I have 5 calendars on same page, every one of them related to a different agenda. Only the day view is available.
I need to put an identifying header for each agenda, not just showing the day of week.
I don't know how to do this, any type of help will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
You can set the columnFormat option to control what's in the header for a particular day.
If you want custom text in there (i.e. not just date formatting strings) then you can enclose any text like that within square brackets.
For example
columnFormat: '[Hello, World!] dddd',
would result in something like "Hello, World! Thursday" (depending on the day of the week, obviously).
See https://fullcalendar.io/docs/text/columnFormat/ for more detail.

For this report, I need one field (Sales Code) to only show if it has been updated. Periodically they change Sales code and I want a report to show the prior code along side the new code when it changes. Along with its part number and so on.
I was wondering the best way to go about tackling this request.
I tried to do _add_days -1 and compare the Sales code --> Sales code1. I dont think that will give me what I am looking for.
For example Sales code changes from AA --> AB.
I want to see New CODE OLD Code Part Number and so on...
AB AB 12345
The pattern you are encountering is called a slowly changing dimension.
Here's a wee free primer.

You don't mention the structure of the data you're working with so it would be quite difficult for me to say what type you have other than the fact that you're trying to track historical data and seem to have it captured somehow rules out type 0.
Because of that, I can't come down from Mount Sinai with the solution but this can help you start to think through the problem.
In Framework manager have the modeler design the fields for SalesCode and SalesCode1
To only show if there was a change
Add a detail filter:
SalesCode <> SalesCode1
To control the context of time, have a separate filter like:
[Sales Date] between ?FromDate? and ?ToDate?
I'm relatively new to Crystal Reports and I'm getting trouble with this:
I created a graph on the group header section so that it shows the sales by client per month. Each client gets its own graph. The thing is that I'm getting blank graphs for the clients that didn't buy anything on the period. I tried to used the following code on the "Suppress if blank" option in the Section Expert in order to hide the blank graphs, but it didn't work:
IF COUNT(T_CMDE.ID_CMDE_LINE)=0 THEN TRUE
Any help is much apreciated.
Go to your section expert and choose the header the graph is in. Next to "Supress (No Drill-Down)" click the x-2 formula button.
Try:
{T_CMDE.ID_CMDE_LINE}=0
That should suppress any header that has a value of 0 for that field.
I'd like to use the http://angular-ui.github.io/bootstrap/#/datepicker.
Also, I have e.g. a the Events list for, let's say - 12th January
Is it possible to change e.g. the color of that day in the datepicker that I can see that for that day some events exist ?
the reason is, I'd like to give the opportunity for users to be aware whose days contains any Events
I've found that plugin https://github.com/eternicode/bootstrap-datepicker (in the demo, set the 'multidate' textbox value to true).
Moreover, that plugin offers the method to select many dates.
That's exactly I was looking for
I am using an mx:DateField in Flex and it works nice with the date picker, but I also need it to be editable, so i set editable="true".
The problem is that now the user can enter anything they want - even though I have a formatString="YYYY-MM-DD" set. The date picker honors this format, but if the user enters in the format MM/DD/YYYY they can - or they can even enter garbage data.
I realize I can set up a data validator to check that it is a valid date and in the appropriate format as per the flex docs, but I was hoping to have something I have seen in other languages where the text field would show something like "0000-00-00" and the user clicks in to the field and it allows them to change only the digits (the zeros) and can not type any alpha characters or add/remove any length.
Any ideas?
Try to use masked text input for that.
Personally, I wouldn't use a DateField. I would create a custom component that has 3 separate TextInputs, one for each year, month and day, and have a DateChooser on the right side if the user wants to pick the date manually.
You'll have to add logic to have the focus bounce from one textinput to the next. You can even make them look like they're in the same component with dashes in between. The user thinks it's just one component, but it's actually a composite component.
Anywho, just my 2 cents. I've done it before with good results.
Long time reader etc,
I've a TFS report that I want to alter the sorting on by date. The problem is the sort only seems to consider the day element and the rest isn't considered. For example, the following is happening:
1/7/2011
1/7/2011
1/7/2011
2/12/2010
3/03/2011
3/03/2011
I've looked for a way to specify the datatype on the box in the table but to no avail. Any suggestions?
I've realised the field was being treated as text as the date in question isn't guaranteed to be there and replaced with an empty string if it wasn't.
Two steps have fixed the problem:
Added calculated field to dataset and wrapped an iif around to deal with missing dates as being way off in the future.
=CDate(IIf(IsDate(Fields!My_Date.Value), Fields!My_Date.Value, DateAdd(DateInterval.Year, 10,Now)))
This then forces the field to be treated as a date. I then added a sort on the group on this calculated field which isn't shown in the report and gives the impression that those items with a date get ordered and the rest are left to the other layers of sorting which is correct.
Is there a better way of doing this?
I find it a very efficient way!
I did it myself more complex
Group properties of the field you want to sort on
Sorting
expression:
=Datepart("yyyy",Fields!Datum.Value) & Datepart("m",Fields!Datum.Value) & Datepart("d",Fields!Datum.Value)
It will sort first on year, then on month, then on day
