How can i use CVS version control in QT - qt

Hey I am trying to connect my Qt creator to my CVS. At the moment i am using it separated but i have seen version control options for it.
Now i have looked but no clear answer/or answer that worked has shown up.
Every one revers to the option Tools-->CVS, but this option in not in my list. The plugin is installed.
I am working on a Windows 10 computer and the information in the top shows my Qt and CVS versions.
My question is how can i use my CVS version control in QT?

First, make sur the CVS plugin is actually loaded. Go to Help > About Plugins... and ensure the CSV plugin has a green check icon.
Then ensure the CVS plugin is configured properly. Go to Tools > Options, under "Version Control" you should have a CVS tab with multiple options.
If it still does not work, you might want to report a bug in: https://bugreports.qt.io/

Visual Studio Project restore old version

I am working on an ASP.NET web project in Visual Studio 2013 and it worked couple of hours before. But an hour ago I was tweaking something in the project and messed up the entire project. Is there anyway to restore to the version I had yesterday?
If you are using Version control, such as Mercurial, GIT, Subversion, TFS -- and you remembered to commit your work then YES, definitely.
If you're not using Version Control then you need to ask yourself why not? And don't turn off the computer today until you've corrected that oversight.
Also, you may have previous versions/restore points saved for you in Windows. In windows explorer, right click on the folder where your work is being saved and select properties. They may be a 'previous versions' tab, and inside there you may be able to revert to an earlier version. If so: lucky lucky you.
Also, if your work is being shared using a service like DropBox, you will be able to find earlier versions of your solution or project files.
There is one other technique, and I... I hesitate to mention this. What you need is a DeLorean car from the eighties, and enough plutonium to generate 1 point 21 GigaWatts. You also need.... forget it, no, Version Control is your best bet. Or Ctrl+Z.
Holding ctrl+z for a few minutes, and using version control are the only two ways I am aware of doing that..
In case you're like me and trying to recover from what you just did, if you saved your work to OneDrive, you can find the previous version of your work by logging into OneDrive through a web browser.
Newer versions of Visual Studio should have a "Timeline" feature that shows up in your left bar. It has probably been saving past versions of your files. But I would agree with others that using Version Control (like just committing your changes to a Github repo) is probably a smart idea!

Aptana Studio Code Assist for WordPress is incomplete

I installed the WordPress bundle/ruble for Aptana Studio, but it's only providing code assistance for a subset of WordPress functions. I'd like code assistance for all WordPress core functions (or as many as possible). My projects have PHP as their nature, and are connected via SFTP to remote WordPress installations.
After the bundle (which hasn't been updated in over a year) didn't provide everything I was looking for, I tried using a local copy of WordPress as an external library, then adding it as an external directory to the PHP Buildpath. Neither one added any more functions than the bundle provided. These actions were suggested in Aptana Studio Support and WordPress Answers.
Am I doing something wrong, or is the level of code assistance I'm looking for not available?
It's true that the WordPress bundle offers just some limited auto-completion support. Though including the local copy of another WordPress installation as a PHP external library seemed to solve this in the latest Aptana Studio version (3.4.0,) as you already mention to have tried, and as it is suggested in this one of the links that you pointed out.
Here are all the specific steps I took, so you can check if there was something different in the procedure you followed.
Open the Preferences menu going to Window > Preferences
Select Aptana Studio > Editors > PHP > Libraries
Click "New user library"
Add the path to another local WordPress installation (not the same WordPress files in the current project,) selecting the root folder of a freshly extracted WordPress download (e.g.: C:\wordpress-3.5.1\wordpress)
Make sure the new library is selected in the user libraries list (marking it with a checkmark next to the library icon.)
Apply the changes and press OK
Make sure your project is a PHP project. Right click the project folder, select Properties > Project Natures and mark the PHP checkbox.
Now, inside PHP code, I get autocompletion suggestions for all core WordPress functions - and I can even go to check their source by pressing F3 on their function name.
I followed the steps of E. Serrano and it works perfectly. What is silly is that if you want autocompletion for, say, add_action('wp_print_footer_scripts', 'scripts.js', 1); the moment that you type the quote, autocompletion is lost... if you try add_action( wp_ you get all WP commands. Hope it helps...

Where can I get the source code for jQuery Tools 1.2.7?

I need to get the source code for this, but unfortunately, I can't find links to it on jquerytools.org. The forum on that site is also down. Does anyone know where I can get this source or unminify it?
Thanks,
Rob
Have you tried going on http://jquerytools.org/download/? (I mean appending '/download/' to the url you posted)
EDIT: However you can download the source from Git, got to the link and click "clone" or "zip".
EDIT: No, it's the 1.2.7 version, as you can see in the "tag" link they tagged the 1.2.7 version about 7 months ago, this is the version you need as far as I can read in your question, if you are not convinced than I suggest you this link (that is the link near "Tagging version 1.2.7" in the github project's tag page):
https://github.com/jquerytools/jquerytools/zipball/v1.2.7
clicking on the link above you will start to download jquerytools v1.2.7 in a .zip file
It has become very difficult to find the source code for jQueryTools, and since the original CDN provided by the author has now disappeared a lot of sites that were calling the toolset from the CDN in question have stopped working.
There is a useful resource at https://cdnjs.com/libraries/jquery-tools/1.2.7 that provides CDN/download links for all version of jQueryTools back to v1.2.0, which although it is not a source repository, can at least help some people with legacy sites still running to keep them running whilst they find an alternate solution or replace the website.

Default/Common Ribbon Icons

I'm starting in WPF Ribbon development and it is very nice!
My problem is to find (FREE) basic icons (like file save/open/etc, cut/paste/etc).
Have you got some suggestion?
Have you looked at the Visual Studio Icon Library? Provided you're not using Visual Studio Express, the library should be available as part of the install (if you didn't do a complete install). The images are free to use from a licensing perspective, provided they are used in a consistent way with the usage listed in the Readme.html file in the same folder as the image (See this blog post for further information). Basically as long as you don't use the disk image that's typically associated with "Save" to mean "Open" or some other weird usage, you should be fine.
Update 5 years later: the icon library is now available online.

VIM Key bindings for Adobe Flash Builder 4

I was curious if anyone knew of a way to get VI/VIM key bindings in Flash Builder 4. I know that I can just edit the files in VIM directly, but as I am just getting started in Flex - I would prefer to use the IDE until I get my feet about me.
I am running Flash Builder 4 on OSX Snow Leopard.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I haven't used Flash Builder 4, but I am under the impression it is basically a plugin for the Eclipse IDE. If this is the case, then the easiest way to get Vim key bindings might be to install the Vrapper plugin. The site for the plugin is: http://vrapper.sourceforge.net/home/
The site provides links that can be
used within Eclipse to install the
plugin. I'd probably start with this
one:
http://vrapper.sourceforge.net/update-site/stable
To install the plugin from within the
IDE, click the Help menu, then
"Install New Software..."
In the "Work with:" text box, insert
the link provided by the site.
In the table presented below the
text box Vrapper should appear
which a checkbox next to it.
Check the checkbox and click next.
You should now be able to click the
Finish button and the plugin should
be installed. You will probably be
prompted to restart the IDE. I would
do so.
Upon restart, there will probably be
a vim icon on the toolbar that you
can use to enable/disable the Vrapper
plugin. If there isn't, you should
still be able to enable/disable it
through Edit->Toggle Vrapper.
You may also want to check out http://eclim.org/ which rather than emulate Vim, allows it to be used directly with Eclipse in several ways. I think Vrapper is probably closer to what you are looking for at the moment, but eclim might be useful to you in the future.
Hope this helps.
