LinkedIn Share button doesn't work in Microsoft Edge - linkedin

My website has a LinkedIn Share button at the top. This seems to be working fine in Chrome, Firefox, & IE. With Edge, however, we get this ugly error message:
I used the Share Plugin Generator on LinkedIn's developer portal which generated this script:
<script src="//platform.linkedin.com/in.js" type="text/javascript"> lang: en_US</script>
<script type="IN/Share" data-url="https://www.aoccorp.com"></script>
Why is this not working in Edge while it works in the other browsers?
Thanks,
Steve
Update:
Interestingly, I experience the same behavior in LinkedIn's own developer blog (https://developer.linkedin.com/blog/posts/2018/deprecating-the-inshare-counter).

Thank you for raising this issue! There is a known compatibility issue with LinkedIn plugins and Microsoft Edge. While our teams are currently working on a solution, you will continue to see these types of errors with Microsoft Edge.

Solution: Do NOT use the LinkedIn Share Library.
Take a look: Here's someone else posting in 2018 having the same exact problem, Issue on IE with LinkedIn Share plugin. And here's another person: Error on clicking the LinkedIn Share Button on IE/Edge in 2019. And, officially from LinkedIn, if you want this plugin to work, you need to ask your users to do this:
Open Internet Explorer.
Click Tools and select Compatibility View Settings.
Uncheck the box next to "Display all websites in compatibility view".
Click Close.
Is it reasonable to ask your users to reconfigure their browser just to be able to click one, single button on your website? Answer: No.
You don't need to rely on the LinkedIn Share Plugin. All you really ought to need is...
https://www.linkedin.com/sharing/share-offsite/?url={url}
Then making sure it works cross-browser is in your hands.

How to solve "This page couldn't be translated." in chrome?

I've tried all the solution in this tutorial link, which includes update chrome, clear cookies, reinstall chrome, reinstall extensions, Incognito mode. But none of them works for me.
I can still use the web version of the Google Translate (I just can't use one click to translate the whole page), so it might has nothing to do with Google Translate stops serving in mainland China?
Hope someone can help me fix this.

Broken videos posted to LinkedIn via API - video not playing on page, but link works

We are now experiencing an error where when we post videos to LinkedIn via the API, the video itself does not play on page - but the link to new tab works. The video has a weird overlay and/or play button where it appears to be clickable, but upon clicking does nothing.
We believe this is a bug. Is LinkedIn going to fix this in the near future? Also, is the potentially related to the whitelist permissions talked about in another thread?
I was directed by LinkedIn Customers Support to post these questions here.
There is no code to show.
Videos posted to LinkedIn via API should play and work properly on page.

Open Graph on LinkedIn does not work for my client's site

For some reason sharing links on LinkedIn from my client's site does not work.
I've checked the specifications on https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/46687/making-your-website-shareable-on-linkedin?lang=en and it looks like all the og meta tags re correct. Sharing on other social media works without problems. It's only on LinkedIn where the Open Graph data is not picked up.
Here is a sample URL which does not work on LinkedIn:
https://nomadandvillager.com/bestemmingen/kenia/mbara/vrouwenbesnijdenis/
Am I missing something?
Would you be able to share a bit more on how you're getting the tags to render on Facebook and the like?
I encountered the same problem (My site runs on Angular), but my approach was to redirect the LinkedInBot via .htaccess.
Eventually, I gave up, and wrote a custom share button with LinkedIn's rest API
With it, you will be able to specify the details of the share, and avoid the messy workarounds for LinkedIn.

Charboost unable to set campaign priorities in admin portal

Recently I was trying to add and configure campaign and its priorities in Charboost admin portal. I created static and video interstitials and navigated to campaign priorities section, As expected, both static and video interstitials showed up. But if I select low to static and high to video placements, after screen reload, both placement priority automatically reset to highest.
It was working fine a month ago..
But recently I saw this bug in all browsers. ..
I just got reply from Chartboost support. They are saying that they fixed this issue.

Good to hear from you again. Are you still seeing this today? Our
engineers had solved a similar problem yesterday (not exactly what
you're describing), though I'm wondering if you could've possibly been
affected by this.
Are you familiar with the chrome console? If so, could you please open
up the chrome console and click the network tab? With this open, go
ahead and try making the change (make sure to click save), and the
network tab will record the calls that are made or attempted to be
made. A screenshot of this would be incredibly helpful.
I look forward to hearing from you and getting this resolved. Thanks
for the follow-up, and take care.

Form autofill with LinkedIn

EDIT: LINKEDIN SUPPORT - do you check Stack Overflow for posts tagged with linkedin like it says on your website?
Have been directed here by LinkedIn developer site.
I have found the following article ( https://community.unbounce.com/unbounce/topics/guide-implementing-linkedins-new-autofill-feature ), plus a couple of others that talk about LinkedIn autofill, but there seems to be no documentation on the LinkedIn developers site. Is this still in beta? Is there a date set for its official release and for documentation release?
I wish to implement this on our company HubSpot landing pages, but so far haver been unsuccessful ('Your request could not be completed') and I am wondering if this is because it has not been made available to the public yet?
I have seen it used on 2 sites, but I assume these are using formstack or another application that has been granted access to the functionality?
Would very much appreciate some info on this great potential new feature.
Thanks in advance
I came across this thread while I was researching Autofill. Looks like you have to use LinkedIn Lead Accelerator for you to be able to use it. And people are saying that that's like $25k/3 months!
