sporadic not authorized errors with artifactory - artifactory

About 1 of 40 build on our CI server (and on developer machines) fails with:
[ERROR] Plugin org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-failsafe-plugin:2.17 or one of its dependencies could not be resolved: Failed to read artifact descriptor for org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-failsafe-plugin:jar:2.17: Could not transfer artifact org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-failsafe-plugin:pom:2.17 from/to artifactory (https://example.com/artifactory/repo): Not authorized , ReasonPhrase:Unauthorized.
Still no clue how to fix it. Any ideas?

Starting Minishift VM ..... FAIL E1210 : "This computer doesn't have VT-X/AMD-v enabled. Enabling it in the BIOS is mandatory"

I was trying to install minishift on my local laptop.
I was following the below said steps as part of the process.
https://docs.okd.io/3.11/minishift/getting-started/preparing-to-install.html
Set up your virtualization environment
Download Minishift software for your operating system from the Minishift Releases page
Install Minishift
Start Minishift
Configure Minishift so you can use it efficiently
I did install VirtualBox (6.1.16) as part of virtualization. And disabled the Hyper-v and Windows Hypervisor platform (Windows Program Features on/off). But after downloading and installing minishift by configuring it under PATH environment variable. I run the the below command - minishift start from command prompt.
-- Starting profile 'minishift'

-- Checking if https://github.com is reachable ... OK
-- Checking if requested OpenShift version 'v3.11.0' is valid ... OK

-- Starting the OpenShift cluster using 'virtualbox' hypervisor ...

-- Starting Minishift VM ..... FAIL E1210 00:01:26.829916 9000 start.go:499] Error starting the VM: Error creating the VM. Error with pre-create check: "This computer doesn't have VT-X/AMD-v enabled. Enabling it in the BIOS is mandatory". Retrying.
Error starting the VM: Error creating the VM. Error with pre-create check: "This computer doesn't have VT-X/AMD-v enabled. Enabling it in the BIOS is mandatory"
I verified the BIOS Setup for VT-x/AMD-v, and it is enabled already, so I am wondering why it is still throwing this error -
This computer doesn't have VT-X/AMD-v enabled. Enabling it in the BIOS is mandatory
I used this commands cdk-scripts to verify that machine is capable of virtualization before running minishift on it. Should work for win 10 and 7.
Feel free to check the commands out on your machine. You will need powershell for that purpose.
To answer to my question here -
I uninstalled the existing virtual box and managed to run the minishift from windows hypervisor option (Hyper-v Manager). I adjusted my application processes (to control RAM usage) and launched minshift successfully using available 4GB RAM (out of total 8 GB in my machine).

eucalyptus-cloud.service 4.4.4 constantly crashing with JVM memory errors

I'm trying to work through the manual installation guide. When I get as far as registering an admin account for the console (euare-accountcreate) or registering services (euserv-register-service) the eucalyptus-cloud service inconsistently crashes with the same JVM memory error. As an example a few times I've been able to register the UFS or create the admin account but when I move on to perform another step in the install it will fail and checking the service status shows that it has crashed. I don't have experience with Java memory errors and could really use some help understanding whats going on and how to investigate this type of error in general:
[root#cloud ~]# euserv-describe-services ufs-10.0.0.2

Why Oracle listener and database service not running?

I am just starting to get my feet wet in Red Hat Linux 7.2 and Oracle 12c. So I spent last weekend devoted to in an attempt to see if I could stand up Oracle 12c on RHEL 7.2. In the end and yes, I was able to stand up Oracle on a RHEL 7.2 VM but not without problems - a lot of them. But I managed to resolve
them one at a time. I blew away my VM and started everything from scratch again.
Now I think I have a pretty good setup up & running. The only thing I don't understand is when I reboot my Linux box, both the Oracle listner and the database service do not start automatically as they do on a Windows Server 2012 R2 system. If these services are not running, naturally I can't connect
to the Oracle DB. To fix it, I have to run these two commands:
Logon as the oracle user
Run lsnrctl start
I will see a message something like: The listener supports no services
This is fine.
Connect to the database and run
sql>startup
After that, everything is running as normal. I can connect to the Oracle db from any Oracle client. My questions are: Is this the normal behavior on a Linux box? Did I miss something during the Oracle install? If these services are supposed to start automatically, what do I need to do to fix this?
Thank you.
This error solution is very simple, first, let's understand why this error occurs. It basically has two reasons which are:
1) Your database and service name is not properly set in Oracle environment it should be same everywhere check below parameter values
-ORACLE_SID in oracle environment.
-SID_NAME in tnsnames.ora file.
-SERVICE_NAME in listener.ora file.
2) Host name/IP address is missing, not correct or spelling mistake, so please check the below.
-Check the IP ADDRESS in /etc/hosts file.
-It should be same in listener.ora and tnsnames.ora file
-And it should be able to ping from the local and remote server.
Now see I've also faced the same problem and resolved:
