Wordpress Learndash LMS with custom theme? - wordpress

Hi I wanted to ask a quick question, I`m about to get a project form a client who wants to use the Learndash LMS but he also wants to make a custom theme and not use the premium wp & learndash themes.. I just wanted to have an opinion from you guys is that recommended ? and does Learndash LMS require any "special" development for the theme or it will work on any theme including custom made themes.
Thank you for your time even if I dont know if this is the right place to ask these type of questions.

Applying a different Wordpress Template to a different wordpress theme

I purchased a wordpress theme as shown in the url here https://seosight.crumina.net/. Since then i have changed my mind and browsed for ready made templates and happy with the template located here https://themes.semicolonweb.com/html/canvas/demo-seo.html
However, since i purchased the theme, can i buy and push the templates in the existing themes with minimal work or do i need a wordpress developer?
The short answer: no, you can't.
The themes aren't only a PHP template. The also have css and JavaScript files. And also some php custom functions.
The best way to replicate the page you like is with a designer, like Elementor, Divi, Oxygen, etc. Or better yet, with a developer :)

Can a bootstrap theme I created and connected to WordPress have plugins added, so I can add a news feed, events feed and calendar to my website pages?

The site is a charity site, which is expected to have a news feed of goings on within the charity and events. Most of the home page is complete. But I don't know exactly how to write the code for an article in bootstrap, so that when I upload it to WordPress, it will interact properly. Allowing me to create new articles, remove old ones, etc. I either need to find out how to do this, or find out if I can use plugins to give me the same effect. This is my first time using WordPress. If you know of even a tutorial or something that helps with the news feed being built in bootstrap to work in WordPress, I would be over the moon. Thank you to anyone who offers their help!
I've tried to find an answer online but all I get are pre-built news theme suggestions. I guess there just that many it drowns out any answers.
The short answer is no.
A bootstrap theme is just a static page. (HTML, CSS, JS, etc.) But WordPress creates all its pages dynamically. This is because all the blog posts are saved in a database. In order to work with WordPress, you would really need to use a WordPress theme. If you know PHP you could easily migrate your bootstrap theme to a WP theme.
There is even a bootstrap starter Theme which might help you to get started: https://de.wordpress.org/themes/wp-bootstrap-starter/
In this case you would really just need to add your markup, styles and scripts to the project.

Can I make WordPress theme from html template designed by 3rd party?

I am not a designer that's why I need to buy others template and then convert them to WordPress to sell in marketplace. I saw some awesome html templates I really love them and I didn't find these templates for WordPress. That's why I am willing to buy these html templates and convert them to WordPress theme.
Is it acceptable by themeforest and other marketplace?
Yes you can convert static HTML themes to Wordpress, but you would need some knowledge of Wordpress development to do so. It would entail replacing the content with the dynamic functions that Wordpress provides.
Buying themes from places like Themeforest is perfectly acceptable, and a great deal of small businesses and blogs do this. Just make sure the theme will do what you need it to. Also, worth checking their return policy - many premium themes and plugins have a 30-day money-back guarantee which will allow you to make sure the theme is right for you or you can get your money back, no questions asked.

Editable Settings in Custom WordPress Theme

I am trying to implement a simple one page -no blog- WordPress theme using a bootstrap template. I have an aside with three social links -facebook, twitter, Instagram- in the header.
I want to be able to make it so not only are these able to put truned on or off in by the user through the wp admin dashboard, but also the links to those sites able to be put in through said dashboard.
I am using udnerscores as a starter theme. How do I go about doing what I am looking to do?
This can be achieved using the Customizer API. That would be my recommendation. There is a lot of really good documentation on how to use that here. It also includes a whole bunch of sample code. Give that a look.

Adding email subscription to Wordpress theme

I've developed my own Wordpress theme and I wanted to give users the ability to subscribe to my blog.
I have the typical Post RSS and Comment RSS options that come with Wordpress under the META section of the sidebar, but I also wanted to give my readers an option to just input their email address and press a button to "subscribe".
I know this is possible since I've seen many many blogs that use this, and if needed I can list some here. But I'm not sure if this is a plugin or a widget or what-have-you.
If you know how to implement this functionality into a Wordpress theme please let me know.
Try this plugin:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/subscribe2/
When i wanna add a new functionality to my WP sites, i always start by googling plugins. I mean if the solution already exists, that means less work for me, right? ;)
There are enough newsletter plugins in the plugin directory. You shouldn't add such code into your theme; this is really a plugin job, and your users may choose another one than yours.
This plugin is very useful if you are using feedburner http://feedburner.google.com/ for feeds.
This will open a popup to your visitor for subscriber

You can try with https://wordpress.org/plugins/jetpack/ it's so helpful plugin for email subscription option on WordPress site.
