Yes, use different prefix when you are doing the installation of the wordpress or make the two websites with Wordpress Network functionality.
For the prefix, just replace wp_ by website1prefix for the website 1, and wp_ by website2prefix.
For the network :

I just created a new Wordpress project. I have managed to create a local domain to it, created db (without any data) and configurated my config.php (created from config.sample.php). Then I opened it in the browser to start the installation, but it is obviously broken - CSS is not working.
Please help, what can be wrong?
There is also another project where CSS files obviously don't work. I download that project from gitlab. That one was not from scretch. Both don't work correctly.
This problem usually occurs when you have not entered the correct website address during WordPress installation.
This guide will help you with:

If the site is in an active domain, send its address so that the problem can be checked.

I am planning to create a blog based on WordPress platform. I read some books and blogs about how to use this framework. I found that it's a good practice to install WordPress local and create the blog offline (add a Theme, content, etc. ) and later to order the domain, hosting and make it public.
Update: The following error was received while surfing the WordPress page:
“Error establishing a database connection”.
I tried to resolve the issue but on the wp-admin I get a different error :
“One or more database tables are unavailable. The database may need to
be repaired”
I'm developing wordpress based websites in past 5 years and usually what I do is, develop entire site on local and move it to the cloud. If you do it public, create a robot file so that search engine can't find you, until you are ready to launch, or good to show others.

Hi,
let say im creating a wordpress site, and ofcourse have a database, so the database is populated with the current site, and i have migrate the site and database to the host, now im about to develop a new wordpress site, should i create a new database for it? or create it using the available database?
im assuming that i should have a new database for the new website but i want to hear the experts point of view.
thanks
This depends on what are these sites for. For example, I create custom WP sites and templates. Lots of them. And I need to show the clients how they work before installing, so I have a dev server. In that particular case, I use the same DB and simply change
$table_prefix = 'wp_';
to something else
But of course, if you're doing this for sites that will actually have traffic and you plan to work with, then it's way better to use a different DB for each site unless your host limits you. If you ever have to move your site, you probably won't face the dreaded "50 Mb DB limit", you'll have a cleaner and faster DB, and many more advantages with 0 disadvantages

How could i check to see if a site is running on wordpress.com or wordpress.org (self hosted) ?
the site in question is http://www.nsfgirls.com/
cheers
See where the DNS results for www.nsfgirls.com point using a tool like DNS Bench. Then use a reverse DNS lookup on that IP address. In this case, you'll see this site is hosted on bluehost.
Is My Blog Working? is a handy tool, and it shows webhost, some DNS, server signature, etc.

Hi folks I wish to start one blog using wordpress. It ll contain songs, playlists, song serch.
What are the steps i want to do?
thanks
If WordPress hasn't been installed
1 - choose a good host for your WordPress installation. I've been using dreamhost.com
2 - Install WordPress ( dreamhost has a very WordPress installation process )
If it's already installed:
1 - create the pages you need. this will also give you your site navigation
2 - upload your files in the media library
3 - start creating pages containing media library files
We can dive deeper, but these are the first steps.
