</ion-col>
look snippet its work for HTML
img {
border-radius: 50%;
}
.caption {
position: absolute;
top: 0;
left: 5px; /* changed to match image_grid padding */
height: 100%;
width: calc(100% - 5px); /* changed to match image_grid padding */
padding: 0 10px;
box-sizing: border-box;
pointer-events: none;
border-radius:500px;
}
.imageandtext {
position: relative;
}
.image_grid {
display: inline-block;
padding-left: 5px;
}
.image_grid img { /* added rule */
display: block;
}
.image_grid input {
display: none;
}
.image_grid input:checked + .caption {
background: rgba(0,0,0,0.5);
}
.image_grid input:checked + .caption::after {
content: '✔';
position: absolute;
top: 50%; left: 50%;
width: 30px; height: 30px;
transform: translate(-50%,-50%);
color: white;
font-size: 20px;
text-align: center;
border: 1px solid white;
border-radius: 50%;
}
<div class="grid-two imageandtext">
<div class="imageandtext image_grid">
<label for="selimg1">
<img src='https://i.imgur.com/0geAFQz.png' style="width:200px" />
</label>
<input type="checkbox" name="selimg" id="selimg1">

<div class="grid-two imageandtext">
<div class="imageandtext image_grid">

</label>
<input type="checkbox" name="selimg" id="selimg2">
<div class="caption">
</div>
</div>
If you have any working HTML and CSS, just use it in Ionic directly, no need to convert it to Ionic component.
In .html file:
<div class="grid-two imageandtext">
<div class="imageandtext image_grid" *ngFor="let image of images; let i = index">
<label for="selimg{{i}}">
<img src="{{image}}" />
</label>
<input type="checkbox" name="selimg" id="selimg{{i}}" />
<div class="caption">
</div>
</div>
</div>
In .scss file:
img {
border-radius: 50%;
}
...
//Keep going. Add all your css here

I would like to align text, "or" in the middle of the vertical line.
I used left: 50% or 49%, however, it's broken when I shrink the window size for response test.
I couldn't use 'left:0; right: 0; because I did not know the width of text("or")
How can I align the word "or" in the middle of the vertical line?
Can anyone help, please?
Many thanks! :)
To your absolutely positioned span add these styles:
.divide{
left: 50%;
transform: translate(-50%);
}
It works see the codepen here: https://codepen.io/arnavozil/pen/mdVyWGr
The problem you had is that u're using flexbox and at the same time you're giving the containers specific width , instead you can use justify-content : center
.fa-arrows-alt-h {
font-size: 30px;
color: #bbb;
}
.input-fields {
justify-content: center;
display: flex;
display: flex;
background: #F7F9F6;
}
.new {
/* width: 50%; */
/* float: right; */
border-right: 1px dashed #e9e9e9;
}
.form-input {
padding-left: 3.575rem;
height: calc(2.25rem + 2px);
font-size: 1.5rem;
}
.first-container {
/* display: inline-block; */
/* float: right; */
padding-right: 30px;
}
.second-container {
/* display: inline-block; */
padding-left: 30px;
}
.divide {
/* position: absolute; */
left: 0;
right: 0;
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
/* top: 20%; */
} ```
I have been out of the web development scene for a number of years and am getting back into it and developing a website using Bootstrap 4.
This maybe a stupid question but I have some CSS styling for checkboxes for some form elements and when reducing the screen size < 768px the styling vanishes...
Is this something fundamental to Bootstrap (although have not had this happen with any other CSS styled elements?) or am I doing something very obviously wrong?
Here are some code segments:
.question input {
position: absolute;
left: -9999px;
}
.question label {
display: block;
position: relative;
margin: 5px;
padding: 15px 30px 15px 55px;
border: 3px solid #fff;
border-radius: 20px;
color: #fff;
background-color: #005552;
white-space: pre-wrap;
cursor: pointer;
user-select: none;
transition: background-color .2s, box-shadow .2s;
}
.question label::before {
content: '';
display: block;
position: absolute;
top: 10px;
bottom: 10px;
left: 10px;
width: 32px;
border: 3px solid #fff;
border-radius: 20px;
transition: background-color .2s;
}
.question input:checked + label {
background-color: #ab576c;
}
.question input:checked + label::before {
background-color: #fff;
}
<form target="nextQuestion.php" action="post" style="margin-bottom: 0px;">
<input type="hidden" name="percentage" id="percentage">
<input type="hidden" name="currentQuestion" id="currentQuestion" value="1">
<div class="container-fluid">
<div class="row">
<div class="col-12 my-auto toxic-red-background" align="center">
<h6 class="white-text">Your Progress Through Our Questionnaire: </h6>
<div class="progress">
<div class="progress-bar-animated bg-primary" role="progressbar" style="width: 5%" aria-valuenow="25" aria-valuemin="0" aria-valuemax="100"></div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div class="row">
<div class="col-12 toxic-teal-background questionnaire-left-section question">
<h3>Q1: Would you use out website again?</h3>
<p> </p>
<input type="hidden" value="Question2">
<input id="yes" type="checkbox" class="QuestionnaureInput">
<label for="yes" class="QuestionnaireLabel">Yes</label>
<input id="no" type="checkbox" class="QuestionnaureInput">
<label for="no" class="QuestionnaireLabel">No</label>

<button type="submit" class="btn btn-primary mb-2 float-right">Next</button>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</form>
Here are some screen grabs to illustrate what is happening:
On larger screen - All OK
Screen resized to < 768px and styling is removed
Any suggestions, answers or guidance gratefully received as I am pulling my hair out!!
Thanks in Advance!
I want to make the same design below
But I have a problem with the floating div which is the camera icon.
It should be clickable. I put z-index so it will be on top of the image that will change. I want to make all div to be clickable.
Hope you guys can help me.
Thanks!

}
.file {

.file-icon {

justify-content: center;

object-fit: cover;
object-position: top;

}
}
}
.help {
max-width: 128px;

}
}
The problem seems to be with the z-index you did set.
By default, all page elements have a z-index of 1 unless otherwise specified. Provided that .file-bg is your camera icon, changing the z-index to 2 would make your div clickable.
Disclaimer: I am a VB guy with 4 days of jQuery and CSS experience. I am just trying to figure out the web design world!
I want to learn how to approach a design like this:
!(http://i.imgur.com/tDlRxnh.jpg)
Figuring it out from the image, I believe there's an outer div with an image center aligned and a white border around the image
The image has a left and right button on either sides that overlaps the images (God knows how's that even possible!)
Below the Outer Div are four radio buttons aligned one after the other
How to go about this design? (interested in just the design, not the coding part)
Comments/explanations would help! Thanks.
Edit: With my 16 hrs of experience, this is what I have so far http://jsfiddle.net/29mH2/2/. Sorry for being such a n00b!

Since you mentioned you're working with jQuery already, take a look at this tutorial and a working example of the result.
Basically, you're going to want to make two list elements.
One will contain the slides, and the other will contain the navigation buttons.
EDIT:
Since you're just looking for an example of the design, Here's a basic example that shows how to make a layout like you're talking about without any actual functionality.
HTML:
<div class="slider">
<img class="image" src="http://i.imgur.com/dL3io.jpg" />
<div class="navigation-arrows">
<div class="arrow left"><</div>
<div class="arrow right">></div>
</div>
</div>
<div class="navigation">
<input type="radio" name="op">
<input type="radio" name="op">
<input type="radio" name="op">
<input type="radio" name="op">
</div>
CSS:
body {
text-align: center;
}
.slider,
.slider .image {
width: 400px;
}
.slider .image,
.navigation-arrows,
.navigation-arrows .arrow {
position: absolute;
}
.navigation-arrows,
.navigation-arrows .arrow {
height: 25px;
}
.slider {
height: 250px;
position: relative;
margin: 20px auto;
}
.slider .image {
height: 250px;
left: 0;
top: 0;
}
.navigation-arrows {
width: 100%;
margin: 0 auto;
top: 125px;
}
.navigation-arrows .arrow {
border-radius: 12.5px;
background: #000000;
color: #ffffff;
width: 25px;
line-height: 25px;
cursor: pointer;
}
.navigation-arrows .left {
left: 5px;
}
.navigation-arrows .right {
right: 5px;
}
