationManager] - Initialized Connection to Host: [gateway.sandbox.push.apple.com] Port: [2195]: 6644621c[SSL_NULL_WITH_NULL_NULL: Socket[addr=gateway.sandbox.push.apple.com/17.172.232.45,port=2195,localport=57181]]

2015-11-06/12:17:16.779 [DEBUG] [] [javapns.notification.PushNotificationManager] - Built raw message ID 1 of total length 91

2015-11-06/12:17:16.779 [DEBUG] [] [javapns.notification.PushNotificationManager] - to device: e61aa2adfa16449f894b317ea3b4dbbfe4589000abdec7c8c0eb3c7b92654e4c

2015-11-06/12:17:22.698 [DEBUG] [] [javapns.notification.PushNotificationManager] - Closing connection
But, when I do not receive the notification (from the other server), I get the following log,
2015-11-20/13:37:50.539 [DEBUG] [] [javapns.notification.Payload] - Adding alert [Alert Message]
2015-11-20/13:37:50.543 [DEBUG] [] [javapns.notification.PushNotificationManager] - Reading responses
2015-11-20/13:37:50.545 [DEBUG] [] [javapns.notification.PushNotificationManager] - Closing connection
Here, I am not getting any log statements regarding the creation of SSL Socket Factory or other highlighted texts. And the ConnectionToAppleServer class is not getting called. So, I doubt whether I am missing any jar files.
NOTE: I am using same development certificate in both the servers.
Any help will be appreciated.
The problem was not with the developer certificates or any jar files related to iOS. The server code was written to send notifications to both android and iOS. And some jar files related with android were missing. So, in the back end, the control dint reach the part where the code to send iOS notifications was written. That was the problem. Once, those jar files are added, everything works fine!!
