Robotframework and Saucelabs integration - robotframework

I am trying to integrate my robotframework test with saucelabs. I just used open browser keyword and passed the remote url and desired capabilities values.
Open Browser https://saucelabs.com/ ie remote_url=${REMOTE_URL} desired_capabilities=browserName:internet explorer,version:9.0,platform:Windows 7
Got the below error
Opening browser 'ie' to base url 'https://saucelabs.com/' through
remote server at 'desired_capabilities=browserName:internet
explorer,version:9.0,platform:Windows 7' failed [ WARN ] Can't take
screenshot. No open browser found | FAIL |
java.net.MalformedURLException: no protocol:
desired_capabilities=browserName:internet
explorer,version:9.0,platform:Windows 7
I tried to pass the desired capabilities in different format and got the same error. This framework is set up in eclipse using jython.

Open Browser https://saucelabs.com/ browserName=ie remoteUrl=${REMOTE_URL} desiredCapabilities=platform:Windows 7,browserName:internet explorer,version:9.0,username:${username},accessKey:${accessKey}
Define/pass the values of the variables before using the above statement.

How do I use JARs stored in Artifactory in spark submits?

I am trying to configure the spark-submits to use JARs that are stored in artifactory.
I've tried a few ways to do this
Attempt 1: Changing the --jars parameter to point to the https end point
Result 1: 401 Error. Credentials are being passed like so: https://username:password#jfrog-endpoint. The link was tested using wget and it authenticates and downloads the JAR fine.
Error
Attempt 2: Using a combination of --packages --repositories
Result 2: URL doesn't resolve to the right location of the jar
Attempt 3:Using combination of --packages and modified ivysettings.xml (containing repo and artifact pattern)
ivy settings
Result 3: URL resolves correctly but still results in "Not Found"
After some research it looks like the error might say "Not Found" and the it looks like it has "tried" the repo, it could still very well be a 401 error.
Error
Any ideas would be helpful! Links i've explored:
Can i do spark-submit application jar directly from maven/jfrog artifactory
spark resolve external packages behind corporate artifactory
How to pass jar file (from Artifactory) in dcos spark run?

You can use https://username:password#jfrog.com/rep, however you need to specify port.
https://username:password#jfrog.com:443/repo
I discovered this using Artifactory's "set me up" tool for package type Ivy. If you look in the resolver url it specifies the port.

Jmeter: Response code: Non HTTP response code: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException

I have an application URL. I need to run login test using Jmeter. I recorded the login steps using blazemeter extension of chrome. But when I run it I get below error. I know there have been questions like this, I have tried few and it seems my case is different.
I have tried:
Added these two lines in jmeter.bat
set JAVA_HOME=C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_65
set PATH=%JAVA_HOME%\bin;%PATH%
Run Jmeter using "Run as Administrator"
Download the certificate from here https://gist.github.com/borisguery/9ef114c53b83e553b635 and install it this way
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2k581jcWk9M
Restart the Jmeter but and try again but no luck.
When I expand the error in Jmeter View tree listener I get error on this particular css file: https://abcurl.xyzsample.com/assets/loginpage/css/okta-sign-in.min.7c7cfd15fa939095d61912dd8000a2a8.css

If you are getting error for only one .css file and it does not belong to the application under test (i.e. it is an external stylesheet) the best thing you could do is just to exclude it from the load test via URLs must match section which lives under "Advanced" tab of the HTTP Request Defaults configuration element.
If you need to load this .css by any means you could also try the following approaches:
Play with https.default.protocol and https.socket.protocols properties (look for the above lines in jmeter.properties) file
Install Java Cryptography Extension (JCE) Unlimited Strength Jurisdiction Policy Files into /jre/lib/security folder of your JRE or JDK home (replace existing files with the downloaded ones)
If your url needs a client certificate, then copy your cert to /bin folder and from the jmeter console if you go to options -> SSL Manager and select your cert , it would prompt you for the certificate password . And if you run your tests again , that should work .
Additionally you can also do keystore configuraion (http://jmeter.apache.org/usermanual/component_reference.html#Keystore_Configuration) , if you haven't done already .
Please Note that my jmeter version is 4.0 . Hope this helps .

how to use Sense (or any other suggested tool) to help beginners with ELK

I have tried few approaches:
1)
-I downloaded Sense from https://github.com/bleskes/sense, unzipped and pasted it in kibana-5.3.0-amd64/usr/share/kibana/plugins
-I started kibana and then I got "[warning] Plugin "Sense" was disabled because it expected Kibana version "2.0.0-snapshot", and found "5.3.0"
demetrio#nodejs ~/Servers/DBs/elasticsearch-5.3.0/bin $ cd /home/demetrio/Servers/DBs/kibana-5.3.0-amd64/usr/share/kibana/bin
demetrio#nodejs ~/Servers/DBs/kibana-5.3.0-amd64/usr/share/kibana/bin $ ./kibana

2)
I tried installed, as suggested in https://github.com/bleskes/sense by following
demetrio#nodejs ~/Servers/DBs/kibana-5.3.0-amd64/usr/share/kibana/bin $ ./kibana plugin --install elastic/sense
ERROR unknown command plugin
3)
I tried to install

Plugin installation was unsuccessful due to error "Client request error: connect ETIMEDOUT 107.21.249.70:443"
P.S. I checked my Debian proxy configuration and it is correct. Should I add my proxy configs in some specific Kibana file?
4)
I tried installed it from Google Chrome Store but it seems that such plugin is no mode maintained after version 2 and ELK is currently in 5.3
5)
I installed X-Pack (https://www.elastic.co/downloads/x-pack) but, as far as I noted until now, the only significant different was an user creation for each of ELK. I was locking for some thing like described here https://github.com/bleskes/sense
Handy API suggestions
Format validation
Scope collapsing
Auto formatting
Submit multiple requests at once
Copy and Paste cURL commands
To sum up, I am locking for some tool that could make a bit easier for a dummy like to make queries and interact with ELK. I saw few pictures that drove to conclusion that Sense is a good tool for that but I couldn't make it work.
Sense is now included in Kibana. Start Kibana (default port 5601) and look at DevTools. X-Pack is actually an expansion for monitoring, alerting and security purposes. kibana console doc
So for you it would be best to start exploring elasticsearch by using kibana devtools.

TVMLKitErrorDomain error 3 Message

I have a TVML app working quite nicely now in the simulator. I've started with a menuBar template, and have used a stackTemplate as well as productTemplate. Everything is working just dandy in the simulator. However, when I hook my Apple TV up and try to run it on there, the application loads, but then I get the following error:
TVMLKitErrorDomain error 3
I have been trying to find out what this is for a few days , but I have not found any information pertaining to the error code. The simulator version is running on the localhost 9001 like Apple recommends and that is flawless. I just can't get the app to run properly on the device though. Does anyone know what that error is, and how I can fix it? As always I appreciate your help!
You need to run this command from the same directory as your TVMLKit JS file:
python -m SimpleHTTPServer 9001
.
I had same error in my TV app. Solved by editing Info.plist. This error indicates that URL user trying to visit is not reachable.
You need to allow http:// from Info.plist for your app.
If you are running on device, you should change this line from localhost to your IP address:
static let TVBaseURL = "http://localhost:9001/"
to
static let TVBaseURL = "http://MY.IP.ADDRESS.HERE:9001/"
Just open a new terminal at your app folder and run the following command before running the simulator:
ruby -run -ehttpd . -p9001

Eventually the server doesn't start and gets stopped after time-out. The Server was working fine. However, I wanted to restart it. I stopped the server completely and tried starting it. Since then I am facing this issue.
You can check the script that is getting executed when you right click and start the server.
Check if there are any unwanted entries in the java options which does not confirm to the java command line.
