I am creating a chatbot for my company - I have used Microsoft QnA to create a knowledge base, however I was following instructions from
https://www.meziantou.net/2017/05/16/creating-a-chat-bot-from-a-faq-with-azure-q-a-maker
https://channel9.msdn.com/Events/Connect/2017/T107
These videos/articles show a "BotService" preview. I am using the new "BotApp Service" and cannot figure out where to link up my knowledge base to my bot.
I am a true beginner to this and was encouraged by the video tutorials made with the old "BotService" - however when I have tried to do this, I've run into a wall with it already.
All I want to do is link up my current knowledgebase made in QnA to my Azure platform in order to use the bot on my website.
Thanks,
T
T, you should publish the QA Knowledge base/Q&A as a service, a step by step guide can be found here , I'd also recommend checking the QnA Maker page if you haven't already, it can be found here

I am following this tutorial and made a QnA service on Azure but it is not showing in "My Knowledge Bases".
Azure QnA service just get api key and QnA API service
if you want to create Knowledge Bases pls go to https://www.qnamaker.ai/ , that will link your QnA API service on Azure in setting option .
Did you create QnAMaker service or a knowledge base.
First do this https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cognitive-services/qnamaker/how-to/set-up-qnamaker-service-azure
And then create a knowledge base: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cognitive-services/qnamaker/how-to/create-knowledge-base
Azure needs some time to deploy everything. Follow the steps here:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cognitive-services/qnamaker/how-to/set-up-qnamaker-service-azure
Open the deployment tab in azure and make sure it says "Your deployment is complete". If it does not: try removing the service and recreate it.
Afterwards it should become visible in the dropdown on the qnamaker.ai page.
I had make a interactive quiz with module h5p on Drupal 7. Now, I would like to know how I can get the user's result ? I found that I can use TinCan API to do that but I cannot find any guide on internet.
Thank you.
I am not sure if by "I found that" you mean the official documentation.
The steps basically are
Install TinCan Bridge for Drupal
Install Learning Locker on a Server or get an account hosted somewhere
Configure TinCan Bridge by entering the endpoint for Learning Locker and your credentials
Alternatively, you can install Drupal Quiz ans the H5P questions add on that will provide reports about H5P content types.
I have been creating a SPA from an empty ASP.net Project and i want to integrate Azure AD Authentication to the project.
Anyone know of any good step by step guide to do this or something similar?
I was reading a bit on this post by Microsoft, but I don't think I understood it quite well.
Error During Authentication Detection
My best suggestion here is to simply follow one of the open source solutions for single page applications which you can find on our GitHub here:
https://github.com/Azure-Samples?q=singlepage
Along with the full source code for all the working solutions, we also provide instructions on registering your app, configuring it, and running the sample.
Another thing that is brand new, which you might find helpful is our Application Quick Start which is available here:
https://identity.microsoft.com/Docs/Web
This does not exactly tackle the intricacies of a Single Page Application, but should be a really quick way for you to just copy and paste code which enables your app to use Azure Active Directory Sign-On.
Let me know which one you found better helped you and why! We would love to hear more feedback here on the investments we are making in documentation.
I want to integrated Zoho CRM with Reckon application,
firstly i am trying to integrated Reckon Accounts Hosted and read out Docs and they provide some FTP details and forcing to implement first Reckon Accounts Desktop API.
also i am using Ubuntu 16.04 so is it possible to integrated this on linux machine and does anyhave idea to implement API of Reckon Step by stp.
Thanks.
Reckon api
This is correct. The first step is to learn how to write the XML used by the desktop version - and it is also used with Hosted. The destop version used the qbxmlrp2.dll - Hosted connects initially through the API, but then you embed the xml in post requests that are passed through the qbxmlrp2.dll. Reckon use Version 6.1 of the QuickBooks SDK which is now quite a few versions behind the American SDK. We found the Intuit documentation for the SDK to be quite thorough, but as of may 2017 the Reckon Hosted documentation is not overly helpful and leaves a lot to be figured out.
My company uses Google Apps for our e-mail/business app provider. Every employee has an account here.
I'm looking into creating an asp.net web app that would allow users to sign-in (using their Google Apps account) and then accomplish certain things (first goal: keep a current record of the employee's skillset).
Before I get started, I wanted to find out if an OpenID login system using Google Apps is any more difficult than doing it the standard way, or if I need to be aware of any pitfalls.
We have one domain, and the only requirement would be that the user has an open account that exists.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts on this!
I have slides for you from a talk I gave a month ago: Google Apps Account As OpenID
http://www.slideshare.net/timdream/google-apps-account-as-openid
Basically there are two ways of doing this.
Follow the Google documentation, patch your ASP.net OpenID library to accept Google Apps OpenID that is not really discoverable from the claimed URL.
Install a set of discovery information on the claimed URL (/openid?id=XXXX on your website) to make your Google Apps OpenID behaviors the same way present OpenIDs do.
Either way, after completion user will be able to login to your ASP.net app with following URL:
https://www.google.com/accounts/o8/site-xrds?hd=[yourappsdomain]
My solution to this issue was to use the DotNetOpenAuth library -- I was unaware that the latest version has Google Apps support.
Highly recommend the product -- you can find it here.
I modified one of the example files and was up and running in no time.
Thanks to all who answered!
