I have just installed semantic-ui with nodejs. I have added the code for selectbox with avatar images from the semantic ui site. Now I come to know that semantic-ui doesn't provide any images with its package (the '/images/avatar/small/jenny.jpg' is just blank).
Is there any provision to download those images? Or do I need to download those images separately from some other site?
Any help would be appreciated
Indeed thos images aren't download with semantic. If you want to access them you can reach them with semantic url. By example : https://semantic-ui.com/images/avatar/small/jenny.jpg

You are serving your images from a folder called images, but there is not such a folder.
The same with CSS, you are serving your styles.css from a “css” folder that is non-existent in your Github repo.
Either create those folders and add the images and CSS in them, or in every “src=“, remove the folder name.
Your paths are wrong, they all point to images/something.png but the images are in the same root folder as index.html so it should just be
<src img="something.png">
same for the css
Hope you all doing great.
I am using SCSS and Bootstrap in my Angular Application and as we know once Angular app runs, it converts these SCSS files to CSS version of it.
How can I check CSS file size generated as a whole for application as I need to show some reports for optimization tasks.
Any idea. I tried googling and here on Stack Overflow but couldn't find required solution. I can't even see any CSS file in Network tabs of Browsers.
Any Suggestion?
Assuming you are using Angular CLI for your project, which uses webpack internally...
Once you build a project. A dist directory is generated in the project root. Take a look into it and you'll find all the .js and .css bundles it might have generated.
Note - The size will vary based on what kind of build you do. For a production build, the sizes are going to be minimal, for other kinds of builds, if any, the sizes may differ.
You should go first in the Networks tab then reload the page. Once you reload it, click on CSS filter then you would see all the list of CSS included in your app, with the file size.
I didnt find any css generated in Network like above answer but I did a trick.
I went to webpack folder and there I found one generated CSS. ( Searched through a random CSS Selecto ).
I right clicked and saved it on desktop. If you check the properties of this CSS file, it shows the size in KB.
Am using This bootstrap CSS design it works fine but the images doesn't appear. I took from its github repository the css file and the index.html.
i didn't make any changes, and am using it with my meteor project. I already added twbs:bootstrap package. Are there any packages i need to add to my meteor project?
why the images doesn't appear with me?
Those images does not appear because you just copied the index the css, you are missing the rest of the assets (where images are stored). But for your own images, you shouldn't have any problem to add them.
A Wordpress theme has following components:
theme.zip file
demo-content.xml
PSD.zip file (contains files such as icon-blog.psd, icon-home.psd, integrity-blog.psd, ... renew-home.psd)
Using WP Admin (WP Backend) I have managed to upload theme.zip file.
Using WP Importer I have managed to upload demo content.
However, what do I do with PSD files?
I would like to add that the current frontend looks very basic. And I assume PSD files serve to enrich frontend. But how do I use them? Where do I "import" them? How do I do it?
After taking a look at the comments, I have to say that if the tag exists, the answer should be answered here too.
Your .PSD is basically all the images that compose your theme in one editable file.
The extension of the file is meant to be opened with Photoshop and if you open it there, you should see the design of your theme ready to be cut and applied into HTML and CSS.
For Wordpress or your site it has no utility by itself, however, if you want to change some button, icon or related it's just a matter of open the editable, change it, save the image and replace it on the server.
Ex:
You bought a theme initially developed in English and you have a button which is an image that says "Register". Since it's not editable, there's no code change that can help you, so the only way you have is to open the .PSD, edit the button and save it again as image, replacing the old one.
So, i'm building a website using magento, i tried to install a theme but there are some files that dont seem to be loading, including some css, i'm gonna list the website and the demo of the theme so you guys can tell me if you see something where you can help:
The website
The Demo
As you can see, there is a lot going wrong... the name of the divs isnt even the same, i have followed the readme tutorial and done this multiple times, the theme was installed using magento connect.
I've done the whole System>Configuration>Design and pointed to the new theme...
If you could give me some clue about what's wrong, i'd be very thankful, any further details needed, just ask.
Package from Magento Connect includes only design and skin files without WebAndPeople Custommenu extension.
Which names of divs do you see as not similar? I installed this theme for test and it is similar to yours with div names. Don't look on the devdemoz.com's demo because it is modified theme and is not original that included in package! You can compare their style.css and your with diff or notepad++ to find differences (about 20% of original skin).
Footer. You made mistake in HTML code and placed tag <h3> outside of <ul>. Just move them one line down like in /readme.html file.
If you wish to use modified mobileshoppe demo from devdemoz.com you can simply grab their style.css and images and put in your folder.
